In your fanfic, The Grass is Always Greener, who is the pink ninja(the Element of Surprise) in the Show!verse? I know it's not Morro. Movie!Morro was still in Movie-land at the time, and the other one's dead.

Yes, there is a Fuchsia Ninja in the show-verse who is not Morro or any of the EMs, and they showed up one time for that one joke. They might someday turn up again for more jokes. With so many people in pink on Chen's island right now, who's really keeping track.

As for who they are, we may never know...

1. Yes, some heated internal battle, and still things are piling up. You will be hanging by a thread to defend yourself, keep you sane. 2. Yes trouble comes in as you passionately defend your idea or inspiration. Not everyone can see the potential that you see and it is tough to stand your ground. Not to worry you are quite fierce that you will give them a challenge. Prepare yourself for whatever is coming, but I don't think I need to tell you that 🥔

3. Yes, there is some legality or issues with the society that will be settled. It involves an overturning or added clarification to a version of truth or testimony. Something is changing. Stay focused and stay fearless. Stand by your truth, even a storm can't wash that away. Eventually this is good for you, this is part of your expansion 🥩

How did you come up with the idea for your Grass is Greener fic?

I saw the movie first and then watched the show. Ever since I'd wanted to see how the two very different versions of Lloyd would react to each other and started looking for fics about that. The idea really started getting going when I read  lloydskywalkers fic It's Me (Version 2-point-0) on fanfiction.net. In it a pre-March of the Oni Show Lloyd meets post-Movie Lloyd to take down a creative imagining of the Oni. It was just a plot bunny that wouldn't go away after seeing how mature late-seasons Lloyd was when interacting with M!Lloyd, and it got me wondering, 'Hey, what if they met when S!Lloyd was still a kid, and M!Lloyd was the mature one?'

At the time it was more of a story-I-wish-someone-else-would-write than a story I wanted to write myself. But then I read and commented on KayHau's fic My Dad is Bad but Still Family, and she responded in a way that launched a whole discussion about her story and I inadvertently became a beta reader for it (and some other Ninjago fics she wrote too). And while we were talking, I mentioned that plot bunny that had been niggling in my head, and she thought it was a great idea, and the more we talked about it, the more the idea grew and I found myself wanting to write more and more, until I actually did, there-by making Kay Hau my beta reader for it. I have to say, without her feedback, enthusiasm, and ideas, the story would definitely not be as long as it already is, and I'm very grateful for that.

And thus The Grass is Always Greener and all subsequent Ninjago fics of mine were written, and I had tons of fun doing it. I hope I can get back on the wagon someday to continue writing it, but right now I'm a bit burned out on Ninjago.
