Yellow (She/her) - 16 y.o. | A girl who knows everything about redstone, Minecraft commands and style. Has a twin sister Pinkie (Keep in mind that Pinkie is not a canon character. She's my AvM OC). Also Yellow has a partner Red

The Second Coming/TSC/Second/Orange (He/They) - 17 y.o. | A sleepyhead but somehow understands math and physics(unlike me ;v;). They're really overprotective over their friends and have their own powers but they're not aware of them(let's say AvA VI didn't happen yet). Chosen is Second's sister. Also Sec is in love with Purple

Blue (She/her) - 16 y.o. | Really knows her thing when it comes to brewing potions and gardening. Has bandages cuz AvM Ep. 20 events. Can get worried if anyone of the gang gets sick. Loves Green and his tunes

Red (He/him) - 15 y.o. | Apparently the youngest one of the group. He's a clumsy guy and also a prankster. Got possessed by Herobrine twice. Was in a timeout once cuz messed with Yellow's staff and the lucky block. Yellow is his girlfriend and Green is his brother. Oh and his pets are his friends

Purple (She/They) - 16 y.o. | A little shy but very nice girl. Considers MT as her older sister. Still has trust issues but is trying to fix it. Cherishes her dead mother Orchid and doesn't give a damn about her dad RB. Second is her boyfriend

MT/Mango Tango/Queen Orange (She/her) - 20 y.o. | A young adult who was a queen once just to destroy Minecraft cuz it took away her little brother Gold. Tries to move on from Gold's death and now considers Purple as her younger sis. She's on neutral terms with Color Gang. Her husband is actually an Enderman named Jacob (Tulip said that we can have our own Jacob so)

Gold (He/him) - 12 y.o. | A smol kid who is MT's brother and had unfortunately died from Minecraft. Observes his sister and spends his time with Orchid and Victim. Sometimes wishes he could hug MT one last time

Orchid (She/her) - 38 y.o. | A caring woman who is also Purple's mother. Has no empathy for RB cuz he left her and Purple. Unfortunately died from an unknown disease and now observes her child from above

Victim (They/Them) - 25 y.o. | A guy who never experienced life for once. Tries to develop themselves and find their own personality and hobbies. Currently is friends with Orchid and Gold

RB (He/him) - 40 y.o. | A ex-husband of Orchid and ex-dad for Purple. Left cuz he thought his daughter was "pathetic and would never protect herself from any danger"

Alan (He/him) - 35 y.o. | The creator himself of the whole AvA/M community. Considers Chosen and Second as his kids, but also has a real life family

The Dark Lord/TDL/Dark (She/her) - 18 y.o. | The terrorist of the whole Internet herself and Alan is her creator. She was created to defeat Chosen but she teamed up with them and confronted Alan. Somehow survived Second's attack and now is trying to change. Has a girlfriend Chosen

The Chosen One/TCO/Chosen (She/They) - 19 y.o. | The Chosen One herself who just wants to live peacefully with Dark after all the trauma she endured. Saved a kid once and now friends with her. Is currently being wanted by Rocket Corporation. Dark is her girlfriend

Another Master hot-take:

Putting Dhawan's Master between Simm and Gomez does a huge disservice to all three incarnations.

Missy's entire personality is carved out of Simm!Master's character arc. And Dhawan's personality is carved out of Missy's character arc.

His incarnation was all about exploring why the Master turned to evil in the first place, while also being too spiteful to consider reconciling with the Doctor. Hence why he's enraged at the very thought of the Doctor's forgiveness, and chooses to die just to hurt the Doctor that little bit more. He finally discovers the truth of what he is, and while he rightfully directs his anger at Rassilon rather than the Doctor, he's still too spiteful to consider standing with the Doctor, and murders his future self to prevent it.

So, he wakes up as Missy, with no recollection of the events on the colony ship, but plenty of memories of The End of Time and an understanding of why she is the way she is. But now the spite and pettiness has gone. Now she understands why their friendship went sour in the first place, she has no reason to fight and oppose the Doctor, so she seeks instead to reconcile with him, albeit in The Master's typically twisted way, and with her typical narcissism. And in the end, she becomes someone that is not kind, at least not in the way the Doctor wants her to be, but values their friendship enough to try.

Sticking Dhawan in-between them throws that character arc away completely. If Simm regenerated into Dhawan and discovered the Timeless Child, he would still be insecure and bitter that he couldn't be the Doctor's equal, but the spite and arrogance from Simm would've boiled over to the point he would've killed the Doctor straight away. (This would've happened with Missy too if she'd discovered the Timeless Child early in her incarnation). It's only because Missy so badly wanted to stand with the Doctor as equals ("A friendship older than your civilisation and infinitely more complex") that he's so hurt that they aren't equals at all. That's why the only way out for him is designed for them to die together. Because he doesn't want to live if he can't stand with the Doctor as her equal.

It's ultimately a beautiful and intricate character arc, told by three fantastic writers, brought to life by three wonderful actors, with incredible heart and emotion poured into it by Murray Gold and Segun Akinola's compositions.

Ginkgo Trees Masterlist

Every day I am more baffled but proud of how popular this fic has gotten, to the point we have AUs and separate side stories and even a couple retcons (mainly in regards to the kids). As such, and because ginkgo trees itself holds such a special place in my heart, it gets its own masterlist.

ALSO; if you notice something missing, chances are I didn’t feel like it was big enough to specifically link. I’m mostly linking the fics, longer headcanon lists, as well as any super important info such as the family tree or other details. I don’t think I can link every individual ask, I’m not that patient and I’m pretty sure tumblr has a limit to how many links I can add to a text post.

As Gold as the Ginkgo Trees: Morax/Reader slowburn fic set during the Archon War, where reader (or Wifey as we call them) is arranged to marry Morax in exchange for protection of their village and monastery. Rated mature because there’s smut near the end as well as swearing, but the fic is generally pg-13. I suggest reading this first before proceeding because the rest will a) spoil the fic and b) not make much sense without context.

This blog is very early days, like made ten minutes ago early days, so don't worry too much if things on it change. We've quite the collection of Ava/m au's, and will slowly be putting what content we have of them out. We'd love to hear your thoughts on all content we have, including your own idea's and what-if's within each au. What we have is mostly writing, but there's a few bits of art lying around. Also I've been saying "We" this whole time, and that's because there's two people managing this blog. Myself, Sabre. And my friend Styck (@styck-figure) whom you may know from their StyckFics, highly recommend you go check those out they're awesome. We will be doing our best to tag our posts with who made what and who replied to what ask, with the tags #ModSabre and #ModStyck. You can direct an ask at one of us by simply saying you want that specific mod to answer (e.g. For Styck, Sabre I have a question for you). Or you can leave it up to luck of the draw. Sabre uses they/them Styck uses any pronouns Most of the content we have is pre-written, and Styck is busy with College and may not be active much. Though we are still very insane about our Au's and the Sticks within. Some examples of our Au's: Space Orc Au - The hollowheads are humans, family, and separated. In space edition. The lack of belief that humans possess sentience is helping none of them. Mer Au - CG, Kingduo, and Gold are all merfolk! Hollowheads are something else. This is one of our Au's where Gold is alive :] (It's also full of self indulgent grapeship) Fae Au- Purple and Dark are Fae. Dark rules the summer court. CG have all gotten themselves stuck in different Courts and now Second needs to go collect their idiot family. Gold lives and Chosen is here too. This is one of our Au's with multiple timelines within the same concept. We'll be tagging each au with its own tag, which should hopefully be linked to this masterpost as they come out.
