I've finally finished my Danganronpa AU personal project! I personally call it

DANGANRONPA: DEMIX

And yeah, all the swaps as you can see above, and these guys in the middle are the replacements for Monokuma and Usami respectively:

Finally finished my personal AU project. I hope it's to everyone's liking!

I can go on forever about these designs but I'll limit myself to one-two sentences on some facts about the designs.

Mikan: Mikan's face tattoo was commissioned on her against her will so that she can never hide her nature as a Yakuza, but her leg tattoo was done on purpose, and she and Nagito have matching tattoos on their legs, his is just hidden most the time.

Nagito: He is usually seen with a spear and prefers the weapon over the sword, but he is more famous for his natural skill with the blade. That said, he resents the blade and wishes he could be recognized for the things he actually works hard to do, like throwing spears or protecting Mikan and her family.

Ibuki: I kept her design very similar to her base design because she pretty much just looks like a student, and I don't want to change anyone's personality so there's no reason for her to not get highlights. But I gave her some more symmetry in this design and gave her a cute little semi ahoge I guess with a hair tie, bc she doesn't naturally have one.

Imposter/Gamemaster: Yeah I made the big brain choice to keep him with his colors as "Byakuya" because it made for a more striking visual, and more recognizeable as the impostor. Also I made him too tall because I wanted to give him big legs lol.

Hiyoko: Her four cats are named Heart (scraggly cat), Mr. Pearls (sleepy cat), Big Red (Giant cat), and BB (black cat) bc canonically the four dark devas are named after shonen manga, I named her cats after pokemon games, which she canonically likes playing. Also chickens are her favorite animal, despite her love of cats.

Kazuichi: Kazuichi's not a natural born prince, through shenanigans it turns out he's extremely distantly related to some royal line in a microstate north of germany called "Nordsumpf." Their main exports are cars and Kazuichi is still new to being a prince.

"Kyoko": She'd try her best to act like Kyoko, but she's a little too meek and openy affectionate to pull it off properly. Also her knockers are way bigger than Kyoko's, so there's an immediate discrepancy to the trained eye.

Also in my au of DR1, Kyoko is the ultimate affluent progeny and Makoto is author/serial killer.

Hajime: His hair is actually extremely long back there, he just keeps it tied up. On shows he lets it all out and a wears red contacts, his stage name is "Izuru."

Sonia: Sonia became a team manager because she was escaping an assasination attempt, strolled into a junior laegue soccer game, took over for the coach and started just barking orders and the team won. They were the worst team in the whole league and after that she just sorta stuck around them and won them the championships.

Gundham: Gundham was orginally meant to wear the japanese flag… but there was too much white in his design so I cut it. He has names for all of his gymnast moves and he announces them very loudly when he does any of them.

Peko: I tried to give Peko a unique sort of "zombie survivor" kinda vibe so while she's clearly a mechanic first she can also just fucking kill you by braining you with that monkey wrench. Most of the time she's cool though, she's just like horribly dependent on other people to tell her what to do, so she attaches to Kazuichi because he's the most immediately available authority figure.

Fuyuhiko: He's got that sort of machismo that makes him not like to admit he loves dancing, but the moment he's complimented on it he'll really appreciate it. Also he's still part of a crime family, but it's just not as strong as Mikan's.

Akane: She really looks sporty still, but don't worry she's definitely "lucky," she's just much more focused on the future than her bad luck in the moment… which can be very bad, actually, and can make her come across as kind of aloof.

Nekomaru: Why is nurse Nekomaru not as common a thing. Just think about it, it's perfect. Nekomaru here got inspired by the bravery and hard work of the nurses that treated him and boom he became a nurse, nobody tougher than healthcare professionals after all.

Mahiru: Mahiru as a nurse is honestly a really really really fun concept but I feel like I wasn't very ambitious here, and I can't really show it through the drawing but one of my early drafts had her look more like a european chef a la gordon ramsey bc I headcanon her as a scot.

Teruteru: Decided to give him a raincoat which my sister pointed out to me could also be a trenchcoat, which is just PERFECT for a creep like him. It just writes itself man, though seriously he's mostly a landscape photographer who specializes in pics of the countryside. Still a huge perv tho.

Usowa: Name is a combo of Usagi and Chowa, the word for Harmony. She's less like a chaotic force of nature like Monokuma and more a manipulative and hardline teacher who coaxes the students into doing awful things by playing into their insecuritoies with motives, and which then causes them to kill, allowing her to punish them, "weeding out the weak and undisciplined among their ranks." She replaces Monokuma.

Kyojuma: Name is a combo of Kyoju (professor) and Kuma. He's a pretty silly guy with an easy temper to poke at, but he's good at heart and tries his best to be a more sort of "fun" teacher than the rules lawyer Usami kinda was. He just wants to help his students, too bad Usowa showed up and decidedly does NOT like his approach.

ok ok ok lemme pitch you an idea: post-NWP, everyone’s awake and doing their giant island polycule things, and they’re all just learning to be their own people outside of their Ultimates or outside of being Despairs—isn’t the thought of everyone teaching things to each other kinda cute? like mahiru explaining the ins and outs of a dark room and the rule of threes in photography, etc to ibuki who has a surprising knack for it, or kazuichi teaching nagito to fix the stuff that seems to break all the time around him and some basic safety rules, or mikan coaching akane through first-aid in return for some lessons in keeping her balance and building some muscle (she is a gymnast after all idk why she’s always Fighting), and they get to the point where a Certain Ultimate doesn’t become the go-to for an issue bc they’re actually diversified in what they can do? they can create hobbies and interests and skills outside of what they were Meant To Be doing? everyone spends so much time thinking about how they work past being Despairs, but i think the need to work past being Ultimates is equally important.

That is a really really good idea actually and youre right and its canon to me now

Had a dream where I was running a Christmas show where Santa was literally just Nagito Komaeda. In place of Rudolph was a terrifying beast with glowing red eyes, which was ostracized for being a terrifying beast. Nagito used the beast (despair) to save Christmas (hope) and was so, so happy, though he ended up also spreading despair anyway (taking a giant terrifying beast to every house will do that).

So, me and my friend @megamispe rewatched Monters vs Alians lately. My first thought? Why not make a komaeda centred au based on that lol. My computer broke, so I haven't drawn all the characters, but here's some doodles.

I'm having lots of fun with this au, so ill probably post more of it later. (Feel free to ask me about it if you'd like!)

Also, check Mega's twitter account, she gave me a lot of ideas for this au!!

The story would follow the same line as the movie, except that I added some stuff, so here's about the characters for now if you'd like to know:

Nagito Komaeda: Pretty much the same thing that happens to Susan in the movie, except... he's Komaeda...

Nagito was supposed to marry Byakuya the day a large meteor hit him. Said meteor contained a large amount of radiation that Komaeda ended up absorbing at the impact. Of course, he survived the incident due to his luck.

However, the radiation began affecting his body during the ceremony, which caused his previously light brown hair to turn white and his height to increase unbelievably huge. With that the wedding has been ruined, the guests were scared for their lives, Byakuya was grossed out by him now, and a monster containment organization has been called to capture him. The only ones who did worry about Nagito were Sonia and Gundham, but they could do nothing to stop him from being captured. Komaeda blames himself and his luck for ruining what should be the happiest day of his life and convinced himself that no matter what he tried, his chances of having the loving family he always longed for would always be taken away from him.

Byakuya Togami: He's the heir of the Togami corporation—just like in canon— and was about to marry Komaeda more for status and money than love. Nagito's family was loaded and had control over many interesting businesses for Togami, that's why he chose to marry Nagito, who was the only person left in his family. But once the radiation took over Komaeda, Byakuya gave up on the idea instantly. He did not want to deal with a giant-sized Komaeda, thinking that would ruin his image and career. It's not like Nagito has his family's assets now that he's a monster, so he's not interesting to Byakuya anymore. (Togami is a fucking asshole in this au, I'm sorry, Togami fans)

Sonia Nevermind + Gundham Tanaka: They're Nagito's best friends. Since Nagito's parents are dead, they're the ones who always help him out, including at his wedding. They were the only ones who were more for Komaeda himself after the meteor episode. Gundham even tried to stop some of the soldiers from the organization, but that was in vain, he and Sonia were pulled out of the area as well as the rest of the guests.

Eventually, when the monsters get Mukuro's permission to leave the containment base, Komeada goes directly to Gundham and Sonia's house so they know he's okay. Both Sonia and Gundham don't mind his new form, they're just happy to have their best friend back safe and sound.

Bonus: Gundham says that Nagito has reached his true form and that he knew from the start that Nagito wasn't entirely human. Komaeda shrugged it off as he knows it's just Gundham's dramatic way of speaking.

Mukuro Ikusaba: She takes the role of R. Monger.

Mukuro is a very talented soldier who got promoted to be in charge of area fifty-something(yes, the same as the movie. I'm not creative), where the monsters are being kept. She's cold looking and very straight to the point, but she also has a soft spot for the monsters she takes care of. That being said, she goes on her way to make sure they're comfortable in their new forever home, even if they can't escape to the outside world due to how humans would react.

After some months after Nagito's containment, Mukuro received the information that a huge alien robot bear had arrived on earth and proved to be a threat as it was killing innocent people and causing despair all over the place. Mukuro convinced the government to use the monsters to fight the robot since not even the armed force could, and in exchange, the monsters could finally be free.

Needless to say that Mukuro cared a lot for them, so she was very nervous about this decision as they could get hurt or even die.

Chiaki Nanami: Chiaki is a werebat. She has been in area fifty-something since she was 15. She's now 23.

Nanami has been found by the monster containment organization with one of her wings broken, so it was easier for them to capture her. It was a scary experience, she hated it there, but things improved when she met the Ultimate Hope, who she only calls Hajime(or Izuru if he's in control), they got attached very quickly as they noticed they were both very lonely and had problems socializing with the others monsters in the facility.

When she was 18, Mukuro got her promotion. Chiaki was cautious about her at first, but that soon changed as Ikusaba showed the monsters genuine care. Mukuro even gifted Chiaki a portable game console, which led to Nanami hyperfixation on games.

Nanami got interested in Nagito almost instantly, when he got into the facility, because of her curiosity. She surely hadn't planned that, but after some months, she and Hajime had developed a very strong bond with the white-haired man.

Hajime/Izuru(Ultimate Hope): The Ultimate Hope was born from a failed experiment a mad scientist performed on his son—Hajime Hinata— when the boy was 5 years old to try and stuff all talents known in the child's brain. That resulted in the creation of Izuru, however, the scientist hadn't expected Hajime's memories and soul to still be alive after the experiment. The Ultimate Hope was captured by the monster containment organization right after said experiment when they ended up killing their father in a post-trauma rage assessment.

Hajime and Izuru, despite showing different personalities, are the same person. They have the same feelings, same memories, same body... if, somehow, they were to be split apart, it'd be similar to cutting off a body member.

Hajime and Izuru intercalate who's in control of their body depending on the situation, Hajime being more in control during social and support situations, and Izuru during situations that require a bit more logic. Usually, Hajime's the one in control and izuru appears as his shadow. The same happens when Izuru takes control, but Hajime's the one being his shadow.

As previously mentioned, they take interest in Nagito and decide to approach him alongside Chiaki.

Akane Owari: She's a werewolf. Surprisingly the most difficult one to capture.

Akane has been found in a small village scaring some villagers away so she could steal their food and bring them to her younger siblings.

The monster containment organization tried to capture her more than once, but she always escaped using her inhuman speed. She also put up a fight leaving many soldiers harmed, but never killed them. She has only been captured one day when she came back to her cave and couldn't find her siblings anywhere. She lost the will to fight and let herself be captured.

She still don't know where they are, and that worries her very much, but she allowed herself to enjoy her new life since she not only got free food in the facility, but also got along pretty well with the other monsters.

King Monokuma: It is a gigantic alien robot that Junko sent to earth, in Japan to be precise, to torment the humans and bring them despair. However, King Monokuma is merely a distraction from her actual takeover plan.

She knew that the robot bear would get the world's attention, having most of the countries send resources that they believed would help take it down, as King Monokuma was believed to be a menace not only to Japan, but to the rest of the world too.

Still, even with how strong the robot was, it was defeated by the monsters strangely easily.

Junko Enoshima: Junko is an alien that destroyed her own planet. She's completely in love with despair and wants every living being to feel it.

It's always the same plan, she sends one of her Monokumas to scare the inhabitants of the planet she chose, and kills a bunch of people, only sparing a few that she thought that'd make wonderful remnants of despair and make them destroy their home planet themselves...

She'd watch the chaos and also plan more despairing things to do with the planet's inhabitants, like different types of killing games, until she gets bored and went to the next planet.

But earth is a little special for her, as it would not be the first time she'd be there. This time, she's eager to see a certain soldier again, but not only that, she wants the amount of power that had been contained within Komaeda(of course she doesn't knows that he's the one who has been hit by that meteor...yet).

Bonus thingy: Hajime/Izuru and Chiaki teach Nagito how to feel love. The trio + Mukuro and Akane become a founding family!!!

DANGAN-WALKERS

I made a Danganronpa Wolfwalkers au! It's not super fleshed out yet, but here's a list of which characters are wolfwalkers in each class and a lil bit about them!

THH Mondo- OG wolfwalker alongside his brother, Daiya died protecting him from an overzealous hunter instead and he's been very protective of those he cares about since then. The Crazy Diamonds + Taka are his pack

Taka- bitten in an incident he doesn't like talking about, hid it from everyone out of shame. Mondo helps him loosen up and teaches him to be proud of his identity, eventually leading to him joining Mondos pack and becoming more confident in himself.

Yasuhiro- OG wolfwalker alongside his mom. Very casual about it, which also helps Taka feel more comfortable with himself. Doesn't really care about making a pack and mostly uses his wolf form to try to catch the scent of valuables.

Byakuya- unknown. refuses to talk about his personal life aside from his family line, doesn't take naps, and alters his scent with expensive cologne. Wolfwalkers in general appear to cause him great discomfort, as he subtly changes the subject when they're mentioned and Kiyoko once caught him with a disturbed expression at the sight of Hiros wolf form. It's unclear if its a trauma response, if he is one himself, or if he's simply bigoted towards them.

SDR2 Nagito- bitten during the harmful portion of his luck cycle shortly before his first day at Hopes Peak. Uncomfortably casual about it and the Warriors of Hope treated his wolf form like a pet dog. He sees the rest of his class as his pack, but a majority of them don't feel the same way.

Hajime- turned during the Izuru experimentation to include the possibility of wolf based talents. He's accepted it and uses it to assist his other wolfwalker classmates better. Sees Fuyuhiko as part of his pack and is one of the few who accepts Nagito as a pack member as well.

Kazuichi- bitten as a child, which only added to his old man's abuse and left him ashamed of his identity. Kept it secret until he met his other wolfwalker classmates and grew more comfortable with himself. His obsession with Sonia dies down significantly once he's more comfortable with himself & grows closer to Gundham and the other wolfwalkers. Insecure and believes he doesn't deserve a pack.

Gundham- OG wolfwalker alongside his mom, dad was not a wolfwalker and left them early on as he didn't accept them as they were. Felt isolated for a very long time until he got into Hope's Peak and met others of his kind, which helped him come out of his shell and loosen up a little. None of his animals are afraid of his wolf form and can sometimes be seen riding on his back. He eventually sees Sonia and Kazuichi as members of his pack.

V3 Gonta- bitten after getting lost in the woods. Very open about it and spends a lot of time in wolf form. Still large and a little intimidating in wolf form, but tends to act more like a giant puppy. Sees the whole class as his pack.

Kokichi- OG wolfwalker, D.I.C.E is his pack. Keeps his identity a a secret and only goes into his wolf form at night to maintain his persona. The only ones who know are the other wolfwalkers, as his scent gives him away. He tries not to get close with anyone, but the wolfwalkers in his class are particularly determined to get him to open up.

Kaito- bitten during a camping trip with his grandparents, fully embraces his identity as a new way to help others and is loud & proud about it. Sees sidekicks as pack members and is more eager to recruit those who are struggling.

Rantaro- bitten during his adventures and doesn't mind it at all. Goes out on expeditions in wolf form a lot in an attempt to catch his sister's scents and find them faster. Very familial and accepts the other wokfwalkers as his pack, very good at making pack members feel safe and comforted.

instead of kazuichi going to see his grandma like the original story — he's visiting his sick friend, hajime, who he wants to surprise with a fresh batch of muffins that he baked himself! and then during his journey, he comes across the big bad wolf himself :0

this is super open-ended because i have little creativity atm-

(i saw art on pixiv about this and i just thought to tell you about it xD)

I hope we already know the drill! Long post ahead let’s go!

Let’s see:

Kazuichi lives in a cottage that’s attached to a smithy semi on the outskirts of the village. He mainly does commission work, primarily metalworking, but he does has a knack for toy making and secretly bakes but only shares with his friends. He hasn’t heard from Hajime in a while and after hearing from Nagito that he’s sick, decides to take him a basket of day old bake goods and go visit him.

Unfortunately, Hajime likes his privacy and as such, he lives in the middle of Jobberwock Forest, a dark, dense wood that stretches nearly 2/3 of the largest island in the cluster. Most spots in the forest that are perpetual night, where the Sun barely peeks through the dense foliage. Basically, it’s scary as hell. But Hajime is Kazuichi’s best friend - his soul brother - and he’s ill. He’ll venture into the deep, dark, evil embodiment of all things sinister forest to get to him.

So he gets ready, with his basket of muffins, apples and some leftover medicine from when he got food poisoning, as well as a book so his friend isn’t bored (he borrowed it but found his dull lol) and of course, his trusty outside wrench and pocket knife. He puts on his vibrant yellow hood, locks his home up and sets out for the wood. He’s SUPER careful to stay on the trail - like he’s habitually looking down and behind him to make sure he’s in the middle of the safe path. The woods always seem to change everyday, Sonia loves to say that it has a mind of its own which does nothing to sooth his frazzle nerves.

He’s been walking since the late morning and thinks about taking a rest, when he hears a twig snapping. The sound it so loud it makes him jump. He turns to where he thinks it originated from, but another loud sound is coming from behind him and he whips around to see two red eyes staring at him in the shadows. Gripped in panic, Kazuichi turns tail and runs, leaving the safety of the path. Our bumbling boy is booking it - somehow not tripping on upturn roots until finally he’s in a clearing a few miles southwest of his friend’s home.

He’s so exhausted that he collapses onto the nearest stump, unaware of the hulking figure behind him. The basket wobbles a bit on the ground, but it doesn’t topple over so he breathlessly calls that a win.

“Good day.” A voice says behind him and it makes Kazuichi jump like a startled cat. He snatches his knife as he moves.

He whips around and sees, possibly the hottest guy he’s ever seen. Tall, Kazuichi has to tilt his head up slightly to look him in the eye, with pale skin and dual red and grey eyes. And wearing all black clothing aside from a purple cloth wrapped around his neck. The guy even had a scar over the grey one. Hot, but most definitely a thief.

“I-I don’t have any money!” He says, hoping the other will let him go, but the other only tilts his head.

“Apologies, I did not mean to frighten you, mortal. I rarely see one of your denizens venture this far into the dark wood.”

Kazuichi can only blink. Ok…maybe he wasn’t a thief. More likely a nutcase. Pity, dude was kinda hot.

“uh…yeah. I got spooked by a giant animal and ran.” Looking around the are, he realized in growing horror that nothing looked familiar. He doesn’t even seem to notice that the guy is staring at him intently, eyes zeroing in on him sucking his bottom lip between sharp teeth before speaking. Or the way his eyes trailed down the length of his body in interest.

“You are greatly fortunate this day, Persephone. I was reared in these very lands and can navigate you to the more safer paths.”

He didn’t really understand all of that, but the stranger seemed to want to help him and despite his suspicions, he was lost. Maybe he could trust the weirdo, just this one time.

“Really? And you won’t…like do anything bad? To ,e?” He squeaked, hand gripping his knife.

But the stranger merely shakes his head. “Not at all. I, the great Gundham Tanaka, ensures your safety through these dark wood,”

“Gundham.” Kazuichi silently mouthed, eyebrows furrowed. Tale and creepy had such a weird ass name. But he’s gonna help him out so he may as well put it aside for now.

Shaking his head, he places his knife carefully back in his basket and bends down to retrieve it. Again, he somehow misses the look Gundham gives his bent form and the slight peek of tongue running across his bottom lip. The man is damn near salivating lol

“My name’s Kazuichi’s by the way. It’s nice to meet you.” The pink haired man flashed a nervous smile, which the other returned with more ease and a bit something that makes Kazuichi’s stomach flip.

“I believe I am the more fortuitous between the two of us.”

They begin backtracking through the woods and as they do, Gundham gently starts to ask Kazuichi questions - what does he do, where does he live, does he live alone. Simple questions. Nothing untowards or suspicious about them.

And Kazuichi answers each one truthfully, not really mindful of his answers because the forest is much darker than it was when he had started and having the other by his side eases him. He also asks Gundham a bit about himself as a distraction, but the man deflects; only reiterating that he grew up in the Jobberwock Forest, that he has lived there all his life and that he’ll keep Kazuichi safe.

Finally, they are in more familiar territory and the path unfurls before them. Tears of relief well in Kazuichi’s eyes. He’s so happy he could kiss the dirt road. Just before he can kneel down and actually do it however, Gundham pinches the sleeve of neon yellow hood to get his attention.

“You had mentioned your comrade has fallen to a malignant force, correct?”

“Huh? Oh yeah! Hajime’s sick.” He almost forgot his friend for a moment what with his fear of the forest and this mysterious man. “I should hurry to his house before it gets dark.” Being out here at night was so much scarier than being out in the daylight.

“Fret not, you will ensursedly arrive at your destination before the dying light of the sun. I merely asked, for do you see these fauna?”

Gundham pointed to a patch of flowers. They were small, with white petals and tall, thin stalks that bent towards a shaft of sunlight. Kazuichi’s eyebrows furrowed, but he gave a slight nod.

“These are medicinal plants.” The man informed, giving the other a charming smile. “They can assist in curing your friend. Merely steep in a concoction of tea and he shall be remedied!”

Kazuichi stared at the flowers, eye wide with disbelief. “Seriously?! But they’re all over the place!”

“This glade is their preferred choice for germination. You should collect them before you go.”

“Right!” Kazuichi took a step closer to the flowers but stopped, peaking over his shoulder to look back at Gundham with an awkward smile. “Hey, thanks again for helping me back on the path. I’m sure I took you away from something important-“

But Gundham merely waved his hand, dismissing the notion. “Do not fret, it was far more important to ensure your safe return. Sadly, I do have some business to conclude, and must leave you here. I can assume you know the way to your companion’s domicile from here?”

“Yeah everything looks a lot familiar now. I should get to Hajime’s hut in a half hour or so.” Kazuichi nodded, giving one last smile in gratitude before setting off to pick a few of the plants. He calls out one last time. “Thanks again man. I really owe you!”

As the mechanic bent down, Gundham retreated into the shadows, his eyes ensuring the other was too engrossed picking flowers, before he transformed into his wolf form and raced through the forest. He knew the quickest way to Hajime’s home, and in his quadrupedal form, he made it there in just under ten minutes. Barely skidding to a halt, he just had enough time to change back before Hajime opens his door.

He only looks a little pale, but he’s standing up straight and his breathing wasn’t labored. Excellent, this soothes his fretting mind somewhat.

“Singularity! I require a boon.”

“Hello to you too, Gundham.” Hajime chuckles, inviting the other in. “It must be important- you rarely ask me for anything.”

Crossing the threshold, Gundham wasted no time retelling his encounter with the most entrancing creature he has ever met, going on about his aura and mystical powers for surely he could not be a mere mortal if Gundham, Overlord of Ice and Ruler of these Woods, is so successfully ensnared. And through it all Hajime listens, a little bemused, but actively listening to his rants.

“I’ve been meaning to have Kazuichi meet you, but you usually keep to yourself.”

“My boon is thus: depart from your realm so that I may have succeeded in completing our courtship! In return, I shall assist you in your own quest for romantic endeavors.”

Hajime blinks, stunned. “Hold on. You want me to leave my house, just so you can make a move on my best friend?”

Well, when put like it sounds unsavory. Gundham fiddles with his scarf, a hot flush spreading down his neck.

“And I don’t need help in my love life thanks,” he said sardonically. How about this: I give you my home for the night - only tonight! - and whatever happens, happens. But you owe me by helping around my property and hunting. Whatever he brings in his basket that he made are mine. And you stay away from my bedroom.” The last sentence was said with such severity that if he were a lesser demon, Gundham would quiver.

Instead he chuckles, a low, dark sound that would seem threatening to anyone outside their friendship, but was really one of agreement.

“Very well mortal! I accept your bargain.”

Hajime takes entirely too long in Gundham’s opinion to pack an overnight bag, but he departs and Gundham prepares for the mechanics arrival. He already ensured Hajime’s personal abode was sealed (Hajime locked it) and that Kazuichi would not be suspicious of the changes dwellings (Hajime wrote a note explaining). Now he only had little left to disguise his aura and appearance. The borrowing of Hajime’s night shirt and pants and pulling the shades down in the guest room shall do the trick.

And now, with infinite patience, he awaits his prey.

I saw someone asking why I labeled something as Peko/Buki even tho I'm a Kuzu/Peko shipper. Other then the fact multishippers exist, I didn't consider that as a Kuzu/Peko comic. Ibuki expressed more interest in Peko than Fuyuhiko.

Call me asexual but I don't think just because Fuyuhiko was close to Peko's hip, it should be considered explicit shipping.

So just to be clear on my stance, I am okay with you ppl labeling my art as any ship but there are some boundaries.

Don't label it with problematic ships like incest or age gap.

If the art is clearly about one couple, don't make it about another. But if it's just a group of ppl chilling then you can find whatever couple you like.

I personally hate Mahi/Peko but I know I'm gonna draw things exploring Mahiru's crush on Peko so that's on me if ppl interpret it that way. Just don't be weird, because I have no quams with never drawing Peko and Mahiru within 5 feet of each other. I've drawn Case 2 ten times and I've only drawn Mahiru once.

I made a list of Peko's relationship with others if you wanna know my stance on her ships.

Hajime -I will never let people forget Hajime has a canon crush on Peko. Besides that, Hajime is Peko's first true friend. Outside of Fuyuhiko, Hajime is the only person Peko feels comfortable confiding in her secrets. He doesn't judge and is very kind. Meanwhile Hajime goes to Peko when he needs a cool headed and rational opinion.

Chiaki - Queerplatonic, they snuggle a lot. Chiaki is chill and her games makes it easier for Peko who has no experience talking to people have things to relate to. Peko understands when Chiaki is emotionless for the most part and then burst into excitement when it's something she's passionate about. They developed their own little language in those situations.

Nagito - Nagito likes to take advantage of Peko’s kindness and clings to her. Peko doesn’t mind hanging out with Nagito but stares dagger into him when he’s being too forward with others (he doesn’t read social cues so he’s not gonna catch it). Nagito thinks of himself as a diet Fuyuhiko. As long as Peko provides support, he'll look out for her.

Teruteru - He's super turned on by Peko but gets flustered when she genuinely cares about him (turns out he does not have a mommy kink). Peko enjoys Teruteru teaching her about cooking so the two eventually bond over that.

Imposter - Peko’s best friend on the island. They both relate to not knowing who they’re supposed to be. At the same time, they don’t see each other as just victims. They’re both people trying to grow and become better. When these two are together some say they're TOO COOL (actually Ibuki is the only one that said this)

Mahiru - Mahiru has a giant crush on Peko. At first she believe she knows what’s best for her and tries to takes her away from Fuyuhiko. Once she accepts Peko doesn’t want her help, she tries to be happy for Peko and Fuyuhiko.

Hiyoko: Is jealous of Peko so she lashes out at her a lot. Originally it was for looking mature/sexy and gardening Mahiru’s attraction. But after she learned of Peko’s past, she’s jealous that she didn’t have her own bodyguard to protect her from the multiple assassination attacks she went through.

Ibuki: Queerplatonic, they kiss A LOT. Ibuki loves seeing Peko awkwardly cheer for her at concerts (imagine Pearl from Steven Universe type of awkward) Peko made Ibuki realize that quiet is okay. Because only when it’s quiet, she can hear Peko’s heart beat speed up. I think they would be a cute fling but these two come from two different worlds. Ibuki is a party rocking planet and Peko is a silent moon. Maybe if the stars aligned they could've made it work. But that doesn't mean you can't appreciate eclipses.

Mikan: Mikan’s ability to read micro facial expressions helps her interpret a lot of Peko’s hidden emotions. Peko likes Mikan but Mikan mistaken Peko’s quietness with secret resentment (she can read that Peko isn’t mad but sometimes mental illness makes you ignore facts). Mikan is had to get close to and Peko doesn't have the social understanding to truly know her.

Gundham: He has adopted her as his own. He feels the need to protect this person on par with his traumatic backstory. She must realize this too, that’s why she keeps flocking to him and his four dark devas. Meanwhile Peko only understands 50% of what he’s saying but she’s trying. Sonia (and Gonta in non despair AU) has to interpret sometimes. Giant Big Brother and Little Sister energy.

Sonia: Sonia is the extrovert who adopts an introvert. Sonia wants to hang out with all her classmates and one of the few who doesn't see Peko cool demeanor as disinterest. Sonia is the only one who can relate to Peko's isolation and only she knows the kind of loneliness that can come with being around others. Peko doesn't realize this on her part and it hurts Sonia. But Sonia doesn't stop trying.

Kazuichi: Scared and aroused by Peko. I head anon one time his trash picking robot accidentally took Peko’s sword and it exploded. Kazuichi was so scared to admit it to Peko but once he did - Peko was more concerned about him than her sword. He’s convinced she’s in love with him and begs Fuyuhiko to ask her out for him. Peko bluntly declines.

Nekomaru - Nekomaru passionately talks with Peko about a lot of things. At first it was Kendo, then it was training, proper diet, and it spiraled into Nekomaru talking excitably about his day. Peko is a good listener but even she can go deaf from all the yelling. Ibuki bails her out sometimes. I think Nekomaru and Sonia are the only people who know how to push Peko out of her comfort zone without overstepping. Ibuki can be too excited in getting Peko to do new things. Hajime and Chiaki doesn't see a problem with Peko doing her own thing.

Akane - The girls bond over being asexual together. No talk about love or mushy stuff. They talk with battle! At least according to Akane. Peko is hesitant to train with Akane because she believes only someone strong like Sakura could handle her blade. Akane takes that as an open challenge and tries to blindside Peko until she takes her seriously. Akane does have to learn boundaries at one point. Maybe the person who grew up in constant danger doesn't want to keep looking over her shoulders in case her classmates attack her.

Fuyuhiko - Ultimately, though everything, this blog will always be a Kuzu/Peko blog. Growing up, Fuyuhiko developed a crush on Peko but never acted on it. Only after a chance conversation with Sakura about what being in love is like, Peko realized in middle school she is in love with Fuyuhiko. By that point their relationship is strained. Fuyuhiko is constantly telling Peko he doesn't need a tool and pretend they don't know each other. Peko doesn't want to be forgotten by Fuyuhiko, this person she spent everyday with. She planned on asking him out, as equals, but then Twilight Syndrome Murder happened. There was no time for love when there was so much hate in his heart. Eventually after everything, the two realizes they need each other. Fuyuhiko only pushed Peko away because he thought she couldn't grow as a person if she was constantly worried about him. Peko realizes she can still care and protect Fuyuhiko as a fellow warrior by his side. These two understand each other so well that they don't need to talk. But this also leads to terrible miscommunications.

After the encounter at the shrine, Chiaki spent a long time simply wandering around, hoping to run into Nagito again. At some point, she saw a gigantic Monokuma strutting about, knocking away and crushing all the smaller Monokumas in it's path. It seemed to be approaching Towa Hills. Oh, that's right. I remember Komaeda-kun mentioning it when he was talking to Naegi-san and Fukawa-san... Something about a base? ...Maybe I should've payed more attention.

Tired of mindless wandering, she decided to approach the large building as well. As she got closer, she noticed a large group of people gathered nearby cheering for the giant Monokuma. These people... I get a bad feeling about them. I'll just... watch from a distance.

Chiaki concealed herself behind some of the piles of debris. Despite this, a smoking woman with messy pink hair noticed her and approached. "Hey there. Haven't see you before, you a new rescue?" Unlike the rest of the crowd, the lady before her seemed pretty normal. Her voice was relaxed and mature, practically oozing the energy of a well-experienced older woman. Chiaki was so stunned by her aura she forgot to reply.

"...Lost for words, huh? Guess even young ladies like you aren't immune to my womanly charm. It's alright, you're not the first one. My name's Hiroko Hagakure, and you are?" Finally snapping out of her daze, Chiaki answered, "...Oh, sorry. I'm Chiaki Nanami, a member of Future Foundation, branch office 14. Nice to meet you, Hagakure-san."

"A Future Foundation member...? My, and here I thought the only member in the city was Fufu. Chiaki Nanami, huh? I'll just call you Nana then." Nana? ...Oh, I see. She took the first part of my family name and made it a nickname. And Fufu... Is probably Fukawa-san. So she's met her... "Sorry for all the ruckus, after Koko's motivational speech, the adults here have gotten a bit... too excited. It totally went to their heads."

"...Yeah, I can see that. Say... do you know anything about that big Monokuma?" The question had been stuck in Chiaki's mind ever since she saw it. "Oh, that? That's the Big Bang Monokuma. Towa-kun's controlling it. He said it was the adults' 'last hope', or something like that. From the looks of it, he's gonna go and bring down Towa Hills. Can't tell you anything more than that."

"...I see. Thanks for the info."

"Happy to help. You've probably got some important mission to carry out, right? I'll leave you alone then. Good luck, Nana." And with that, Hiroko walked back into the crowd. She seemed nice. ..Hmm, but... I feel like I've heard the name 'Hagakure' somewhere before... Chiaki decided to head into Towa Hills and see what was going on.

As it turns out, she never made it into the building. The Big Bang Monokuma had begun attacking it before she could get to the entrance and she had to retreat. It appeared to be held back by something though, as eventually it's neck exploded and the head flew up, eventually landing on it's original spot upside down. The giant robot fell backwards, crushing all the smaller Monokumas swarmed at it's feet.

Now that the assault was over, Chiaki cautiously approached the entrance again and snuck her way inside. Thanks to someone -presumably Toko and Komaru- having dealt with all the obstacles and enemies in the building, she could ride the elevator up to the top floor immediately. She went through several rooms and short stairs before arriving at a white room filled with debris.

Inside the room, she saw Nagito attempting to lift the debris from over a small, green-haired girl's body. She walked inside, drawing the attention to her. "...Ah, Nanami-san...? What are you doing here...? Did you come to help Komaru Naegi? You are much too late I'm afraid..." Nagito was out of breath, clearly exhausted from moving the bits of debris away. "Oh, it's you. The Future Foundation lady. Are you here to deal with Monaca?" Oh, so she's 'Monaca'.

"...No, I just saw the big Monokuma and wondered why it was attacking this place. Since it was defeated, I decided to go inside to check it out. ...What are you doing here, Komaeda-kun?" She could see he wanted to help Monaca out, though she doesn't know why. "...Ah, That... Well, I had... planned to leave once the... Big Bang Monokuma showed up, but I... changed my mind and... decided to see things through to the end." He paused several times to breathe. "And I'm... glad I did. It would be... such a shame to let... Monaca-san's potential go to waste... all because her plan didn't work."

"Hey, can you hurry up? It hurts being crushed by debris. Monaca's tired of being unable to go anywhere." Monaca started pouting at Nagito pausing his attempts at getting her out, ignoring the fact he clearly haven't made much headway and already looked ready to collapse. "Ah, my apologies, Monaca-san. I will get... back to helping you." Not wanting to see him actually collapse, Chiaki started to help without a word. "Nanami-san...?"

"Don't talk. You're pretty tired already, right? I don't want you to collapse, so I'll help."

"...You're so weird, Big Sis. You do know who I am, right? It'd be much better for you if I just died." Chiaki ignored her, leading Monaca to spout an endless stream of comments about of how weird and stupid she is at her. "...I really wish you'd just kill me. I already failed, there's no reason for me to live anymore." That almost got a reply from Chiaki, but she continued to stay silent.

By the time the debris was moved enough for her to be lifted up, Monaca had talked herself into exhaustion and had fallen asleep. Nagito didn't look much better off. "...Hey hey, what are we gonna do about her? It sounds like you've got plans for her, but maybe we should just take her home with us instead?" She didn't voice it, but the real reason she wanted to bring Monaca home was to make sure Nagito didn't use her for any other despair-inducing plans. ...Well, one of the reasons.

"...Is really that a good idea...? What about... Naegi-kun and Kirigiri-san...? They won't... be happy about it. Especially not... Naegi-kun..." He had a point, but Chiaki was stubborn. "We could always just say it's to keep an eye on her. And besides, they were fine with letting you and Kamukura-kun stay. I think we'll be fine." Naegi-kun will probably be a bit upset, but he'll understand... maybe. She's just a child, after all. "...For now, let's get out of here. I'm tired of this place. I wanna head home already..." She rubbed her eye sleepily.

"...Alright, let us be on our way, then." Nagito laid Monaca on the ground before turning around and putting her arms over her shoulders and put his hands under her legs, carrying her piggy-back style. Without another word, they left the building and started walking on a road away from the crowd of adults.

As they were walking, Chiaki noticed Nagito staggering, his still bleeding thighs making his legs even weaker when combined with the exhaustion. "Komaeda-kun-"

Before she could finish her sentence, he fell forward and she rushed to hold him up. "Komaeda-kun! L-let's take a break. You're in no state to walk right now. I'll... take care of Monaca-san too, okay?" Completely ignoring her, Nagito started to blush and looked forward with a tired, but no less lovesick expression.

"Kamukura-sama..." Kamukura-kun? At that, she followed his line of sight and saw Izuru walking towards them, rolling a trolley with Shirokuma and a pitch black Monokuma's heads on it. "...Kamukura-kun? What are you doing here? I thought you were still home..." He stopped right in front of them, letting go of the trolley and placing Nagito inside. Afterwards, he picked up the sleeping Monaca and placed her on Nagito's lap. The girl instinctively curled up into his chest.

Finally, Izuru turned back to Chiaki and said the first thing she'd heard from him in a while. "Let's go. There is no reason to stay here anymore."

"...Alright, let's go." She started walking alongside him. Some time after, the black Monokuma head started talking, "Yo man, where the hell you takin' us now!? You 'n' that big boobed babe gonna kidnap us and torture is with watching ya get it on or something? Aren't you a massive pervert! Bet this BDSM bastard over here will enjoy it though!"

Chiaki hated this guy already. She decided to just ignore him. Clearly, the bear didn't like the lack of response, "HEEEEY, are you guys ignorin' me!? Don't ya know I'm a total-"

"Please, shut up. You will wake Monaca-san." Nagito was uncharacteristically stern. Guess Chiaki's not the only one who can't stand the Monokuma's chattering. "Oh Kurokuma, please try to be quiet! Little Monaca-chan needs her sleep to grow big and strong!" Shirokuma -who Chiaki had thought wasn't functioning anymore- started gently reprimanding the other robot head. "She must be so tired after everything that happened... not to mention all the rubble she got crushed by! Poor girl... it must hurt a lot..." Nagito was clearly done with their bantering. "You shut up too. I hate you both."

"M-me too!?"

"AHAHAHAHA! Looks like this bottom has a back-bone after all! Bet you're the kind of servant who acts all sweet and obedient during the day, but at night YOU'RE the one giving orders! AHAHAHAHA ISN'T THAT JUST HILARIOUS!? Imagine THIS GUY giving orders! AHAHAHA-"

Izuru briefly stopped walking to smash his hands into Shirokuma and Kurokuma's heads and ripped something small enough that Chiaki couldn't see it clenched in his fists. As the two bears shut down, Izuru put the parts into his pockets. Apparently having woken up some time during the commotion, Monaca spoke up, "...Where are we going?"

"Home."

"...That's not an answer, Mr. stalker."

Izuru lifted a brow. "...Stalker? Who, exactly, do you believe I would be stalking?" At that, Monaca cocked her head with an innocent expression. "Who are you stalking? Monaca thinks it's obvious. Mr. Stalker is stalking Big Sis and Mr. Servant, of course! The Monokuma kids have seen you following them around all the time. Ever since Big Sis came to Towa City, you've been following her and Mr. Servant around."

"I am observing them to ensure their safety. 'Stalking' implies malicious intent or an obsession with the people in question, neither of which I have." He continued to deny the accusation, but did confirm he was, in fact, following them around. "...Anyway, tell me where you're taking me, Mr. Stalker. I don't trust you, so I want to make sure you're not taking Monaca and Mr. Servant to some dangerous place. Monaca can't protect herself, and Mr. Servant is weak and useless."

Noticing Izuru had decided to ignore her, Chiaki replied instead, "...We're going to our apartment. There's only us and two other Future Foundation members there, so it's pretty safe. The only problem we've had is Komaeda-kun's occasional episodes. ...Mr. Stalker usually deals with it before it can get too bad, though." Izuru scoffed.

"...I don't like that Mr. Stalker has that much power over Mr. Servant. He's MY servant, not yours." Monaca pouted, a far too childish expression for the implications behind her words. "It's okay. I won't let Mr. Stalker do anything, I promise." The girl squinted at Chiaki, thinking over her words. In the end, she nodded on affirmation. "Hm, okay! If Big Sis promises to watch Mr. Stalker, then I guess it's okay."

A yawn forced it's way out of Monaca's mouth. "...Mmm I'm tired. Monaca's gonna take a nap. Good night, Big sis." Immediately after she spoke, she curled back up into Nagito's chest and promptly fell asleep.

Chiaki gave a small smile, and walked home with a new addition to their odd 'family'.
