pondering about how The Untamed was the healthiest hyperfixation i've ever had, and it lasted the longest of one and half years. the dudes i usually fall for are evil and fucked up, while Lan Zhan was the rarer occurrence of the kindest man ever. also The Untamed was such a cool thing to affect my mind, because wangxian are all about kids and marriage, and made me have good realistic dreams that align with my own desires and values. on other hand all those evil insane men i imprint on should be kept a kilometre away from babies so that's another thing

back on my bullshit:
it would have been really cool if Fitz had gone to the forbidden cities to find Keefe after he ran away, bc Sophie was too busy at home and Fitz didn't want to be around her (after their breakup). He's arguably the most well versed in the human world aside from Sophie and a few black swan members...
all I'm saying is that I would read that book in a heartbeat. It would also have the potential to repair Keefe and Fitz's bond.
It would be neat, methinks

i like dunking on stupid tiktok feminism too but a lot of you are spending so much time doing that that you loop back around to agreeing with them that women are inherently immature and dumb... like the point of pushing back on that stuff is reminding people that women are capable independent adults not "these tiktoks about girl math are proof that The Young Women of Today Are Idiots"... i think you can talk abt the normalization of women infantilizing themselves and calling it feminism without resorting to Kids These Days arguments where you specifically imply that teenage girls as a group are stupid idiots
