“ Can’t you just, I dunno, use a ouija board like the rest of us? ” He can’t say he was fully convinced. Welp, they were already there. What better way to get a ghost to show themself than to really piss them off? “ Okay fine, but I better not have a hostile spirit follow me home tonight. ”

BONK!  There goes a gentle bonk of some gigantic, unnamed golden troupe knocked down onto the poor kid’s head via his paranormal investigator mentor lightly using it to metaphorically swat away Spencer’s suggestion.  From the huge literal treasure trove they managed to find in the basement of this haunted mansion, you’d think this odd ghost would have better security with guarding their secret treasures by now.  “Ah, hush with that nonsense!”  Vivi scolded.  “I told ya those things bring more trouble than they’re worth over their five dollar price tag.”

“Besides, you don’t even have enough experience on dealing with Satan and his dumb minions!”  She quickly added as she tossed the shiny troupe back into a large pile of coins.  “We’re not trying to put this section of the West under another world domination again.  I’m not allowing ya to make my mistake twice.”

As she spoke, she was harshly chipping away at all the golden coins that littered the floor.  A bit of gold was easy to find in this place, and she was looking to find an OLD item that had some real value.  From the itching scratching of coins grinding against one another, with all the noise they were making, you’d think it would stir the spirit that lived here to wake up a little.  Well, it seems like either this ghost was a heavy sleeper or this entire case might’ve been a bust.

“Anyways, since I brought ya on this mission, I thought it might be a chance to see how ya can deal with these guys anyhow.”  She said.  “These ol’ spirits tend to sleep for too long if they ain’t disturbed.  This one’s been creating enough trouble for the locals as it is.”
