Being straight in a poly relationship.

Despite what people have always believed I am a straight female. There was much debate amoung school mates weather I was bi or lesbian but I am very straight. So at first it was weird being in a poly relationship. I didn't know if I was going to have to have sex with Kayla or if we would be having threesomes everytime we wanted sex. I agreed to the relationship because it was the only way i could be with John. He is the love of my life, no fighting it. As we got further into the relationship I realized I love Kayla too. Kayla is very much bi though. Kayla and I still aren't comfortable being intimate with each other but we love each other very much. We bicker a lot but I wouldn't have it any other way. If you are weak, you lose the game.

Honestly, there were so many temptations. You just gotta be brave enough to refuse from them. Because if you are into something/someone that's really special to you, you will do what's best.

Using social media platforms, they are the best example. You can talk and meet anyone on it. Not realizing that you were only tested by Him, just to know how true you are.

Truly, I was the best example from this. Some guys just pop up notifying that they want to add and be friends "kuno". But not really the intention, they are up to something. Something that might break you and your current relationship.

At first, they will just gonna say "Hi, kumusta?" And then later on, "Pwede manguyab nimo?" From there, you'll ask yourself, "What are the odds?" Like how do they know that I needed someone to talk to nowadays? But still, all you wanted was just someone to talk with, NOT MORE THAN THAT. I admit, usahay nindot kaayo motubay. Labi na'g imohang partner, wala nay pake nimo. Kanang dili namo almost mastorya. Puro na lang mo selosan, puro na lang away. And of course you, tao ra ka. You wanted someone to comfort you. Pero ingon pa sila "ayaw'g kumpyansa anang mo-comfort nimo, kay may hidden agenda pud na sila". How true this statement is: tinuod jud kaayo siya.

To think nga sila imong gi-openan sa imong problema, of course they know how to play with you. They know what to do.

But in my case, I'd prefer not to talk with any other people aside from the ones I really know, I mean personally. I always ignore messages, especially when it comes from strangers. Bahala na'g na'g storyahan ko nila'g "arte, strikta, feeling gwapa", basta kay ako, allergic ko anang mga in-ana.

It happens nga mapul-an ka's ka-boring. Pero kung tarong ka, you know the difference between right and wrong, of course temptations will just be nothing to you. I mean, we all get tested. Faith and loyalty, are two of the most tested aspects in a relationship. And if you are not strong enough to fight against these temptations, then probably you will bite all the baits.

Luckily, I know what I want and who I love. I wanted us to be happy and stay in love. But as to you, you were weak. And so we ended up being apart.

Temptations, they can really break you I say.

There shouldn’t be a fight about going to work, there shouldn’t be question over earning money to survive over how much you love your partner.

Relationships are hard, or I’m just difficult to be with.

I am not asking for you to kiss my feet or carry me wherever I go.

I just want you to speak to me, nicely.

Like you would, to your family and friends.

Why must you always snap at me. Always get fusturated at me? I know I am quite the child at times, but isnt that one of the reasons you fell for me in the first place? Because you felt that I’m the little bunny you wish to protect.

I dont like people snapping at me, especially when I did nothing wrong. If you snapped at me once or twice because you were having a bad day, fair enough, I can understand, but being constantly fusturated at me.. sure makes me feel that you are sick of me.

I want to leave this relationship. I told myself that a few times now.

You said you love me. You said you dote on me, but everytime you say that, you snap at me right after. You snap at me when at almost everything I do.

Is that love?

And when I lose control of your constant nagging, I snapped back. And you would say I am being a princess. A lazy princess.

I work all day and would get dinner for you on my way home from work. I just wanna sleep in late during my off days, which is once a week, is that too much to ask?

Our friends will say it seemed like you love me more than I love you, and you always bring that up. If what out friends thinks meant so much to you, you are welcome to find another girl who shows as much public love as you do.

I put myself through so much for you. But you only think about how much you think you have done for me. You wanted me to move in with your parents aftet we dated for a month.. as reluctant as I am, I did. And I even brought my cat along with me as your request. And now you are complaining everyday about my cat’s fur, its smelly litter (even though i change the litter everyday when i come home from work) and how my cat jumps everywhere during the night and mews loudly every morning.

You seemed to hate everything about me and my cat now.

And when I ask to leave and move back to my own place, you beg me not to act on impluse and swear to treat us better the next time.

It will last for a day, and everything is back to the same old shit again.

I wanna leave this relationship.

Give me the strength to live without you. After all, we have been together for 6 months now.
