sam: only thing i can think to talk about is how in stardew valley the seasons are all 28 days long exactly and on the first day of every season everything changes drastically because like of course thats how it works for the viddy game but we're weaving shit like that into our Big SDV Fanfic and i think it is fun :) like we imply that it wasn't like that where the protag lived before moving to pelican town and that it's like... probably due to the Magic of the valley or w/e. someone in the game says something like "the valley seems to completely transform overnight" and i latched onto that and went oh so this is real. we live in video game. awesome <3 i just like the implication of video game mechanics and logic seeping into the reality of this World, yknow?? like, imagining the characters as Real People and how they perceive these various reality-breaking video game logic things. some people try not to draw attention to this stuff in fanfic and make it more realistic for like immersion i guess but i just think its really fun :) and it almost has an element of cosmic horror to it which i like

nah i usually just keep wearing the same stuff until i either a) get too unbearably sweaty, b) gotta get into my jammies, or c) goung out again and it calls for a DIFFEDENT OUTFIT!!!!!! like going from sweatpants and a tshirt for a walk to a flashy fun outfit for karaoke at the local bar

How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire? hmmm well i recently talked about how much i like nepeta and equius's relationship and how even as moirails (perhaps, especially since they are moirails) their dynamic includes calling each other out for the things they find unappealing about each other, especially with nepeta calling equius a gross sweaty weirdo that nobody likes lol that is just very funny to me. but that under that you can still tell that they care deeply for each other.

i always go back to the scene right before murderstuck where equius wears nepeta's hat and nepeta wears his glasses and they roleplay as each other, and nepeta has to like teach him how to roleplay correctly and its really sweet and cute and funny :)

i also have to mention fefetasprite and how after they spritesplode, feferi and nepeta never leave each others side in the dream bubbles. sooooo fucking cute. they love each other :') weird girl(thing) best friends forever <3 (and also theyre gay)

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now? iiiii don't remember!! i first read homestuck when i was 12 so i have forgotten a lot of my first impressions, unfortunately! i probably liked her and thought her shipping and roleplay stuff was cute and silly and i could relate to it as a shipper and roleplayer at the time.

now, i could write an entire essay about her, man, dont even get me started. one of my favorites for sure.

favorite thing about them: god i have to pick???? um i love everything about her but im gonna say her appearance?? that sounds kinda superficial and dumb but she’s just so beautiful to me. 

least favorite thing about them: i guess her not being able to forgive??? thats not something i hold against her tho i completely understand why she can’t im just more of an aang type person

favorite line: probably this one from the desert episode.  “We’re getting out of this desert, and we’re gonna do it together. Aang, get up. Everybody, hold hands. We can do this! We have to.”

OTP: kataang of course. ive been shipping them since i was 6!

nOTP: zutara. i used to not mind it at all but now that i see it everywhere its getting kinda annoying.

random headcanon: katara is lactose intolerant. i also like to imagine her taking up gardening one day with toph! and when she’s an adult i think her being a teacher at her very own school would be cool! she is trans too because i said so.

unpopular opinion: i dont really know what would be considered an unpopular opinion but uh. i love her standing up to pakku and everything probably my fav moment but i have to admit she could have handled it better if that makes sense?? like fighting someone doesn’t really help them not be sexist. its usually a more subtler thing like suki. 

song i associate with them: honestly i associate the song the avatar’s love with her a lot. its supposed to be about her and aang but i think it fits katara really well too.
