I'm specifically atm looking for a completely non religious meditative practice (I should've been more clear in my original post oops). It's not that I'm opposed per se, in the long run, of this morphing into a religious devotion, but in the meantime, I'm a mess and half the reason I NEED this is because of religion in the first place.

So I'm looking for something not christian, but not specifically tied to any other religion either. Ofc I can realize that historically xyz whatever developed out of such and such religion. But I'm really seeking a holistic kind of practice here, separate from religion.

(Or, inasmuch as anything can be separate from religion. I should perhaps distinguish between religion as the institution and faith as the individual soul, even tho that is a gross oversimplification and kinda incorrect. My point being, I'm definitely a "everything is intimately connected in the woven fabric of the universe and so every action, no matter how small, toward no matter how insignificant a good, has the touch of the divine upon it" kinda person. So really. /Nothing/ is truly separate from faith for me. But I definitely don't want anything explicitly religious rn. I'm already having too many panic attacks abt that and fighting the urge to throw up or pass out constantly)
