Art vs Artist 2023

This year I really stepped away from social media and didn't create or share as much art. I spent more of my energy on two new wonderful jobs with GDoCExpo and @midautumngame and new life things! But I am very proud of what I did accomplish this year and I am all the more excited to jump back in in the new year. To keep my sanity, I've decided to combine multiple accounts back into one. So now all art, from drawings to merch to comics, will all be shared here! I want to be able to be more of a person than a brand and just focus on creating things that matter to me. Thank you for all your support and I hope you stick around in 2024! 🎉

Meet the Monkey King! The arrogant trickster, Sūn Wù Kōng is a NEW boss being added to the game! His arena is small, making for a more intense fight where you can't just run away. This cocky trickster originating from Journey to the West fights with his iconic extendable staff, giving him incredible reach and making his attacks very difficult to dodge.

On a mountain high up in the Qilin Peaks (Biome 4) sleeps, Ravana, the formidable boss of the Rakshasa enemies! Both the Rakshasa and Ravana are inspired by Hindu mythology.

Meet the Qilin! Unlike Nish, these wild Qilin act as guardians of other enemies in The Qilin Peaks (Biome 4) and will become enraged if you kill an enemy they are protecting! When enraged, they act more aggressively and have double the health so the strategy is to take them out first. Did I mention they also do fire damage?

The NEW Rakshasa miniboss plays almost like a shoot 'em up style game! These enemies guard the path to the mysterious mountain city at the heart of Qilin Peaks aka Biome 4's hub.

Meet the Elder Tengu! This new enemy can be found in the Qilin Peaks (Biome 4) and is an older form of the Tengu enemy. In their elder state, they have become more incorporeal and can't do as much physical damage. However, they can do fire damage and heal when shrouded, making them hard to kill.

A NEW Biome is being added to Midautumn!

Biome 4, Qilin Peaks is high up in the mountains and very windy! It has air currents that buffet you in different directions, affecting your movement. You'll find a number of new and returning enemies here, many of which can do fire damage, so watch out!
