Slugcat Shipruary 3 - Full Moon

Using my OWN designs this time... yippee! This is an edited version of my Gourmand design (made it lighter) and I adapted an old Nightcat design of mine to better fit this style (+ my theme of making this look like 🌖. you know)

Uhmmm ngl this ship grew on me a lot drawing this. As I've said before I have a soft spot for it since it was one of the first I thought about <3 So among the adjustments, I made Nightcat a bit chunkier, as I imagine Gourmand spoils the colony once they come home with so many new foods and recipes. Nightcat reads the stars to help their colony navigate the world. I imagine maybe they're somewhat of an inventor like Gourmand is, so they are always learning off of each other, though Gourm spends more time leading the group and Nightcat has more time to experiment with the new plants and objects they find on their travels. Also i think Nightcat would have the Mark of Communication from the beginning <3

Made a slug st. Au relationship chart, note that there's a few more characters in the AU, I just didn't want to add them into the chart because that would be .. A lot. Also, *most* slugs in the AU will already know each other with the exception of Saint, Enot and Nightcat, who in the case of Enot, are just not well known in the community, but in the case of NC and Saint, have reputation that would make slugs hesitant to interact with them. No lines just means that I haven't thought of their dynamic yet or I didn't find it notable enough to use a line for- if I used a line for every single dynamic we'd be here all day.

For the ship game questions I have maybe two or three?

First Ship: Sugar Cane (Survivor X Saint)

I know that the survivorX Saint ship is problematic for many because of his age, but for me it is very nice, although clearly he would already be a fairly adult survivor in that case.

Second Ship: FullMoon (Nightcat/Watcher X Gourmand)

Don’t Ship It

I prefer them non romantically.

1. Why don’t you ship it?

I really like the idea of Saint taking on an apprentice the apprentice being surv or monk. And Survivor doesn't like the vibes Saint gives off.

2. What would have made you like it?

Non romantic relationship.

3. Despite not shipping it, do you have anything positive to say about it?

I think it's kinda cute, but I just prefer the other version.

Gourmand is a kind soul to all. Watcher didn't have a particular interest in Gourm until Gourm started feeding them like a stray cat.

2. What are your favorite things about the ship?

Gourm is just so nice and I feel like they would be the only one who lets Watcher keep their boundaries up.

3. Is there an unpopular opinion you have on your ship?

Yet again the personality of Watcher.
