Remember that one angsty "comic" I made for Dark Choco and Berserk Dark Cacao?

Well whether you do or you don't, I may have another concept similar to that.

So basically the plot is that Dark Cacao turns into his Berserk form WAY early in the story than in Canon. (Like before the main story even begins, but after Dark Choco is banished). This (rightly so) freaks everyone in the Dark Cacao Kingdom. No-one can figure how he turned into this form or how to turn him back into normal. And since Dark Cacao is just in a blind rage, destroying anything he sees, any Cookie that hasn't been crumbled by the Berserk king has fled the Kingdom, basically making the Dark Cacao Kingdom a ghost town, minus for a couple of animals and the Licorice Sea.

Speaking of the Licorice Sea, cue act 2!

Since the Dark Cacao Kingdom is no longer inhabited by Cookies (minus you know who), some of the Licorice Oozelings have been playing around, transforming themself into mini version of Cookies. Though the mainly been taking the form of Dark Choco, cause wouldn't you believe it, Dark Choco's portrait is still intact!

(What I'm referring to):

Some of the Licorice Oozelings noticed a pattern in the castle. Non of Dark Choco's stuff has been destroyed by Berserk Dark Cacao. And sometimes while the Licorice Oozelings are sneaking by Dark Cacao, they noticed him just staring at any picture that has Dark Choco in if. So the Licorice Oozelings come to the conclusion that Dark Cacao misses his son. (And since these little guys actually care about Cookies unlike their brethren) They decided to somewhat fuse together in order to take the form of Dark Choco.

"Wait a minute, couldn't the Licorice Oozelings already do that without them fusing? Why do they need to fuse now?" To make themselves the size of a regular Cookie to make their "disguise" believable. And they can un-fuse anytime.

So the Licorice Oozelings, now transformed as Dark Choco, approached Dark Cacao. Dark Cacao notices them, and he actually believes that's his son. He hugs "Dark Choco" and just starts sobbing and is saying words like "I'm sorry" and such in his distorted voice. "Dark Choco" comforts their "father" (Despite the Licorice Oozelings not knowing what Dark Cacao or the actual Dark Choco did.)

And that's all from me for now. Did any of that make sense? Probably not since I suck ass with explaining things. But hey, I have more shitty angsty comic material now.

Despite being big and looks really treatning, he never wants to harm anyone (unless you treatened to destroy his homeland)

He'll try to help anyone, only moving slightly on objects, he don't want to fully letivate stuffs cuz he don't wanna scare anyone, he'll also try to protect to the people he hurt back when he was alive as an apology

He really regret trying to find the cursed sword, he's kinda jealous on others that had a happy life like he had before, and he really wish he could go adventures with them

I was listening to the ‘Moana but she’s a villain song’ again. And then I thought.

Hmm…wanna make the curse more intense? (Aka the Strawberry Jam Sword curse)

And then I placed this in Ghosts of Our Pasts. Slightly inspired by @boneasin’s idea.

So I was like, what if Dark Choco was neglected, but the curse overdid what actually happened and whatever memory that was more intense than what Dark Cacao actually did was Dark Choco seeing a memory from Dark Cacao’s eyes.

Cause like, Dark Cacao’s father in this Au is shitty as hell, leaving his own son to die in the woods by wolves.

So basically Dark Choco thought he was intensely neglected or Dark Cacao was just, emotionally unavailable every day, but in actuality, the neglect wasn’t as intense, what the curse is doing is making Dark Choco remember DARK CACAO’S MEMORIES.

The only reason he begun doubting it is because he was definitely sure his father never physically abused him, one memory affirmed this when he remembered being thrown across a room and getting his face cracked. And he definitely doesn’t remember his father’s eyes being red.

I was inspired by @somegaybones post over here, decided to try and gather up some various Cookie Biology ideas.

do to discussion of speculative biology, and the potential triggers related to that, I'm putting this under a readmore.

Various Known Things:

-All cookies contain Jam, with jam acting as a replacement for blood. However we also have an idiom using syrup (“you can cover icing, but you can’t hide syrup”) which might imply that there are different blood types for different cookies. With Strawberry Jams being the most common, but other flavors/syrups might exist. 

-Cookies don’t have bones, but in Ovenbreak Dr. Bones exists. Also whenever they revivs anyone they show up with little cartoon skeletons. It’s probably just meant to be a fun visual gag. Still, Rye Cookie is shown to have little Dough Teeth, and Capsaicin has a lot of small, sharp pointy teeth. So it’s possible that cookies have a dough skeleton that crumbles with the rest of them, replacing what would be bone. (Capsaicin’s teeth may be in reference to Pepper Seeds, one of the the hottest parts of a pepper. )

-Cookies canonically have souls/spirits/ghosts. Some cookies even are ghosts/spirits.

-Cookies are all inherently magical, but not every cookie can cast magic. Magic seams to have some sort of genetic component tied to it. There is some Magic that most wizards can use, such as Flight, and very specific magic tied to the cookie. For example, The Paladins all have light magic, and apparently this is a physical part of their dough, as Strawberry Crepe detected it In Madeleine.

-on that last note a cookie’s dough can contain abstract things like ‘Convincingness ‘ in their dough, as a physical detectable object.

-Cookies are bald. Their hair is actually Cream, and that cream can be dyed. (Espresso, Almond cookie, and Dark Choco Cookie all were explicitly stated to have dyed hair. ) 

-Cookie reproduction exists. In ovenbreak they all escaped from the oven. However there are definitely cookies with parents/family linages. 

-Cookies can scar, and 'healing flour' was mentioned at one point.
