6-Harry Potter

An Au where everything is the same until Harry's third year when a student from another house(who it is, the year, the house can be whichever the writer wants but it can't be someone from gryffindor) goes to Gringotts to make an inheritance test and finds out that Harry is not Lily's child and that they were siblings/cousins besides being related to some other students and having no idea about it.

So said students decides to create a trend(maybe they are muggleborn or half-blood) which leads every students to go to Gringotts and do an inheritance teste were many secrets are revealed(like who they thought as their parents/siblings weren't, they had magical family, finding distant family members they never heard about)

Which leads to the students banging up together to find out the truth about why they had been raised by lies(yes, it will be a bad Dumbledore but I would like all Weasleys to be good...and by all I meant all and not make Percy the odd one out as most do...which never made sense to me in fics were Dumbledore is bad and they make Percy be in line with him when Percy is one of the canon characters to not truly believe Dumbledore and in his plans).

What is revealed in the inheritance tests, the ships, how they would destroy Dumbledore, etc is up to the writer but I request that Harry is not the heir of every powerful mage to ever exist as it gets tiring to see that(yes, he can be Peverell heir but maybe make Neville the Gryffindor one, Daphne the Slytherin one, Padma or Parvati could be the Ravenclaw one, Hannah be the Hufflepuff one, Luna could be Merlin's heir, Marcus could be Arthur Pendragon's, a hufflepuff could be Morgana's heir, etc...go crazy and run away from the usual choices people do, you can even go for ocs or barely mentioned characters).

I have this idea so clear in my head of an SakuAtsu / UshiTen fic in which Tendou and Atsumu accidentally stumble into a friends-with-benefits relationship after Ushijima and Sakusa announce their relationship.

It’s done following an Adlers-MSBY game and Atsumu puts on a happy face but leaves at the first opportunity to drown his sorrows in liquor in a bar where he doesn’t have to be surrounded by his congratulatory teammates and well wishes to the new couple.

Two drinks in, the stranger next to him swivels in his chair to face him with a commiseratory expression and says he recognizes a broken hearted stranger and let him buy him a drink.

Atsumu tries to wave off the guy, wanting to wallow alone, but the guy doesn’t seem care and buys him a drink anyway.

The man introduces himself as Satori, a name that tickles Atsumu memory but he ignores it. He has the glazed eyes of someone who has already had a fair share of liquor and rocks in his chair as he waxes poetic about how he flew out all the way from Paris to finally confess his feelings to his best friend from high school, only to show up at the bar his friend was celebrating at to find him celebrating his new relationship. He slipped out without a word, not wanting to ruin the mood with his broken heart.

It’s around their third shared drink that Atsumu reciprocates the gesture. Because hell, he’s drunk and heartbroken and this man is also drunk and heartbroken and maybe he just wants someone to listen. So he talks about Sakusa. His stupid hair and his stupid hand sanitizer and his stupidly flexible body and his stupidly handsome face and his stupid gloating smile when he wins and the stupid way he’s a germaphobe but still brings him medicine when he’s sick and all the things that made Atsumu fall stupidly in love with him, and now he’s stuck heartbroken bc the guy he’s in love with is now dating his high school crush and they’re probably gonna get married and have a stupidly beautiful wedding and live happily ever after.

And Satori listens to him and pats his back consolingly and suddenly Atsumu is kissing him because, fuck it, they’re both drunk and lonely and Sakusa is probably back at Ushijima’s place so why shouldn’t he have a little fun?

There’s hands and teeth and tongues, and the two of them somehow make it back to Atsumu’s room at the MYSB dorms and the rest of the night is a bit of a blur.

When Atsumu wakes up the next morning with a pounding hangover, to a surprised yelp from his door.

“Tendou-san! What are you doing in Atsumu’s room?”

Standing at the door with a bottle of aspirin and a bottle of water, is Hinata, slack-jawed and looking between Satori and Atsumu, and suddenly, the synapses in his brain that had been bogged down by liquor last night, start firing.

The redhead looks between Hinata and Atsumu. His expression in clear confusion, trying to figure out how Hinata is here, but Atsumu is already well aware who the red head standing in his boxers is.

Satori. Tendou Satori.

Tendou Satori who was the middle blocker and famous Guess Monster of Shiratorizawa.

Tendou Satori who is Ushijima Wakatoshi’s best friend who lives in Paris.

Sakusa is going to kill him.

Thus begins a comedy of errors in which Tendou and Atsumu try and disguise the fact that they’ve slept together from their respective unrequited loves, all the while Ushijima and Sakusa’s relationship grows tense as they both find growing discomfort in Atsumu and Tendou’s perceived closeness.

i sometimes get envious of pairings that have like a distinct "sun" character and "moon" character or dynamics like those because giovanni and rose are so,,, flexible when it comes to these tropes. they are both capable of being the sun and the moon for the other, in this case...

giovanni can be the moon for rose in the way he can be introspective, cold, and in shadows like that same moon at night... but his fiery passion does not feel cold or distant, its hot and gets all up in your face... it overwhelms like a dying sun. he places importance in the people that work in his organisation. he lacks the introversion that comes with a "moon" character

rose could be the sun for giovanni with his warmth, his friendly attitude, and his shining public presence, like the sun on a cloudless summer day. but there is only a very few people who knows rose under the surface, and he has this "complexity" to him that feels hard to figure out, the same way you could equate the moon to mystery and the unknown

so would it be more appropriate for giovanni to be like the dusk and rose be like the dawn? darkness with some daylight, and daylight with some darkness?

in any case, i am certain that giovanni sees himself as the moon but rose sees him as the sun, and rose sees himself as the sun but giovanni sees him as the moon ... perhaps they are able to see right through the others walls...

Personality: Laney is pretty chill and calm in general. Things don't get to her easily. They're more internal with their feelings and seem like the type who let's things go like water off of a duck's back, and generally that's the case. However, they do have a tendency to hold their emotions back and have big outbursts later on. Though when it comes to their opinions they've got them and they will be heard.

Laney's got a quiet kind of confidence. Polite even when they know their opponent has no chance in hell of beating them. They just let their opponent have the last word when they know they'll win in a race or a competition. It's rare that they shit-talk, but when they do I'm sure both Thad and Tommy are proud when it happens and when it's really scathing. Thad and Tommy are really supportive in the sense of letting them go a bit wild or being mischievous, but Laney is just "???" in that regard.

Special Talents: Super-speed and hand to hand combat. I think Laney's powers are a mix of the physicality that is associated with Tommy's speed and Speed Force based like Thad. So a bit of the best from both worlds of super speed. So even if she's without he speed powers she still has the physicality/physical prowess.

Headcanons: Enjoys skateboarding, snowboarding, and other physical sports that involve going fast or the world zipping past them. Laney's got future Olympian in their future in either skateboarding or snowboarding. She thinks any sprinting or track competition would be too easy for her.

Only lets their parents or incredibly close friends who have known them forever call them "Laney". Most people tend to call them "Lane".

Hi hey there! Not really writing outside hobby ttrpg stuff with friends, though some days I think about my writing and the stuff done here and the ideas I had. It's kinda why I haven't deleted this blog, yknow?

My MCD phase was really my HS / early college guilty pleasure, even though towards the end, I was there to be a menace and less of a good force in the Fandom.

Kinda outgrown that.

I heard on the grapevine Aph might turn MCD/Rebirth into a novel series and I salute to that. I might even purchase it if it comes out lol maybe, in a round about way, come back and write fanfics on ao3 while working my office job haha who knows! It seems most authors these days have a finger in the fanfic writing hobby
