Does this manga called "Power!!" Involves basketball and the main character have to go as a boy in her new school, because her father wrote her as such so she could be enlisted to the basketball team? Just think the title sounds familiar so got to ask.
YES!!!! The main character, Kyo, is enrolled into a high school by her dad so he can live his basketball dream out vicariously through her. 😂
The funny thing is there's also a really good girl's team at that school too but I think only the boy's team lives in dorms? That could be another reason for the forced crossdressing.

Last night I was struck with a memory about reading Tokyopop manga in a Books A Million, and one of the first few Shoujo I ever picked up was Girl Got Game (Power!! in Japanese). it's about a girl who cross dresses as a guy to go to a private school and joins the boys basketball team and rooms with a really intense basketball guy.
Anyways, so I was thinking about blorbos and I was like, yeah Ruby would do that I think, cross dress to play some bball? and so I started drawing it because I'm an insatiable hoe but I was drawing it like comic/manga style so I finished one panel before it was 1am and the beloved called me to bed because I have work today.
now I'm just biding my time at work, waiting to be done so I can get back to my little project and create angst and drama for my blorbs!

There's not a day when I won't feel sorry for her. He never deserved her or any of his children. Ironically, he killed Aemma for a son only to eventually gain not just one but three and neglect them. He traumatized a teenage girl for the rest of her life, using her and leaving her in the dust like she wasn't shit.

PSA to all the screenwriters out there: please consult the actors of beloved long-running characters about where they think their character should go. Clearly they know better than the writers.
