i realize its because everyone else on the summer banner is a mythic unit/normal vaike isnt in the game yet but if inigos a tempest trial unit he should get to appear in the story and he just shows up at the beach full armor fuckass boots ON like “why is everyone wearing swimwear. i thought we were fighting.” and at the end hes like “huh. well it looks like everyones having fun, maybe i could join in…” BAM segue into summer banner part 2 lead unit summer inigo fire emblem coming at you with a steel pail. hire me intsys

The dog&hog discord is causing me severe brainrot so have these kiddos

Jam & Pop, the Vector x Vanilla kids aka crocobunnies, and Aurora & Sly, the Slushie x Espio kids aka arctic chameleons <3

The names of the Vectilla kids hit me at work and shower and though I'm not 100% sure about the designs yet, I adore the names. Jam and Pop can be read as both consumables and music words, I'm so proud.

Also yeah, older designs for Aurora and Sly!

Also also, decided that Jam's ears should be behind his head like Cream and Vanilla's, gotta fix that later.

Anyway, quick notes of them all:

These 4 plus Charmy and Rollie make up the next gen of team Chaotix

Espio is training Sly to be a ninja, and he's so cocky about that. Still gotta decide a weapon for him

Aurora is the strategist, I might give her a weapon later. Very clever and good at tricking people

Jam is a drummer, and uses sound as his attack. He can yell like his dad, and also drum really fast and hard to cause robots to vibrate and malfunction

Pop has a thing for explosives, which also fits her name. A bit of a mad scientist vibe despite her cute face

i dont remember if i kept this in my maximalist kpop post or not but i had wrote a whole section about how the concept of superm as a group is maximalism and everything that they did is probably the purest form of kpop performance spectacle that we've seen in the last several years. kpop has always been about taking random americanisms and extrapolating them into a weird and altogether new conglomorate of cultural hybrid bizarreness and superm ramps that up to 100 (pun intended). the disparate visual western touchstones (cars/motorsports, cowboys, big tech + machines, superheros, military, collegiate gear) all crammed together with choreo that goes extremely hard for no reason, stupid and cringe (complimentary) english lyrics, completely over the top studio set pieces, and all done by a group that's literally assembled from defining groups of the last three generations, from the company that pioneered the industry? how can it be anything except the pinnacle of modern kpop? people can make the arguments all they want that sm was attempting to pander to the west in the vein of bts, but what those people miss is that superm was never totally westernized in the way that bts has been in their recent endeavours. superm maintains a sense of koreanness throughout not only their music (promoting i can't stand the rain on the ellen show along with jopping, none of their title songs being fully in english) but also visually with tiger inside, which has become their most popular song second to jopping. sm was very careful not to sacrifice the threads of what makes kpop korean with superm, and that's what makes everything about what they were doing work.

I don't keep up With the episode Nagi Manga but I saw that they were doing the whole tarot thing and eeeeh, giving Chigiri the Devil card and saying it represents addiction and ruin is such a huge missed shot for me.

I may not care about those things but I lived with someone who does and the Devil of all things represents more of a ruin you bring upon yourself. The key is in looking at the image, the chains connecting the couple on the card to the devil are huge, they could escape if only they realized they were the ones perpetuating their own ruin by falling into their addictions and bad patterns of behavior.

The missed shot part here is: Nagi and Reo fit that perfectly. They fit the Lovers too, and the couple that shows up in the Lovers is the one that shows up in the Devil. Those two cards exist in a duality, and Nagi and Reo fit them perfectly. Missed shot right there.

Anyway if they wanted a card for actual ruin to throw at Chigiri the Tower is right there. The Devil is hopeful cause it points at you and says you can change your behavior and get out but Chigiri's problem is a ticking time bomb that he has no control over. Either he gives up his dream to save his leg or lives what he can of his dream until his leg finally gives out.

Important facts: lafargo has used locks of hair, fur, and feathers 🪶 of all three entities plus himself in order to magically conceive the 3 princes so he’d have a few descendants who would rule over the ars goetia for him while he goes back and forth between earth and hell

all three of which were raised by both ipos and sometimes stolas as they’ve agreed to share guardianship of the boys(although they really shouldn’t be calling cider a boy however they are still in the closet about being nonbinary so unfortunately they don’t know that)but those two have no idea that lafargo was the one who created them as well

also in this au in particular Stella began to see Valentino after the divorce and after she got up and left although they did accidentally have a kid it’s not that she stayed mad about it for long thus Stella straight up got attached to the new baby even more so than she ever did Octavia and actually has a distant relationship with Val of all people

Hopefully this at least somewhat makes sense but its supposed to be experimental so meh 😑
