Honestly being anxious to drive is so normal, so don't worry about it vivi!! Idk about the place you live in, but if you wanna drive, you should learn it continuously without stopping so your brain doesn't forget! If i remember correctly, my brother learned how to drive in one week (like actually driving a car and all that) continuously, because if he did stop, he could forget some stuff :o so i kinds think it's a matter of do u want to do it or do you reeeeaalllyyy want to do it?

EPISODE 6 - ZOMBIE GAME (PART 1)

Ah well. I didn't hold out much help for Rose, especially given how luck-based the DM was. I tried to run some practice matches with her, but our schedules didn't line up at all, so she did it with others (I am presently unaware of whom). Still, folding after a huge bid with a possible straight on the board......girl did you learn nothing......smh. Oh well, not a big loss (at least for me LOL). Seems like it was a long DM though so, in seriousness, props to both of them for the amount of dedication they put in to the Match it was really a Genius moment and it proved that these people are truly here to play if I doubted it! As for this Main Match......oh boy. It's like Werewolf Game but with way, way, way, less information. I know that Katie is a Zombie and kind of want to work with her for a Zombies win, but she seems really reticent about that idea. Which I get, sure, it makes sense but it'll probably be a dull ending as a result, because zombies really need to capitalise on Round 1 to be able to have enough of the cast infected, so their infectees can spread infection in R2 and 3, so on and so forth. Unfortunately, that likely won't happen, but I'll still try and be infected because I don't want to be last. The mechanics of it mean that it looks like there'll be a human solo win (too many variables and unknown quantities at the moment, but I guess you never know for sure). Therefore, assuming there are multiple humans left alive, my odds of being in the DM are at their lowest (excluding a win, which I feel is unlikely) if I'm simply a zombie - slightly higher than 1/6, as there will be 11 eligible players, of whom 2 will enter the DM. As long as like...Grey isn't EC I should be safe from being picked. Which would be great! I'd be at the *start* point of a standard The Genius ORG. Oh boy. This'll be a long game.

OKAY SO Jack knows that Katie is a zombie too. Jack apparently knows I know, but he hasn't actually discussed it with me at all, so that's neither here nor there. The point is he threw me into an alliance chat of us three, plus Nele, Gage, and Govind - presumably under the intention of ensuring all five of us get infected by zombies. He's apparently reallllly pushing for a zombie win (wow jack and katie are working together again colour me fucking shocked), moreso than she actually is, which I find amusing. I am MORE THAN HAPPY to play along with this tbqh and I've been touching tons of people because like....if I become a zombie that's cool! That's what I wanted all along LMFAO, so there's no real risk. If I somehow win, I get a Token of Life, so that's cool! But that has a vanishingly low chance of happening, so most likely I became a safely ensconced zombie. And maybe also become an infection vector too! That'd be fun. Typhoid Mary is a cute look on me,  methinks! Hopefully it delivers a good result as well hehe

Zombie Game's over, the result is kind of as expected. It seems like there was an attempt to put together a humans joint win, which I wasn't included on (presumably because people thought I'd become a zombie - Kate explained the group theorised that Cooper was one of the initial zombies, despite that making absolutely zero sense given the fact only one zombie got infected at the end of Round 1), but I'm fine with that because big human joint wins in Zombie Game are...fickle. Especially in ORGs, where a lot of the challenge happens while you're asleep or otherwise busy, hence meaning it's even harder to keep track of everything that's going on in what is already a rather opaque challenge. That's why I essentially abandoned any ambitions of winning and instead chose to not touch anyone in R3 and just become a zombie. I knew that Grey and Katie were zombies, but not the identity of the third, and their first round essentially crippled any hope the zombies had of winning this Match, so I had to just throw my lot in with being safe, not a ToL holder. I chose to just not touch anybody in Round 3, and zombify that way, in the hope it'd lull a false sense of security into some humans about their odds of being last, but I don't think that worked at all. What did work, and very fortuitously indeed, is that we ended up with only a single winner! This is great for my odds, because with only two Tokens of Life floating around, there are 11 potentially targets for the ECs to pick 2 people from, so I have relatively good odds of surviving with my Token of Immortality intact, if viewed from a purely probability perspective. But, alliteration aside, what's the fun in that? Let's drill down. There are five possible ECs. I'm absolutely certain one of them will pick me as DMO. I'm absolutely certain three more won't. The fifth is a mystery. To elaborate, Nele will absolutely pick me as DMO. She doesn't reply to my messages, will go days without talking to me, and I find her incredibly dull. Obviously, she finds me just as dull, and as a result will almost certainly pick me for EC, because the results of the ranking MM indicates that I'm somewhat peculiar in having a horrible social relationship with her, so I'll likely stand out as a good target from her point of view. My confidence is mildly bolstered by the fact that she's displayed relatively poor game sense so far in the MMs, but it's really not enough to make an accurate judgement of, I could very well lose in a DM to her. So I'd rather avoid it if at all possible. I don't think Ruthie is super likely to pick her, but....I really don't know what she is super likely to do, I don't have a great read on Ruthie, I just like talking to her lmao. The three that won't pick me are Luke, Cora, and Kate. If any of them do I'll eat my words (and a lot of humble pie), but I really don't think they're likely to pick me in a DM. I also don't expect Ruthie to select Cora or Kate for the DM, but I could potentially see her picking Luke (He was absent for a little while and has mentioned to me about there being people that really want him out for whatever reason.) Thankfully, Luke is the person I am MOST confident won't pick me, so that's great. I think I could beat Kate in things that aren't maths (I'm pretty sure she told me she's very good at maths, so that's something to keep an eye out for). Cora has gotten last a fair few times, but I don't think she has bad game sense. My main advantage against Cora would be preparation time tbqh, but that's unreliable given I'm in exams season woooo. Finally, Gage. Gage is, as always, a massive fuckin wildcard. I'm almost certain he will be in the Death Match one way or another, and 99% it'll be by Ruthie throwing him in. Who will he pick? NO FUCKING CLUE! At the beginning of this round, Gage expressed an interest in working with me throughout this MM. It kind of fell through because of lack of wake-time overlap and the general intractable nature of this Match, so I hope that isn't interpreted as a lack of interest in keeping a working relationship going, because I do like the guy....insofar as I know him, because he isn't exactly around. Hopefully that offer means eh won't turn around and immediately throw me in with him, but you never know with Gage! For all I know, he might have sent that message to everyone! I'm vexed! In seriousness, he most likely won't but he is just very difficult to read. I also have absolutely no inkling of how good he will be at any Death Match, because I haven't seen him offering any theorycrafting attempts at any of the MMs so far, so I just don't know how keen his game sense is, or how willing he is to iterate and develop strategies. If anything, this might be a good litmus test for a game relationship with Gage. My theory is that this will be a puzzle DM (more on that in a sec), so that'll be good at determining a lot of more instinctual elements of The Genius, as well as desire to practice and prepare for DMs, as opposed to the more critical thinking, theorycrafting elements of the more complex MMs (if we ever actually get complex MMs. We're probably ~2 rounds out before we'll start moving away from these really simple ones, but we will see....) Gage himself is confident he's going in, but that could be just self-deprecation/anxiety speaking, idk. I'll see if I can root around in his head and work out what he'd do as EC, and hopefully dissuade any notions of picking me. Going back to that note I made earlier, I'm expecting this DM to be a puzzle one (and personally my money is on Gyul! Hap!), because most of the strategic/social DMs would be very poorly optimised for 4 people, and I expect we're a little ways away from using originally designed Matches specifically for this season. Something like Mystery Sign is plausible, but probably too hard for this stage of the game, so I'll be keeping an eye out for her later on. So, at the moment, I'm anticipating puzzles. I'm pretty okay at Set, the game that Gyul! Hap! is based on, so that gives me some hope, and I'm overall fairly strong in puzzles too, so that's great! But really this is all conjecture. For now I'll just focus on minimising my chances of being a competitor in the DM at all. Then if and only if that fails, I'll focus on ensuring I survive once I'm there. For now, prophylactic play is most certainly the best policy.
