Someone most likely already said this but,

If I don't remember wrong Wei Wuxian is tan (if i'm not mistaken he is described as sun kissed in the novel, in the extra chapters). He was raised in Lotus Pier so it makes sense, as he spends most of his time outside, swimming, training. He would be quite tan I think.

But then when he is thrown into the burial mounds, he comes out sickly pale, like one of his ghosts, deadly skinny, hair dirty and no longer in a high ponytail. He doesn't need it anymore, he can't even use Suibian anyways, his hair won't bother him anymore.

When he reincarnates in Mo Xuanyu, he's pale and more delicate, as Mo Xuanyu did keep good care of his physical appearance. But I like to think that Wei Wuxian keeps his old bad habits, he's been dead for so long, who even cares?

But oh, when he starts living with Lan Wangji, he starts getting his tan back from their adventures outside. From training with the juniors, his hair is healthier because Lan Zhan takes care of it. He washes it and oils it, brushes it while Wei Ying tells him about his day.

I'm a firm believer that he does build is golden core again and gets his face appearance back. His height can't change, but his body would build muscle again. His tan would be glowing, his eyes would change to their original colour and his face would end up looking like original Wei Wuxian.

And although his new body doesn't carry his old scars, every night Lan Wangji would worship his body. Kiss where every one of them used to be, the scars from Zidian, old dog bites, every and each inch of his skin. Because the world might not remember, but Wangji does. So does Wei Ying, carrying all the trauma from his past life into the new one. But no longer alone to bear it, his soulmate is there now. And will always be. For the rest of eternity, as they both became immortal cultivators.

So I officially read all 3 first novels of the English Adaption and I love them all. I was really unsure if I was going to love any of them let alone all three!

After watching HOB is when I decided to give the actual Novel a chance and read the backs of the other two and purchased all three at the same time. Even tho I had watched HOB on Funi and had enjoyed the show itself I was still a bit unsure. However the Book was elegant and just Amazeing. I feel on love with the characters and the style of writing. It truly was a wonderful book.

When I got the three books the second of HOB came out and I read it right away. Of course once that was out and read I had a choice to make. Which one of MXTX's work to read next.

I originally thought of Reading the SVSSS first because it was the second one coming out with Book 2 but after some thought I actually read GMODC first. At a last minute decision it appealed to me the most. So That's what I did. I also watched the Show (Not The live action but the Dunghan) while I read. The Show itself though enjoyable really changes a lot of detail and so It was disappointing. Yet I still really enjoyed it none the less.

After I finished I didn't start SVSSS right away. I was a little obsessed with GMoDC and I read more of it online plus read the Manghan which was really well done so far.

Finally a week before the second book of Scum Villain did I start the first one and let me tell you I am pleased. I was really unsure if I was going to like it after watching the show first. Though I am liking the show again there are minor differences. Still enough to convince me to read it. I am so glad I decided to read all so far. Like I love all 6 chars from each book. I can't tell you who is my #1 yet. Though if I had to pick it's a heads up between Lan Wangji and Hua Cheng haha! Lan Wangji is just too cute tho haha!

My journey continues though As I start Book 2 of SVSSS! So far I am really enjoying this!

SQQ Perfect Wife For JC

So the requirements JC lays down for a wife are as follows from the GMoDC Wiki:

Jiang Cheng's requirements in his partner are: naturally beautiful, graceful and obedient, hard-working and thrifty, coming from a respected family, cultivation level not too high, personality not too strong, not too talkative, voice not too loud and must treat Jin Ling nicely.

And a lot of people compare JC and LQG are very similar and models of each other. And LQG seemed interested in SQQ.

Doesn't SQQ, specifically SY, really fit the above requirements? He's pretty, graceful, mostly obedient (will do his own thing but only if he has too), hardworking (to save his own life/pretend to be peak lord doing paperwork), coming from a respected family (he's the peak lord/prior to that he was a trust fund baby), cultivation level not to high (he really just wants to fly/do nifty tricks), personality not to strong (strong ideals but otherwise pretty bland), not to talkitive (really only rants about books), not loud (screams internally), and treats Jin Ling nicely (he's polite to most everyone and will probably consider JL a tsundere and be amused.)

It makes sense if you considering that most people compare SQQ/SY and Nie Huaisang, and NH fits these requirements pretty well, if the similar way they talk about JC and LQG. They are modeled after each other but not perfect copies. I personally think SQA resembles Nie Huaisang more but to each their own.
