2. Wildest theory you’d defend?

my own theory that daniil in quarantine is absolutely correct in that the letter sent by isidor (if it was sent by isidor) was a trap. i've said this many times but the kains needed someone from outside the town to help them achieve their goals, and if you choose the utopian ending as the bachelor, then it works out perfectly for them. proof that daniil is nothing but a tool to them: not only is he not in the utopian ending, but "maria" (nina) dismisses him before the final verdict is even given.

i could and would go on but i'm afraid i'd annoy people by repeating myself.

16. Have you ever tried to explain Pathologic to the uninitiated?

yeah actually, more than once! i've actually gotten... let's see... at least six people? interested in pathologic, which has required some explaining of what it's actually about. and i have also explained it to at least three more who had no intention of playing it. explaining it can be a little difficult and i'm definitely not a salesperson, but it can be worth it.

why did i say 'actually' four times.

24. What was your craziest misconception/funniest misunderstanding while figuring out the lore?

well until yesterday i thought characters were using the term 'orgy' literally to refer to a sex party (andrey saying 'yesterday's orgy was disgusting', or something to that effect). then my buddy explained that they were using the term to refer to the outbreaks of violence. i might be autistic.

imagine u havent spoken to ur dad in years and then he publishes a book about gay vampires that sells millions of copies and u decide "hey maybe he's gotten his shit together from his recent successes since the last time we spoke" so u meet up with him for lunch and he brings this 27 year old with him that he says he met in dubai. and ur really uncomfortable and trying to warn him that this kid is gonna steal all of his money as subtly as u can without ruining lunch. and at the same time ur trying to figure out why he's wearing colored contact lenses and acrylic nails and he's also like extremely cold and ur like "okay maybe he's just trying to find himself and it's kind of cold in here ... he's old ... old ppl are sensitive" and then u find out he's a fucking vampire and the 27 year old isn't the sugar baby but instead the sugar daddy
