Baek Yoon-Ho - Tiger

This should be obvious. However, I also headcanon him to be 34 (based on manhwa merch) rather than the game age of 37 he can't be that old

I will be using Baek Yoon-Ho's age to set everyone else's age

Choi Jong-In - Snake

This is based on how Baek Yoon-Ho calls Choi Jong-In a snake in the story. So if Choi Jong-In was born in the year of the snake, that would make him 31 (this is where I got his age from by the way)

This also fits into my previous headcanon that his age is somewhere between 28-32 (note that I'm ignoring the in-game age)

Min Byung-Gyu - Monkey

If Yoon-Ho is 34, and Min Byung-Gyu is 28 (stated in-game), then this would make Min Byung-Gyu be born in the year of the monkey.

Also based on this tweet (Long story short, Min Byung-Gyu is called a "gorilla-type healer" (based on a sketchy translator))

Lee Ju-Hee - Rabbit

The game says she's 22, but the novel says that she's 21, so I'll be going with 21

Scaling from Min Byung-Gyu's age, this would make Lee Ju-Hee a rabbit

Woo Jin-Chul - Rabbit

I headcanon Woo Jin-Chul to be 2 years older than Choi Jong-In, which would put him at 33 (he's rather young in the game when the novel states that he is older than that)

He's rather similar to a rabbit too. Just the vibe

Liu Zhigang - Rooster

Based on lobyu's headcanon that he is six years older than Woo Jin-Chul

Also, the rooster suits him. There's also a dragon, though that would make him rather young

Lim Tae-Gyu - Rat

So if Baek Yoon-Ho is 34, and Lim Tae-Gyu is 36 (from the game), then Lim Tae-Gyu would be born in the year of the rat

Sung Jin-Woo got silent and thought for a second for a good comeback.

The Norwegian Forest cat yowled at them and regained their attention. Balnim meowed in a warning tone from the tree branch where she was watching and hissing at them, preparing to attack them with her sharp claws.

"Ave María Purisima!"

The black-haired man turned to look at her with a confused look after not having understood what she had said. Was that English? However, in that small moment of distraction, Dalnim took the opportunity to throw herself at them, her claws ready to scratch their faces. Or more like aiming only at him.

Mini-review:

Full disclosure: I'm not a huge fan of BL dramas. They rarely work for me tbh, for a wide variety of reasons that I won't go into right now. From time to time I fall for people's raves about one of these shows, only to end up disappointed. And, while this one is better than average, it didn't impress me that much anyway. There's clearly a strong emotional core at the center of the story, but the episodes are too short and everything feels rushed. The thing that saves it is Lee Tae Vin's performance and his fantastic chemistry with Cha Joo Wan; it's thanks to them that the last two episodes hit a lot better than what comes before. But yeah, it's clear that BLs in general just aren't my thing.

Hello, Solo Leveling fandom.

I have a fic in mind I want to write but I need to gauge interest before signing myself up for a multi-chapter fic again because I have no fucking sense of control in my life, and apparently I wanted to suffer more than I already am.

De-aged Sung JinWoo has all his grotesquely overpowered skills but is WAY too young to be trusted with them - and his sister is freaking the fuck out because here is South Korea's 10th S-Rank, National Level Hunter, and she's wildly unqualified to handle this let alone raise a child. He's aged 7 or some shit, emotionally just as stoic, but she's unawakened and can feel an unsettling power rolling off him that she can only assume is his mana.

I plan on having their mother still in the midst of Eternal Sleep (I don't really care about sticking to canon timelines unless it's a Thing people want, might have Jeju Island Arch already happen. Might give Igris the ability to talk already, maybe he can already transform and has Ruler wings but is the Shadow Monarch so the colours are Gothic As Fuck, who's to say, not me that's for sure), so she does the only reasonable thing and panic calls the Korean Hunter's Association from JinWoo's phone. She can't be trusted to keep herself alive she should NOT be responsible for the world's strongest, and she's pretty sure the shadows shouldn't be trusted either. They are Monsters - literally - and if JinWoo is meant to be among Human Society and is Expected To Act Like A Human who better to call than the people in charge of Hunters?

They managed to wrangle her brother's reputation into something respectable, and they are strong too right? So if he throws a tantrum like the kids on their street do they can find a way to contain the damage. They basically do that with the current S-Rankers! What's one more????

Anyway, Woo JinChul and Go GunHe end up with a mini Sung JinWoo on their hands, and morbid curiosity leads them to try to find out what his actual skill sets are. Like hey! What could possibly go wrong?
