ok i kind of get why desmond just doesn't say anything about defining certain histsci terms because I'm literally going to be here all day if i have to start unpacking that evolution is not teleological. like everyone has to spend at least 10 pages cumulatively saying that "guys, the 1860 oxford debate does not mean that science triumphed over religion. actually a lot of evolutionists were religious. Politische Stimmung von Wahlrecht.de (also nicht die hochgerechnete Projektion):

Wenn keiner taktisch wählen würde, läge die Linke gerade bei 8% und wäre garantiert im Bundestag. Jedesmal, wenn ihr also das "taktisch wählen" aus dem achte Klasse Gemeinschaftskundeunterricht auspackt (das sich übrigens nur auf die Erststimme bezog weil nur dort ein Mehrheitswahlrecht gilt), dann kämpft ihr dafür, dass linke Stimmen nicht mehr im Bundestag repräsentiert sind!

Wir sind hier nicht in den USA. Wir haben ein anderes Wahlsystem. Alles, was letzte Woche passiert ist, hat die CDU aus der Opposition heraus veranstaltet. Und wir wählen nicht die Regierung, wir wählen den Bundestag, und damit auch die Opposition - und die ist wichtig. Jede Koalition mit der CDU ist eine rechte Koalition. Das ist nicht Merkels harmlose Muttipartei die man sechzehn Jahre lang ausgehalten hat. Das ist eine rechte Partei die das Asylrecht torpedieren will, die das Bürgergeld minimieren will, die uns alle Sicherheiten nehmen will, auch mal Nein zum Chef sagen zu können, und Blackrock freuts. Und SPD und Grüne werden da mit machen, wenn es ihnen eine Mehrheit ermöglicht (schaut mal was mit dem Bürgergeld passiert ist) und haben sie in der Groko schon immer getan, die Regierung *wird* scheiße und wird nur schlimmer schlimmer wenn niemand in der Opposition vorhanden ist, um deren Rechtsruck aufzuzeigen und sie an ihr Wort zu halten, denn die deutsche Massenmedienlandschaft beweist ja gerade, dass sie es nicht tun wird.

Ich weiß, das hier ist die "gays who can't drive"/"don't own a car" website, aber PSA weil mich das immer zu Kopfschütteln veranlasst: Wenn man einen Unfall hat, sollte man das Warndreieck ungefähr die Durchschnittsgeschwindigkeit in Metern entfernt aufstellen (heißt: 50m innerorts, 100m außerorts und 150m auf der Autobahn! (Tipp, die schwarz-weißen Begrezungspfosten stehen üblicherweise 50m auseinander!)), damit andere Autofahrer das Dreieck auch tatsächlich sehen und darauf reagieren können, bevor sie einen potenziellen Auffahrunfall verursachen. Das heißt, wenn das Auto kurz hinter der Kurve liegen bleibt, dann darf das Warndreieck auch gerne noch ein bisschen weiter entfernt stehen - wenn ich um die Kurve komme, das Warndreieck sehe und auch schon im Kofferraum des liegengeblieben Autos sitze, steht das Warndreieck da FALSCH.

i feel like such an asshole for saying this because everyone in my life is so so kind and supportive but like im at my max stress capacity. i cannot receive another email. i need to simply put my phone on airplane mode for the next 18 days until i hit that beautiful sexy submission button. i cannot do or think about anything EXCEPT this document or im going to have a catastrophic meltdown. i need those lil horse blinders
