Bringing this to Tumblr because I feel like yapping tonight. So, much to our chagrin and delight, Andy Biersack has been more active on Twitter lately. Today he tweeted the following tweet:

(The quotes on this one are nasty btw) the tl;dr of that tweet is, that Andy did not want his name associated with people shitting on TX2 given the fact that he himself was on the receiving end of relentless, baseless hate back in the early 2010s. The problem people had with this tweet is that TX2 has done all sorts of questionable shit that Andy is evidently unaware of.

TX2 used the death of Nex Benedict to promote his song, has made school shooting jokes on TikTok, fetishizes goth women, and basically told someone to k*ll themselves in the breakdown of one of his songs among a whole host of other things.

As is the case with the internet, it’s easy to miss things that happen. Especially if you’re not chronically online or you don’t frequent TikTok or Twitter. This isn’t one of those situations where literally everyone knows and if you don’t you’re ether willfully ignorant or live under a rock. Yet, people are still attacking him, saying he’s online enough to know and he should’ve done research about TX2 before defending him online (have y’all ever done research before tweeting??).

I would like to say that while I absolutely don’t support TX2, I think that Andy’s position is valid. It’s completely understandable that he doesn’t want to be dragged into the TX2 hate when he himself has been there and knows what it was like to be flipped off at festivals or have shit thrown at BVB.

This situation kind of mirrors the situation on Twitter with Lilith when there was a thread will a bunch of stuff that she had done that went viral and he addressed it on The Andy Show. Both times, someone was being hated on for valid reasons and Andy saw it fit to defend them from what he understood as baseless hate rather than genuine criticism.

You were in the library, studying for a test. Yes, O.W.L.s were happening and you had potions tomorrow. Of course you were nervous as fuck, because you were terrible at potions. Suddenly someone hugged you from behind and you squealed. You were so concentrated, that you didn't find someone behind you. "George", you groaned. You didn't mean to be rude but you've been sat at the same table for hours and you were really tired. "Hey, gorgeous. Grumpy are we?", he asked, as he moved you round so you were facing him."Sorry.I've just been studying so much for potions and..." You trailed off as he hugged you again. "Hey, it's ok", he said rubbing circles on your back, knowing how stressed you were. "You're coming with me", he said lifting you up out of your chair. "But my work and..." He cut you of with a sweet kiss. Then, leaving your stuff behind l, he snuck you into his dorm.

Luckily there was nobody there. When you were there he set you down on his bed. "Now love, what's the matter?", he asked. Your heart melted at the simple question. He could tell there was something wrong. "I know you are hiding it, please tell me.", he added. And that sentence was the last straw. You broke. Everything that was on your mind came out, even if it made no sense at all. George, being a loving boyfriend, simply held you through your tears. After a while, when you had said everything that was on your mind, he pushed you back on the bed but never let go of you. "Don't worry, love. It will be all over in a couple of days and we can relax. You should get some sleep" "Don't leave me", you said. "Of course not, gorgeous"

You fell asleep very quickly and slept in his dorm the whole night. George made sure you were asleep before saying goodnight, pulling you in and after kissing your forehead, he fell asleep too.

Let's just say that after a good night's sleep you aces the potions O.W.L. with an E (Exceeds Expectations).

Hello chapter 7 of Beyond!! Girl the only animated film I can give you right now (in the spirit of my usual animated film comparison) would be the brave little toaster - except its an oven (was there even an oven in that film???) AND THIS CHAPTER WENT FROM SIMMER TO BOILING!!! Omg I like screeched when I saw you posted (my husband was like “you okay there???” Yes and also no! Ahaha). First off I love how we started the chapter with such yearning - reader wondering if Steve had regrets while also imagining what if they had gone further than the kiss in the gala, while Steve is just like how can he show much she means to him and how much she makes him feel. Love that little note with the roses! He really is the best doggy dad! But then we took it up a notch - that candle lit dinner date!!! (I cackled at the “We’re married,” part). I’m so happy that they’re on the same page with their feelings - YES YES (fake marriage?? Who are they fooling?!) “Pleasure doing business with you, Mrs. Harrington.” I thought I was done swooning from the last chapter, thank you for proving me wrong✨ The hurt and comfort part was so satisfying and tender, and I’m weak for tenderness so I obviously ate that shit up. So also thank you for that. The goodnight kisses are just chef’s kiss. Then FINALLY THE BOILING POINT, THAT KITCHEN COUNTER SCENE. I think my heart stopped but also somehow my eyes could not stop reading until they got to the end. I don’t know how thats possible, given that I’m in healthcare, but I can assure you that’s what happened. Do I hate Steve Harrington?? (“I’m sure you do,” he practically sing-songs,”). The point is - that ending was 🔥🔥🔥 and I’m here for it. Can I just say how much I am loving Beyond?! Because I really do :)

OKAY. I’M THE WORST. I haven’t been in my inbox in a couple days because I haven’t really been on tumblr except to drop in here and there (things have been hectic lol)

BUT. Things are definitely heating up. We went from a simmer to a boil and…well, who knows what’s gonna happen next. Hehe. I mean, obviously I do but that’s half the fun.
