saw a theory saying the phantom was just curious and I agree, so here’s my two cents.
The phantom was in the window before the car even pulled up the building. which means if it had any intentions on harming ash or her parents it had sooo much time to do so and ash’s parents would’ve been fully distracted. but it didn’t. it didn’t even get close enough for them to notice it until after ash was born.
Tumblr media
It gently reaches its hand out to ash. to do what? Idk. But in the past it onlt grabbed her. At the time, it makes sense that we (as well as the characters) thought it was to harm ash, but idk if that’s the case anymore. It didn’t try slashing her or exhibit any agressive behavior. It simple just wanted to touch her
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Both in the past and present (savanna trip) the phantom smiles at ashlyn from afar. it never takes action until AFTER it’s presence is acknowledged by someone. It never tries to chase her, attack her, or outwardly harm her in any way. It kinda just exists near her and then attempts to reach out to her.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The only time either ash or her dad were harmed by the phantom in the real world is which they moved on impulse. the phantom slashed Ashlyn’s dad while trying to move away after being stabbed, and ash got scratched after snatching her arm away. when u rlly think about it, the phantom let ashlyn go the first time. we already know it’s wayyyy stronger than ashlyn physically (roof scene) and a simple yank of the arm wouldn’t be enough to get out of its grasp. so it had to have let her go / not been holding on tight, both of which indicate it didn’t have negative intentions
Tumblr media Tumblr media
this panel often gets overlooked, but ashlyn states “it usually stops by now” meaning phantoms have been following her all her life. although she’s creeped out by the phantom, her ability to keep calm implies she’s seen the phantoms before. if that’s the case, why didn’t they attack her any of those times? If they are trying to kill her, why are they waiting to do it?
Tumblr media
this only applies to the real world though. in the phantom dimension, it’s 50/50.
Tumblr media
the first ever phantom we see (ep 1) is agressive right off the bat. even after the kids disappeared, it stayed around and it’s agressive behavior continued when they came back. we didn’t she them attempt to attack it first, as it was already chasing them, so I believe it was just agressive to begin with. It tries to swipe at them before they disappeared and attempted to slash ashlyn when it found her under the seats.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
but the phantom that dragged ashlyn to the roof only tried to attack her when she stabbed it. I was looking back at the scene, and it smashing her head against the roof was an accident. It only pins her to the ground because she puts up a struggle. even though it had her pinned down, it didn’t raise its hand at her until she stabbed it. Also this phantom was the first to listen to her when she made a demand. It also immediately calmed down.
I talked about that scene in another post, so I won’t just repeat everything I said. but point is, I don’t think the phantoms want to harm ashlyn. but they want something from her instead. they can sense smth is different about her, and are trying to figure it out. in the first couple of chapters the phantoms personally target ashlyn. When Logan got scratched it’s because him and Aiden intervened with its plan. it was only trying to get to ashlyn. which is a lil suspicious. but as the other kids turn into phantoms, the phantoms are more aware of their existences and start to target them to (the one that rushed Tyler on the tree). but who rlly knows right?

Miss Cammie Dawn Masterpost
Hi all! Welcome to my combination psychology, hypnokink, fandom and personal blog! I post a ton about hypnosis mostly with a side order of mental health stuff because kink and Bad Brain are all that are on my mind.
I had bad experiences compartmentalizing my online presence years back so I keep everything in one place these days. Prevents self-loathing and impulsively deleting blogs when the shame wins. It's an all or nothing deal. Sorry about that.
I'm British. I have red hair. I'm 39 years old and I've been active in the hypnosis community since I was 19 and presently am prioritizing working with educators at hypnokink events and doing photoshoots where and when I can.
I'm fairly open about my DID diagnosis and the treatment we are in. We try to do what we can to walk the line between not suppressing our individual expression(s) without glorifying our condition and erecting further divide between parts. I avoid syscourse where I can and typically do not advertize specific things about my parts, we are all "me" just in different lights so I'll never post stuff like individual ages/genders or such. I'm open about the condition but private about the circumstances and manifestations. Please respect that.
I am addicted to tags. If you ever want to find my original content or my fandom posts you will be able to easily here. Just click on the links below and all shall be neatly organized.
Also there are secret tags which are not advertised. Those ones are for me. A little personal treat.

Rating the Ghouls’ and the Papas’ Driving skills
The ghouls
Cirrus - Cirrus is a great driver, however she does have quite a bit of road rage. If she gets cut off in traffic you better believe that this ghoulette will be screaming profanities that would make even Dew blush. She only drives if one of the better drivers (Aether, Cumulus, or Mountain) isn’t.
“Hey you!!! You mother******”/10
Cumulus- Cumulus is one of the best drivers of the group, even if she does drive a little fast. You always know Cumulus is driving when she whips out her iconic sunglasses. She also has the best playlists of the group. On a long road trip she once sang every song from the Phantom of the Opera, all two and a half hours of it non-stop.
“The PHANTOM of the Opera is there….”/ 10
Sunshine - Since Sunshine is one of the newer ghouls she actually doesn’t know how to drive yet. The other ghouls assume that she already knows how to and Sunshine is just too proud to tell them that she doesn’t know how. So when she’s asked if she wants to drive she will just make up excuses of why the conditions aren’t right. But she does bring the best snacks.
“Oh I forgot my sunglasses and the sun is just too bright out for me to see”/ 10
Rain- Oh sweet little Rain. Rain is absolutely terrified of driving in traffic. On smaller back roads he does just find, but stick him on the 105 in the middle of rush hour, the ghoul will fold quicker than one of Primo’s old lawn chairs. He hates conflict and upsetting people, both of which are basically the ingredients of a traffic jam. Rain will just freeze up right there in the driver’s seat causing his passenger to have to lean over and take the wheel.
“I can’t do this anymore!!!”/ 10
Dewdrop- Dewdrop is a surprisingly good driver. He obeys the speed limit, makes sure whoever is in the car with him wears their seat belt and looks both ways before turning onto a different street. However, Dew doesn’t actually like to drive, so he came up with a plan. The one (and only) time he drove with Aether, Dew drove like a maniac so that he wouldn’t have to drive again. Rain is the only person that Dew will drive anywhere. Even though he won't admit it he has a soft spot for the younger ghoul.
“No Dew, you don’t have to drive”/ 10
Swiss - This ghoul is not allowed to drive. He often gets too distracted by the music or other cars or signs or… well you get the point. Swiss will offer to drive to give the current driver a break but is quickly met with a “no I’m good”. Swiss doesn’t really mind though, in all honestly he much rather be looking out the window or napping.
“SWISS! EYES ON THE ROAD!”/ 10
Mountain - As stated above Mountain is one of the better drivers. He is a pretty laid back guy so he doesn’t struggle with road rage. The only problem is his height. He will push the seat back as far as the car will allow him and sometimes that isn’t even enough. You better hope you’re not the one sitting behind him because you will have no leg room.
“I need to stretch my legs”/ 10
Aether - 85% of the time you will find Aether being the one to drive the other ghouls around. In fact he taught the other ghouls how to drive. Aether treats the road laws like they are a divine message. He is often the one who has to break up any squabbles between the ghouls during long trips. Aether will also lock the car five times before he finally feels like the car is truly locked.
“Don’t make me turn this car around!”/10
The Papas
Primo - As much as we all love Primo we have to face the facts- Primo drives like an old man. He’s not a bad driver but he is a slow one. The man insists that there is no reason for him to go above 50 km/h (30 mph). There is no budging him on this subject, so you might as well just sit back and try to distract yourself.
“We will get there when we get there”/ 10
Secondo - Secondo drives fast, like ‘buckle up and pray’ fast. The number of speeding tickets this man has gotten has now reached triple digits. Everyone in the clergy wonders how he even still has his license.
“But did you die?”/ 10
Terzo - NOT ALLOWED TO DRIVE. Terzo once drove his car through the front door of the church because it was “faster than walking”. Needless to say his driving privileges were promptly taken away by the clergy.
Not even allowed to touch car keys/ 10
Copia - Copia is actually a pretty good driver and his skills have only gotten better. He has a lot of experience from driving Nihil and Sister Imperator around back when he was a Cardinol. Copia really enjoys going out for relaxing drives on his day off since it allows him to get some time with his thoughts.
Grace Kelly in a convertible vibes/ 10
Nihil - Also drives like an old man but very poorly. Nihil often runs into curbs, bushes, and anything else that is unfortunate enough to reside beside the road. The man is (was) practically blind so everyone is sure that his driver’s license expired about 20 years ago and he hasn’t updated it.
“Who put that there?”/ 10

Has there ever been a non-replica production that had great sketch-to-costume interpretation in your opinion? The Greek revival costumes look so different from the Greek premiere/Norwegian revival ones.
Good question. To be brutally honest I'm not really loving most of the costumes in non-replica productions. I find most of them too modern or low-key (Serbia, Finland/Sweden), or too jarring (Bulgaria, Estonia). So many of them intentionally do another era than the 1880s, which I have a hard time getting on board with, and for the majority of them I never saw the costume designs anyway.
Of those I've seen some costumes designs from - largely Norway/Greece, Czech Republic, Hungary and Sydney Harbour - I tend to like the costume designs more than the actual stage costumes. Being sketches, they can of course to edgier silhouettes and more details. but the beauty of the actual costumes is that they can play with fabrics, trims, drapes and beading and make the look rich and sculpted. And for some reason I often think this does not happen.
OK... Gabriela Tylesova's design for Sydney Harbour. She went for fairly clean hoop skirt looks for Christine. To create some drama - especially for such a big outdoor arena - it would be cool if they did the finished costumes larger-than-life, like in the design. A more exaggerated off-shoulder look , a pointier bodice, a bigger skirt, more frills and details on the wedding dress underneath. A big fat Aminta rose in her hair. PIMP IT!
Tumblr media
And yeah, the aforementioned wedding dress, which was worn under the Aminta dress in PONR... It needs something more. Surface, depth, defined skirt hem, and this too would have been cool with a more exaggerated off-shoulder look and longer bodice. It looked like the white fundaments to a hoop dress on stage, more than an actual costume. Zooming in on backstage photos do reveal more details, but in that giant arena they need twice as much going on for it to be visible.
But there's also costumes I think turned out wonderfully in the Sydney Harbour production, like all the ballerina costumes, Christine's dressing gown, and Raoul's Hussar costume. Here's the latter! It has drama, details, funk. Perfection.
Tumblr media
In general I liked how the costumes turned out in the first act and the Masquerade costumes, while the majority of the second act looks a bit more... rushed? So Sydney Harbour is a 50/50 affaire for me. (but I loooooooooved the sets)
Norway/Greece... I liked the way Andrew Riley pimped his costume design for the Norwegian premiere, with many new costume designs much changed from the Romanian premiere some years prior. But I don't always think the costumes was faithfully recreated from the designs. The silhouettes were - as in Sydney Harbour - smaller and straighter than the costume designs, and details often left out.
Take Christine's Elissa costume, which is large and dramatic and draped in the design. In the stage costume the drape was reduced to a minimum, and both skirt and skirt hem a lot smaller. There's also less relation between the bodice and skirt, which in the design has a golden neckline and choker, while the gold is almost gone from the stage costume. It makes it seem like the bodice and skirt is not really related.
Tumblr media
This went for a lot of the costumes of the leads. Cool details in the designs, a bit lost in the finished costumes. It also went for a wonderful ensemble costume in Masquerade, where the design shows different board games, while the finished costume just sports different black and white patterns decorated with gold. Missed opportunity, dude!
On the other hand, I think Christine's Masquerade Angel costume turned out better than the design, with its richer bodice and three-tiered skirt. It was more defined and more glittering. And this meant Andrew Riley re-did the costume design for the Greek revival in 2023, closer resembling the stage costume. Which is pretty cool, and a testament to the skills of the costume maker.
Tumblr media
The Phantom's Red Death costume in this production is also a good example of a cool transition from design to costume. So Norway/Greece is another 50/50 hit and miss for me. And no, I don't really like the new Greek costumes. They have weird silhouettes and underwhelming details. I'm actually quite disappointed. And again, this goes for the actual stage costumes and not the designs.
A production I think has a funky and successful transition from design to costume, but which interestingly often depart a bit from the design, is Roman Solc's design for the Czech production. For example the Red Death:
Tumblr media
And the Hannibal Slavegirl costumes:
Tumblr media
But what the stage costumes do, which I like a lot, is to keep the exagerrated lines, bold colours and ornate surfaces. So in many ways I see this as one of the best design to costume transitions, even if the stage costumes doesn't reflect 100% on the designs. But I think they reflect on its style and impact, if that makes sense. Which I also realize is a bit hypocritical, as I often critize costumes that depart too much from the design... But there ya go.
Speaking of which... I have always been absolutely gaga over Nelly Vagó's design for the Hungarian production, the first non-replica production. She has a style that reminds of Maria Bjørnson, and also sticking close to Bjørnson's choice of colours, but still adding a dash of her own flair to it. It's high drama and beauty. And then... I frankly don't think one single of the designs was translated well onto stage. And it makes me so sad. It makes me so sad to think of what the costumes could and should have been.
Christine's Elissa costume, with its ballet-like bell shaped skirt with drapes and bodice with tabs and peacock-like decorations... Does not look like that on stage. It looks lumpy. I can kinda tell it's the same costume, but I'm not loving it.
Tumblr media
Same with the dressing gown - feather light, flowing and poetic in the design, a not-super-becoming stiff bodice and hip flounce in the stage costume. It looks so heavy in comparison.
Tumblr media
So yeah. I think Nelly Vagó's costume design is stellar, and I do think that the Hungarian costumes works well on stage. Which of course is what matters. But imagine Vagó's actual costume design on stage! Oh my. Ironically I think Roman Solc's design is more different from the stage costumes as such, but they managed to transform his larger-than-life expression into the costumes, and I appreciate that a lot.
The Norwegian/Greek costumes have nice designs and many nice stage costumes, but there I wish they managed to incorporate more of Andrew Riley's ideas from the costume sketches. They have many good details and shapes which never made it to the stage. Same for Gabriela Tylesova's design for the Sydney Harbour production. And those are the ones I've seen the costume design for. It might be that some of the other non-replica productions has super good design-to-costume details, but as long as I have only seen the finished stage costumes it is impossible for me to tell.
Thank you for coming to my TED Talk! :D

Kara copes after the phantom zone by flying toward the edge of space and inches above the ground
////
The boundary between Earth and space is only 62 miles away. 100 kilometers. It's only an inch in a cosmic perspective — still within the pull of Eather's gravity, still within the bounds of its atmosphere, but as Kara stretches herself as far into as she can, soaring alongside the curvature of the horizon, 10 kilometers then 50, it feels lightyears away.
Kara closes her eyes, tilts her head back, and lets the sun wash over her face unimpeded. She takes a deep breath and exhales slowly. The little pressure remaining around her rushing in to fill her lungs. And despite the lack of air, despite the cold. There is a warmth that feels familiar in the airglow of Earth's silhouette, and there is an ease to breathing here she can't explain the science of. She opens her eyes and looks up, past the blue of the sky, to the black beyond.
Her heart is a paradox. Beating calm and steady here when it still fights against every shadow in her mind. But it's a different kind of nothingness here than where she's only just come back from, where she too easily returns when she closes her eyes at night. She finally finds in the vastness of space some capability of letting go of the darkness she found in the phantom zone. Replacing it with a more familiar inky black dotted by the glimmer of stars and galaxies she's come to call home. And she stays longer than she should, longer than she said she would, but it's worth it when she can feel the lightness of her heart when her feet finally touch down again.
She ducks back into her apartment, the blue light of the Earth's edge replaced by the orange hues of a late October evening.
She finds Lena waiting for her, just like she said she would be.
"Hey," Kara says, a smile touching the edges of her lips at the sight of her curled against the corner of her couch.
"Hey," Lena replies, untucking her legs from underneath her and placing the book she had been reading on the table beside her. "You were gone a while."
"I know. I'm sorry." Kara drops her head a little, hands twisting in the fabric of her cape.
"It's okay." Lena says getting up and walking over to where Kara is still standing just inside the window, stilling Kara's movements gently " I understand," and pulling her a little closer, lacing their fingers together, "I'm just glad you're home now."
Kara lets out a deep breath, "I missed you," her heart feeling even lighter with Lena in front of her.
"Maybe you'll take me with you next time."
Kara contemplates the thought, the feeling warm in her chest when she thinks of what it would be like to show Lena the world in her arms like that.
"We'd have to get you a suit." Kara smiles.
"Oh, I think I could manage," Lena replies with a smirk.
"And I'd have to teach you how to fly," Kara jokes, "I mean, you can't just go to space without knowing how to fly."
"How about now?" Lena says, her smirk turning into a full-blown grin.
"We-well, I mean, if..." Kara stumbles a little, her hand rubbing along the base of her neck and crinkle appearing between her brow.
But Lena just laughs, pulling Kara's hand back down and holding it once more, "relax darling, I was just joking."
"Oh," Kara replies, a faint blush coloring her cheeks.
She looks down at their hands still connected, her feet shifting side to side.
"There is something I could show you now if you'd like," her voice a little hesitant.
And this time, it's Lena who stumbles, "oh-I."
"w-we would just stay right here," Kara quickly adds, not wanting it to seem like too much.
Lena nods and squeezes her hand, "alright then."
"Can you step up?" Kara asks, holding her hands out.
"Step up?"
"Yeah, onto my boots."
Comprehension quickly dawns on Lena's face, along with a smile, and she does as Kara asks.
Once Lena is settled, Kara's hands fall to her waist, pulling her in just a little closer.
"Hold on for me, okay?"
"Okay."
Lena nods, bringing her arms up to wrap around Kara's shoulders.
Carefully, Kara starts to rise into the air, making sure Lena is still holding on even though they aren't really going anywhere.
"You're doing great." Kara says, looking down at her, "Just a couple tens of thousands of more feet to go, and we'll be all set."
A soft laugh escapes Lena's lips, and she looks up at Kara, pressing up onto Kara's boot until she's standing on her toes, lips pressing against Kara's cheek.
"I trust you." She whispers.

WiJ 2023 - 01: Introduce Yourself
WiJ 2023 Navigation Post
(I'll put my favourite tropes under the cut because this post is getting a bit long, oops lol)
Re-Introduction
I've been in the Tumblr whump community for a couple of years now, but hello and welcome to everyone both old and new to my blog! I'm emc, and I'm an Australian writer and artist specialising in the bloodthirsty subject matter we all love here on whumpblr! I mostly reblog at this stage, but I love to participate in community events, and have plenty in the works :)
I create original whump works. I'm only in one fandom, Danny Phantom, so I will occasionally reblog stuff from there.
Project Updates!
I'm completely, totally obsessed by one singular whumpee... so everything I work on centers around him... lol
Anyways, so, it turns out that SP multiplied...
Shifting Phases - This is gonna be a loooooong fic lol, but! I'm making good progress, and I've managed to stay inspired and motivated for +6 years, so you can count on it getting finished, no matter how long it takes :)
10 of 59 chapters are drafted, one of which is pending review,
8 of the remaining 50 chapters are in progress,
The word-count as of writing this post is 23.5k.
I'm sure a few of you have followed for this fic/pieces of the boi, and I think about that constantly especially since it's still a major wip lol ^-^' Not worry, I will not rush uwu
I'll link the masterpost of it though because I keep it updated with my progress, and also any good snippets I write :)
Full Moon Waning - Because I'm horrible and have so many thoughts all the time, I've actually started planning this; the sequel to Shifting Phases! I think I have some cool whump ideas, and it provides another chance to explore the worldbuilding and character backstories, so I think it has a lot to offer and will be fun to write :)
Plotting; jotting down vague ideas and arranging them in a semi-coherent order.
Eclipse Descending (AU) - Oh this one is incredibly fun and fucked up, and somehow manages to be SO much darker in which Pete falls down a terrible path and becomes a hunter. It goes about as well as you'd expect lol. I explained the premise to a friend and she wondered, since it was so compelling, why it wasn't canon, and man, that's a fun thing to hear. It also means it's gonna be an absolute behemoth...
Plotting and detailing scenes simultaneously.
Caesar Salad (AU) - Remember how I said I wanted to stab my whumpee during the Ides of March? Guess which concept got WAY out of hand XD It will be a much shorter fic, but it's still a major project. It's an alternate secret reveal, so, it's an AU.
Detailing the scenes while trying desperately to come up with a resolution ^-^'
Anything Else? - Yep! I have a few other little scene/whump ideas that I'll eventually write out, but for now, I just keep them stored in a little au/idea doc. I'm still also working slowly on my BTHB card, and also the gift and several treats for the exchange I mentioned earlier, but I shan't be spoiling those :)
Favourite Tropes
Those of you who've been around me/know me will find that I am indeed very consistent XD Some of my favourite tropes include:
Bad caretaker/s
Collapse
Compromised mobility
Dehumanisation and animalisation
Domestic abuse
Emotional whump
Environmental whump
Hyper/hypothermia
Long-term injuries and scars
Near-death of the whumpee
Nightmares/Night terrors
Nonhuman whumpees (usually vampires, demons... and especially mer)
Panic attacks
PTSD
Restraints, especially creative ones
Secret angst-- whumpee having to keep their species/identity secret for their personal safety, and because they fear they'll be rejected by the ones they love most
Severe sickness
Species-specific whump
Starvation
Transformation whump
... and so many more...! Also, caretakers and whumpers are not necessary for me to enjoy the whump ^-^

Hey, how you don't mind anonymous asks! What are your thoughts on the new dlc for cyberpunk?
I loved the game but I didn't get too far in, but seeing the trailer it looks really cool. What did they change and what do you like about it?
Hey!
First off I absolutely love anonymous asks, I wish ppl would send me them more often cause I have lots of thoughts on stuff but no idea if anyone cares.
But to your main question, I haven't gotten to far into the DLC itself so I still have much to experience, but I'll try to give a quick rundown of what I understand to have changed/been added with Phantom Liberty and with patch 2.0. This will get long so I put it under the jump to not annoy my followers that don't care.
So let me just start by linking you to the patch 2.0 notes. There's definitely a lot there, more than I'm gonna get across here, so if you have the time check it out. I'm just gonna hit the highlights that I've noticed.
For the patch the biggest thing I've noticed is the big thing they kinda want you to notice and that's the new progression/perk system. Lvling up is a lot faster now (and if you have Phantom Liberty the lvl cap has increased from 50 to 60) and the perks have completely. At first glance I wasn't sure I was a fan of it, but having played through it now the changes to perks is great. It truly makes V feel more dynamic in combat with new skills and makes the builds for V (if you're into that) feel more powerful than before. At the same time the enemies have also gotten their AI revamped and they use more grenades and netrunning skills now. It makes combat overall just more fun and rewarding. The loot is more meaningful as well as they don't just drop things for the sake of dropping something.
Speaking of loot though armor is no longer tied to clothes, but to cyberware. Which is smart cause honestly I didn't care about cyberware at all before 2.0 and now I'm all about it. Plus cyberware has this "attuned" feature where it can help boost your attribute stats as well so cyberware can not only help armor, but the attribute if you attune it well. And there's perks to make your cyberware even more powerful. Still no cyberpsychosis, but they have a fury mode which is apparently like cyberpsychosis lite lol
Anyway there's way more with 2.0, but you were asking about Phantom Liberty. Like I said I am a bit into Phantom Liberty so I haven't experienced a ton yet, mostly just the main story. As far as I can tell though PL doesn't bring too many changes, the changes are mostly in the 2.0 patch. PL brings more additions to the game.
Within minutes of getting to Dogtown I found many new weapons and clothes just to start and I believe there's new cars and cyberware as well. They promoted it all as 100+ new items so there's plenty new to see for sure.
I know there's some new gigs, I forget how many. There's also a new ongoing endless type mission called an "airdrop mission" where basically some supply drop happens and then you rush to the supply drop, kill some ppl, and get the supply drop which will have unique and powerful stuff (weapons or cyberware it seems).
That's about all I can really think off the top of my head, there's plenty of youtube and articles that go more in depth than I have. In terms of what I like about it again barely scratching the surface of the story so far, but the main story is meant to be a take on spy thriller type stories and they are absolutely nailing that vibe for sure. I have fought one boss so far and while the boss style itself isn't unique to video games, it is unique to Cyberpunk 2077 and it was a ton of fun to fight.
I know many ppl still don't trust CDPR to do Cyberpunk 2077 justice, and it still isn't what we initially promised in many ways, but at this point it is a better game than when it launched so I applaud CDPR for not just taking the money and running (as some companies do). Hopefully the sequel can build better for a launch a game like this deserves and bring in some of the ideas and ambitions they have for this world.
For now though? If you like open world action RPG games, I can't recommend Cyberpunk 2077 enough.

My WIPs (or at least the ones I can remember)
Portal:
"Opera Beneath Aperture": Where the Geekenders version is vaudeville, mine is more pop-opera in the style of "Phantom" or "Wicked". Basically just remixing the soundtrack and adding lyrics. There will be comedy, but at the end of the day, playing the melodrama of "Portal 2" straight is just easier. (Progress 30%)
"Rat Race": An homage to the US "The Office", but one by one the characters are axed off as Aperture becomes a more and more dystopian place to work. (Progress 10%)
"Portrait of a Lady: A Romanticized Horror": Prequel character-study on Caroline, obviously. She's preppy like Kim, but being born in the 1930's she's more sexually repressed, and therefore even more of a manic-pixie-nightmare-girl. She blacks out and murders her gynecologist for malpractice in Chapter 3; yeah it's that kind of a story. Also she's pretty racist? To the extent that any person from that era running a dystopian secessionist megacorporation would have to be. (Progress 50%)
Better Call Saul:
"Sheepdog": A traumatic event causes Kim to question the nature of her own reality. We the fans love Kim... but we do not respect her. (Progress 50%)
"Slippin Kimmy": This is my SERIOUS entry for what I think should happen next in the story. Basically a lot of white-hat Heisenberging around. She stops a shooting at a Planned Parenthood in episode 2; yeah it's that kind of a story. If that's what "WYCARO" ends up being, I'll be happy. If not? Hey it's free money, Vince. I'll just leave it on the table 'til you're done being done again. (Progress 5%)
"Last Clear Chance Doctrine": In 6x05 Jimmy calls Kim to say he's going to be late; Howard wants to fight him in the ring. Kim says she'll be right over. (Progress 0%)
"Just Take the Money": Parallel "Breaking Bad" timeline, where Walt accepts Eliot's hand-out. It'll make you wish he had stuck to cooking meth. I'm probably going to include a subplot where Saul bangs Skyler cus it makes me smile. (Progress 0%)
Crossovers/Other:
Steven Universe: "Warp Congestion": Steven figures out how to remove his gem and live as a normal human for extended periods of time. And if you think this sounds like a contrivance to write Rose Quartz back into the story... it is! Pearl was supposed to hold onto the gem for the day, but as the administrative headaches of helping to keep Little Homeworld organized pile up, Rainbow Quartz starts to revert back to v 1.0. (Progress 5%)
Steven Universe: "Roughhousing": You ever have those moments with your spouse, where one minute you're joking around and everything seems fine, and then one little comment gets taken wrong and suddenly everything gets a bit ugly? Even Ruby and Sapphire have those moments. And it made for one hell of a night at Beach City Underground Wrestling. (Progress 100%... but it's in the format of a Torts practice exam. Yes really)
Barry: "A Plan for Sally": My OC, Rita, has been going around to various netflix shows and selling life-insurance and family planning policies to the love-interest characters in crime dramas. Well, Rita will call them "insurance policies"; what they really are are Faustian bargains. If you thought the ending to "Barry" was weird, rushed, or maybe even a little saccharine, Rita is why. (Progress 0%)
Midnight Mass: "The Girl Who Ate the World": Erin Greene wakes up lying in the grass to find herself - not just alive - but sparkling in the sun like a million little diamonds. It's a miracle! Second only to the bad-miracle of news that the Angel survived and is transforming people in the Portland subway system as we speak. Rita is in this one too. (Progress 50%)
"Crack Fic: Torts and Torts": Kim Wexler, Dolores Abernathy, and Love Quinn attend a mobwives convention in Napoli. After a few drinks, Kim and Love get into a tense conversation about dead brothers, and more specifically when/how a spouse is at-fault for the death of a brother-in-law. Kim forgets the argument after she sobers up, but Dolores warns her to watch her back. Sure enough, Love attacks Kim with a katana and they must battle it out as frenemies. (Progress 2%)
"300 Million Cowboys": I re-write Better Call Saul as a pulpy beach-read about vampires. With enough changes to the plot that it can be legally sold on Kindle. Kim is now named Jean Troy. Jimmy is now named Sammy McCormick. Mike and Chuck have been merged into one character. Kevin and Howard have been merged into one character. (Progress 2%)

For the 50 cliche tropes prompts! 5 and 39 with rosella and boybrush sounds like a fun one.
Rosella sat in the garden with her knees pulled up to her chin, she hugged her legs closed as she stared ahead at nothing in particular as she kept replaying the day over and over again in her head.
Today was… rather horrid, if she were to be perfectly honest.
The day started with her waking up late, feeling that phantom ache which decided today she wanted nothing more than to stay in bed, meaning she had to scramble out of said bed and further meant that she had no time to properly eat breakfast before her extensive lessons in all things royal (she always found that frustrating, she’s a princess, she shouldn’t have to worry about such things but her parents insisted that it didn’t look good, not as a monarch, but as a person, to be late to anything). The day then stumbled with her tutor being condescending to her when she ended up forgetting three rules as well as tripping during the proper procedure of how to bow. To add insult to injury, both her parents as well as Royal Guard Number One were too busy to talk to her. To let her vent.
Today was a horrible no good sour kind of day and all she wanted to do was hide in the bush forever… or until she no longer felt like sending daggers at anyone that looked her way.
She heard the sound of rustling and tensed up… while she was within the castle walls, being without a guard always had her feeling somewhat tense. Nervous. Rosella looked towards the source and braced herself for possibly a guard or a maid or butler to come and lecture her when instead a young boy with blond hair pushed aside the leaves of the bush, huffing.
“Geez, Rosella, you don’t make hide and seek easy.” Lucas huffed.
“Lucas!” She gasped.
For the first time today, she felt relieved that it was him and stood up, rushing over and hugging him tightly, feeling his arms around her and holding her close, followed by lightly patting her back.
“What are you doing here?” She asked.
“My parents came to do something with yours. What are you doing all the way out here?” He asked. “I thought you hated getting dirty.”
“Depends.” She let go, sitting back down. “Today I do not care.”
“Oh.” He looked around and joined her in sitting. “So… what are you doing here?”
“Sitting, minding my business.” Rosella shrugged, hugging her knees to her chest once more.
Lucas, in turn, frowned. “Did I say something to make you even more upset?”
“What?” Rosella looked at him. “No! No, you didn’t, I’m– no… you didn’t say anything wrong.” She paused, thinking, looking at him. “How’d you know I was upset?”
“You’re not normally this um… hidden? Also I think I know you well enough to know when you’re not happy.” He scratched his cheek. “You’re usually tackling me in the Throne Room when I come over.”
Does she do it so often that it became routine? Distantly, she could hear her tutor scoff how unlady-like that is. To tackle a guest is unheard of.
(Then again, befriending a pirate is also unheard of.)
She heard him sigh, picking at some blades of grass here and there. “Lucas, how do you deal with feeling… bad?”
“Um… usually I do things that cheer me up, maybe eat something cause it could be that I’m upset because I didn’t eat anything.” Lucas started listing off. “I know when my dad has a bad day, my mom braids his hair… that calms him.”
“Does she do that often?”
“No… said something about how he falls asleep and then she can’t get things done.”
Rosella scoffed at the image of the legendary Mighty Pirate snoozing out at sea.
“So what cheers you up, Rosella?” Lucas asked.
What cheered her up? Well, usually what cheered her up was within the castle walls, playing games and the such… but right now she didn’t want anything to do with the castle or its inhabitants.
“I wanna be left alone…”
“Oh.”
“But,” she continued, “can you stay here? I don’t… want to be alone-alone, you know?”
Lucas nodded, understanding entirely. “Alright, I can do that.”
She paused for a moment, playing with the fabric of her dress. It was a ridiculous request she was about to ask but, the more she thought about what Lucas said in regards to how his dad relaxed… maybe it could work for her. Maybe.
Rosella laid her head on his lap, her cheeks feeling a little red, but already she felt just a bit better, knowing that someone was here with her and not speaking down to her. She heard the startled gasp, ready to pull herself back up but instead… instead she felt fingers in her hair. Lucas picked a few strands of her hair and let it fall back down.
“Y’know,” he spoke, “I always wanted to try braiding hair… I’d braid my own but it’s not long enough to do one. Would it be alright if I braided yours?”
She nodded. “Sure, just make sure it looks absolutely royal.”
“Of course, your highness.” Lucas answered, undoubtedly rolling his eyes.
She smiled as she felt him grab some strands and start to braid. It felt clumsy and she heard him mutter under his breath, but it was still relaxing… nice. Pleasant. She enjoyed how there was some sense of contact after not having it for most of the day.
“Bad day?” Lucas asked.
“How…?”
“Pirate instinct.” He teased. “Or like I mentioned before, how I know you well enough.”
Rosella lightly elbowed him. “Stop reading me.”
“Stop being readable.”
“Lucas.”
“That is my name.”
Rosella sighed and tried turning her head as much as she could away while he was still braiding her hair, she didn’t want to smile. To laugh. But he knew all the right buttons to hit to get her back in a good mood. Especially during those phantom pains she’d feel. Especially during a day like today where she absolutely needed a friend now more than ever.
“So what happened?” He asked, more sincere as he started working on another part of her hair to braid.
“Everything went wrong today. From waking up to my tutoring.” Rosella spilled. “Nothing went right at all.”
“Oooh, so it really was a bad day. I’m sorry, that must have been terrible.”
“It did.”
“Was it the one with a rat nose?”
Rosella turned her head slightly, eyeing Lucas. “Rat nose?”
“Yeah, the snooty looking one? I saw a tutor walk by and his nose looked like this.” Lucas used one of his free hands to pinch his nose in such a way that it had Rosella burst out laughing. Lucas, however, gasped and tried to hold her head down, trying not to ruin his current work on her hair.
“Ha! Ha heh… Y-yeah, yeah it was rat-nose.” Rosella laughed, hearing Lucas laugh alongside her. Once the laughs subsided, she took a breath and continued resting her head on his lap, picking mindlessly some blades of grass while he worked. “Lucas?”
“Mm-hmm?”
“...thank you.” She mumbled.
“For what?”
“For being here. I needed this.”
“Oh ah… of course.” He answered. “Oh, this braid came out nice!”
Rosella smiled. Maybe the day wasn’t entirely terrible.

SPOILERS FOR TEARS OF THE KINGDOM
Ganondorf is easier to beat than Calamity Ganon.
So, I'm going to go through a rundown of both fights. Let's start with Calamity Ganon:
Ganon comes out of its cocoon and tries to fight Link. The divine beasts shoot their lasers and Ganon gets down to half health. The first part of the battle is easy, just hack and slash or shoot a ton of arrows. Ganon gets down to 1/4 health and makes a protective shield around itself. No damage can be done without flury rushes or perfect parries. You then go to probably the easiest phase 3 ever of Dark Beast Ganon. You have to hit 8 different places using the Master Sword's light beams, Ancient Arrows, or the Light Bow.
Calamity Ganon is easy. Not that hard. But then, here comes the Demon King. Ganondorf of Tears of the Kingdom.
The first phase just requires you to bring him down to half health, again easy to do with hack and slash or a bunch of arrows. Phase 2 begins. It's the same as before but now he has Phantom Ganondorfs all around (but don't worry, the 5 sages will distract the majority of them). Ganondorf reaches 0 hit points. He regenerates all his HP again +50% more than last time. But don't worry, it's exactly like phase 1 again. But he can dodge you. It's okay, just keep at it. He'll steal like 3 of your hearts but whatever, if you've only done the main quest you'd have 7 hearts left. Finally, phase 4. He turns into a dragon and like Dark Beast Ganon, this is the easiest thing. Except instead of 8 places you need to hit, it's now 5.
Now, I know that Ganondorf has more HP than Calamity Ganon, but it take like 5 minutes to defeat him. (Not kidding, I actually used a timer) whereas Calamity Ganon takes about 10 minutes simply because of its shield and forced wait times between Zelda making Dark Beast Ganon's weak spots show. Calamity Ganon also has a bigger attack area around it and elemental attacks. Ganondorf just has his weapon that shape shifts into other weapons. Absolutely no elemental damage or shield.

on one hand my new Fediel full auto team is incredibly consistent (and is on the verge of doing too much damage actually, though it's not really that much of an issue) but it is incredibly funny that I stumbled onto it because I was trying to show my friends how I did the raid back when I was incredibly weak and found out that I did far too much damage to have everything up in time.
No better way of realizing how much you've grown than when old strats fail because you've gotten too strong. (FYI I was using a Relic Buster-Feather-Cagliostrio-Io Set up, because Io cannon was the only method I had of clearing the 40% trigger, and I did not have Pecorine yet.) I had tried to change to a Monk-Cosmos-Cag-Io set up, only to realize that even with blocking every turn after 50% Mantra would get it to 40% before 5 or so turns had passed. Which was annoying at the time, but led me to actually trying a new set up.
Monk/Cosmos/Makura/Mugen with Vira and Feather in the backline. Mugen would ofc sub for Makura, so she remained invulnerable while she was out, and Vira would tank the 70% and 40% trigger (if 70% didn't get cancelled, which it usually did). HP reduction is not an issue; by the time Cosmos dies (if she even does), Fediel dies the very next turn. Mugen does not die (3 turns of undying is busted when you're rushing down a boss like this) and thus Makura never takes damage either. Cool.
All I did was add two Exo fists (one attack, one special) and a phantom fangs, and suddenly this team full autos Fediel with no issue. I've definitely been sleeping on skill damage, huh?

So I think I’m at the end of the Sonic Frontiers story, so next time I play it’s just a matter of going around and getting the other achievements I need. Stuff like doing all the portal missions, completing the final map, defeating all guardians (dreading this cuz there are some I just can’t get to grips with), doing Phantom Rush 50 times (idk how cuz my power is now maxed), and whatever else I’m forgetting about.
Worst case I have to do stuff like the Phantom Rush one on a new save.
