I’m actually pretty familiar with the series! I’ve seen full on-in for 1- in fact Leon Kuwata is one of my blorbos. I haven’t like....RPed him in a hot minute. I haven’t consumed 2 and 3 personally, but two of my lifelong besties are full on into the series, so i’ve actually got the gist pretty well~

unfortunately, DR is one of those things like homestuck where i’m in it for the characters. So an anime is the best way for me to catch up, but I’m the kind of guy who can and will ignore your hungry-games-simitator muse thingies, horror just kinda bores me when the killing is permanent. Death doesn’t shock me, just disappoints me.

DR has a well crafted story tho, i’ll give it that~ I like it, but more for the details than the overarching plot (not rlly overtly interested in writing Everybody Dies.)

His orange-eyed gaze darted back and forth, from the WIND RING in his hand to the gorge ahead — which, much to KLONOA’S horror, was bringing him to a dead end. The awaiting incline would be too steep for him to leap over, especially without something to latch onto! He grinds to a halt a few feet from the wall’s edge, and finally, turns to face the beast that had been chasing him.

𝟎𝟑. 𝐙𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐀𝐂 𝐒𝐈𝐆𝐍 : Aries.

𝟎𝟒. 𝐇𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 : 5′11″ and a half last time I was checked, but that was a while ago. Maybe I finally gained that extra half an inch and achieved true tall person power 👀

𝟎𝟓. 𝐇𝐎𝐁𝐁𝐈𝐄𝐒 : Just writing, singing, and gaming, really. Been playing through Breath of the Wild again for the six hundredth time, Splatoon and Smash have both been played to death but I still love them, and I’ve been diving into a recently released game called OlliOlli World. It’s pretty fun, has that easy to play, hard to master energy to it.

𝟎𝟔. 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑 : Dark blues. Your navies and royals and whatnot.

𝟎𝟕. 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐁𝐎𝐎𝐊 : Oh man I haven’t read a book in a long time. If comic books count, it still has to be the Calvin and Hobbes collection books. Takes one look at my mun faceclaim to figure out why. And if I had to pick one in particular?? I don’t remember exactly what comics are in each collection book, but looking at the covers, The Days are Just Packed elicits the most nostalgia.

𝟎𝟖. 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃 : Beef and rice with soy sauce. You put some beef in a slow cooker overnight until that stuff is so tender you don’t even gotta bite it. Tear it up into strips and spread it over some white rice with soy sauce. Mom makes it for me whenever I visit and dude? Dude.

𝟎𝟗. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐌 / 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖 : The Cuphead Show! Didn’t know it was on Netflix already so I watched some of it. It’s immediately so charming. And for second to last show just because I wanna, The Legends of Vox Machina. 

𝟏𝟎. 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : For me personally, I listen to music to get inspired. Having something to listen to that sets the mood for the thread I’m trying to write is my go-to. Or if not that, I’ll simply put something on so that I have a chill atmosphere to brainstorm about how I’m going to write something up.

For Rosalina herself? There’s a lot of Rose Quarts and Pink Diamond in there for sure. A whole lot of Doctor Who is in there, as well, particularly the 10th and 11th Doctors. The magical, enchanting vibes of Peter Pan are things I try to provoke too. As well as general Disney whimsy, now that I’m thinking about it. 

𝟏𝟏. 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐔𝐑𝐋 : pokes my brain. I think my friend came up with my url for Rosalina? I can never remember if he did or if I did. But either way, it’s a portmanteau of cosmos and mother, nothing more nothing less. I really like the ring of it though, I’m usually not crazy about my urls but I love cosmcther. bonus points because the second ‘c’ can be seen as a crescent moon c:

The large Bird Wyvern blinked its big eyes as it spotted something moving off through the brush.  Folding its wings against its body, the Pukei-Pukei would move through the dense forest foliage as it made its way towards the sound and movement.

Other than that, I enjoy writing and storytelling in general!

Should really read the rest of that canon.

𝟎𝟖. 𝐅𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐎𝐃 : A good cheeseburger. Five Guys and In n’ Out immediately come to mind. Pre-pandemic there was a local burger place that I would kill to eat at again, but they closed down. I’m still sad about that.

𝟎𝟗. 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐋𝐌 / 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖 : Fuck, uh, Witcher Season 2 I think? At least to completion, Aura and I probably started something else we didn’t finish afterwards. We’ve fallen off watching things hard recently, and I can really only watch TV with her KAJBCKASX.

𝟏𝟎. 𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 : There’s a lot of answers to this, but the original, truest inspiration for me to start writing was actually my 7th grade English teacher. Our first essay was a narrative one, and I wrote a big essay about how I got in trouble for throwing rocks out of our backyard (true story!), and she just loved every word of it. I failed my way out of the honors program back then, but she always hyped be up and encouraged I do more writing. The very next year, Aura and I began our shitty self-insert Pokemon fanfiction, and it all snowballed into my 7-year old Mega Man RP blog KAJBSCBAKSX.

𝟏𝟏. 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐁𝐄𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐔𝐑𝐋 : It’s based on a song from The Megas, a band that does lyrical adaptations of Mega Man (and Castlevania, recently) songs. The song in question is Continue. It’s a great listen, as is the rest of their discography across both games; there’s only one song from them I actively dislike. I recommend them!
