i think the biggest problem for him, is that he just deeply struggles listening to his very own desires and hopes. he has this constant back and forth between prioritizing himself, or other people. that leaves him undecided and at a crossroad.

he needs to realize, that hurting someone in his circumstances, is basically inevitable. solely going after what he wants for himself does not make him selfish. the longer he goes on with leaving things unsure, the more pain it'll end up causing to the people around him, which will result in him feeling even guiltier and awful about himself.

i actually feel for him a lot. it seems to stress him out a lot.. got a huge wave of sadness while reading and writing.

I haven’t been here for forever and occasionally I may check back in every now and then just to release some thoughts. I am still not over the fact that Girls’ Generation lost a very precious member, Jessica Jung. I was a big fan of the TaengSic ship so I’m hugely affected by this, and still is to this day. The investigations lead down to OT8 and their parents influencing the agreement that Jessica will be kicked out of SNSD. I honestly feel like some of the members were influenced by their parents’ decision or they couldn’t do anything about it honestly. Asian culture in general is to highly respect your parents, without a doubt. So I’m sure the other members were forced to decide to kick Jessica out because of their parents.

A lot of Sones are going to believe what they want to believe and this is my sole opinion. Taeyeon, Yuri, and Sooyoung apparently were among the ones who voted her out. Yoona and Seohyun were the ones to disagree although Yoona soon was compromised into agreeing with her older members.

I feel bad for what happened to Jessica. I feel like it is unfair for the other members’ parents to influence their children and vote her out just because Jessica is successful with her Blanc and Eclare. It wasn’t her fault she wanted to pursue a fashion business. If they were that greedy, they could have easily opened one themselves and SM Entertainment would support it, just like how SM Entertainment never stopped Jessica from opening up Blanc and Eclare. Jessica paid her necessary dues to the company but the others’ parents were driven with greed.

Greed? Yes. It seems as though they were jealous that Jessica would probably be the richest member out of all of them. It angers me that parents even have an influence with the group’s decisions. Why be greedy at the peak of your daughters’ career? What did SNSD get after that? They plummeted. The group was divided. Nobody really believed in OT9 anymore. Even the Sone fandom fought against each other because of what happened.

I’m not going to blame Golden Stars (Jessica’s fandom) for protecting and defending her. I, as a Taeyeon stan, do believe Taeyeon was definitely one of the girls who voted her out. It was pretty evident that they don’t have as close of a relationship together. They have their highs and lows like a bipolar person. I am deeply hurt to even know or believe that Taeyeon would be one of the members to agree with expelling Jessica from the group.

They really messed up with forcing Jessica out of the group. SNSD will never be the same for me. I’ve always known them as OT9. It’s very upsetting, still to this day, when Sept 30, 2014 happened. I still support Taeyeon in her solo activities, but it will forever sit with me to believe that her parents probably influenced her a lot to make that decision to kick her out. Taeyeon was, after all, the main vocal.

Believe your opinions but I will stick with mine after thorough research. All of us do not actually know what happened unless you were there when Jessica got kicked out of the group, unless you were OT8, and unless you were part of the SM Entertainment. I will never probably find the answers everyone as well wants to look for until maybe years from now or probably never...

If you are against my opinion, please present me with facts... when the facts are literally all across the internet, even Dispatch’s removed article and Jessica’s deleted Weibo post.

I wish Jessica the best of luck in her career and I will continue to support Taeyeon’s solo career. I wish the rest of the girls with their solo careers as well. (Hyo’s DJ career be poppin’)

What was the jessica gate?

girl’s generation was at some point the biggest korean girl group. there were nine members. since around 2011 the relationship between jessica and taeyeon, and jessica and yuri deteriorated. at that time we didn’t think it was a big deal, we speculated about what happened and we made jokes.

in 2014 the members were discussing contract renewals. some of the richer members brought their parents with them. that year jessica started a business. at first she was selling sunglasses but later she expanded her business to include clothes and skincare. anyway sm their record label had no problems with this, jessica wasn’t the first employee to start another business, and we thought the members were fine with it, jessica thought that too. we know negotiations were tough but we all assumed everything would go smoothly because girl’s generation was all about sisterhood. everyone (with a few exceptions) loved each other. even the strained relationships were starting to improve that year.

then on sept 30 2014 hours before a fanmeeting in china (i think), jessica went weibo and said she was suddenly and unexpectedly thrown out of the group and that it was members’ who made that decision and not sm. jessica was at the airport when she got the news btw. she was going to the fanmeeting at 4 am if i remember correctly.

everyone knew immediately who was behind it (taeyeon, tiffany, yuri, sooyoung, possibly sunny and hyoyeon but mostly those 4). there was a huge uproar. gg stans started a campaign to slander jessica. dispatch (a tabloid) made this huge article about it protecting sm from the backlash. apparently, jessica was supposed to leave the group for her business in 2014 but she changed her mind and signed a 3 year contract and apparently some of the parents hated this arrangement because jessica would make more money than the others since she was a lead singer with public recognition. i still don’t see what she did wrong but people were calling her greedy for having a business and wanting to stay in the group.

anyway jessica became depressed because of this. she trained for 7 years and spent 7 years in that group. 14 years of her life was dedicated to that group. the company and other members started erasing her. she had to start all over. since then her brand has been worn by many celebs, she has picked up endorsements, acted in movies, had her own shows, released albums, etc.

taeyeon turns then, eyes still glassy and expression closed. ❝ i miss your lips. ❞

would kibum burn cities to the ground for this person? would he find it in himself to get his hands stained with blood if taeyeon asked him to? 

three steps separate them. they are easy to cross when taeyeon calls to him like this, their voice the only song that can enchant him out of the world. three steps are all that keep them apart. in this space between them, destiny can still spill in-between to keep them apart. it’s kibum who ends the distance and chooses to fall into madness. hands cup taeyeon’s face between as hazel eyes fix on caramel hues. their skin is warm under his cool fingertips, soft like their heart has stopped being around the edges.

the singer is greedy, wishes he could steal taeyeon away, keep them here, with him, away from the temptress that this violence represents. he wishes he could take their heart in his hands and cover it with the kind of love that surrounded them when they were teens, still unaware of the torture of adulthood and bad decisions. but those times are so past them – unreachable in the abyss of time.

kibum leans in, absorbs the breath of life passing through, ends with a mind hazed by despair and love. he wonders, distantly, if there’s a way to make taeyeon steer away from the path of violence they have chosen. the idea dies in his mind the more he looks at his lover. this is what keeps them apart, this is the stroke of destiny sealing their fate as a tragedy bound to exist. 

he angles his face and lips crash into one another. he kisses taeyeon with strength, the act of volition that can’t cease when his heart burns like this. he backs them against the wall and kisses and kisses them until their minds spiral down the path of extinction. he doesn’t tell taeyeon he loves them. he shows them instead. devours them with tender hands and a covetous heart. he tries to inundate taeyeon’s senses, tries to take them away from his world of brutality, and hopes, hopes, hopes he can reach their heart again as they love each other in the dark.

Kdrama Review

Title: Hotel De Luna

Rating: 11/10 (Ongoing)

What i love about this series is, Everything. yeah, EVERYTHING! 💕 I love how IU can be Sassy and Sweet at the same time. I love how Yeo Jin Goo can be Manly but Afraid of ghost. hahaha! 😂😍 I love how the other cast shine throughout the series. Everyone have their own unique stories to tell. 👏👏👏

The story is about Jang Man Weol who’s a thief in her early life but then fell in love with the head Guard of the queen. the Guard betrayed her and the one she loved the most died. that’s when she decide to take revenge. Because of her resentment and sins she became the owner of Hotel De Luna. It’s a Hotel for the ghost. Man Weol became immortal and live for about 1000 yrs now. Ku Chan Seong is the Manager in the Hotel, he’s the only human who works there. Their complicated love story began when she started to change because of him.

Jang Man Weol who’s beautiful but fickle, suspicious and greedy. She’s the CEO of Hotel De Luna. She’s stuck in the hotel because of her wrongdoings in the past. IU really portrays her character well. She’s so cute but sassy at the same time. Her fashion is always on point, like every outfit she’s killing it. (Stylist, Thank you!) 😍 I love how she’s so cute then change into a savage queen while talking to Yeo Jin Goo. 😂😍 And when she runs, omg! soooo cuuutee! 😍😍 Plus of course, she’s really pretty! Gorgeous! 💜

Ku Chan Seong, a honest man. He’s kind and smart. He’s manly but coward when it comes to ghosts. (and that’s what makes him funny) 😂😂 He’s afraid of ghost but not Man Weol. He can control Man Weol’s bipolar disorder hahaha! Yeo Jin Goo fits the character well. It looks like he’s not acting and just being himself. hahaha! He’s so handsome omg. 😍 And i watched the bts, i love how he always make IU smile and laugh. it’s a lovely scene. 💕

Other characters are great too! 💕 Their stories can make you cry and focused more on the drama not just because of the lead actors. I’m rooting for Ji Hyun Joong and Kim Yoo Na’s love story. 😍 Mi ra and Yeon woo! fighting! 💕 kudos to Chan Seong’ bff, Sanchez! 💕 I love how they put the cast together and made it a family. 👏👏👏

Plus the OST’s! 😍 wow! I can’t pick what’s my favourite. first I love Taeyeon’s and then i heard Heize, then the other ost’s and then there’s IU. mygahd. 😍

Thank You for the whole cast and crew! Really. PD-nim, give us a happy ending or at least a reasonable one. jaebal! 🙏

hi angel!! i haven’t really read many textbooks or anything like that on it other than the three kingdoms novel, but that’s heavily dramatised and it’s not a v accurate portrayal at all (i just read it for fun ahah). i mainly learn about it just through talking to my brothers about it, since they’re also super interested in it and luckily for me are v knowledgable about it!! also, i haven’t seen this myself so i don’t know for sure, but i hear the film red cliff is really good to watch if you’re interested in the three kingdoms era - again, idk how accurate it is but from the brief snippets i’ve seen and from what i’ve heard, it’s v good! other than that, i’m sure you can find some articles on google or even just on tumblr if you have a little look; i’m pretty sure there’s a lot of history blogs (look for the ones that cite their sources, ofc) that have a lot of info to share ✨

Romance in the School Backyard

Description :

In 1935, there was a hidden love story between a village girl who work for a tea house and a scholar who found the girl almost ended up her life. 

May, 28 1935

 “Stop there right now!”  a tall boy slowly approached a girl that sit in the corner of the dark alley, with a sharp object right above her pulse.

 As much as the girl  want to cut off her wrist, she couldn’t  continue because she didn’t want anyone witnessing her death. She was standing up and about to ran away before the boy hold her hand forcefully.

 “Give me those things or I won’t release you.” The firm sound from the boy give a chill to her, make her shivering immedietly. She used to hear that kind of voice yet it always make her scare to death. The boy, who didn’t  have any bad intention start to panic as he see the woman eyes turn to red and wet. He absentmindedly pull the fragile body to a tight hug, to at least make her calms and whispered his apologize to make her scare. Oddly enough, they stay with that position until the girl’s sniffing gone.

June, 14 1935

Its an awkward for the time they have met but a weeks have passed and they become closer, secretly. The girl, Taeyeon, was in her 17 when Minho found her was going to ended her life. Minho was also 17 when he prepared to entering university. Taeyeon was working since she was 15 as a maid for a tea house near the one of the prestigious first university in the country where Minho just entered. Her family couldn’t afford her to have a decent life since their father being so abusive to her when he was faired from worked and couldn’t fit in with the society. Her mother was choose to ran away and leave her alone with a beast creature she used to called father. Their relatives offered Taeyeon to worked with him as a maid, washing dishes, swept the floor, serving tea and she would be paid in the end of the day. There was nothing much she could do to avoiding a slap or stifle from her dad everytime she went home and gave her paid to her father so he could release his stress out there with some prostitute.

 “You are lucky enough I can’t send you to that prostitute house yet, like your mother, wait until you reach 18!” said her father one night after leaving a good slap on her cheeks.

 In the other hand, Minho was the pride of his family. He passed the education perfectly and aiming to join the most prestigious university at the times. He has to focus on his career to keeping his family name as the respected aristocracy that adored by many peoples, and of course as the tradition, the finest bride for him to continuing their heir was already prepared once he finished his education by a years.

June, 20 1935

One night when Minho successfully asked her to spare a minutes before she going home, they went to the lake near the university.

 “Minho, I can’t see anything.” Taeyeon hold her dear life on Minho’s hand upon walking across the wet grass, the night walking without lantern or any light surely makes her scare.

 “Don’t worry, Iam holding you tightly, we are about to arrive.” The shooting tone of his voice was somehow makes her heart pounding loudly, she only wished Minho couldn’t hear that because it would be embarrassing.

 Finally they arrived at the edge of the lake. Minho take off his jacket and put it on the ground so Taeyeon could seat without touched the dirt. Taeyeon was about to asked but her attention got distracted when she saw a glimpse of light in the middle of the lake. The light then becames two, and three, and four, and being triple amount before Taeyeon hypnotised with the flying light illuminating the lake.

 “Those are fireflies, they are shining at the dark night and flying around. I just found it after reading about them in the library and I want to share it with you.” Minho could see her eyes being glasses, the light she received from witnessing the fireflies created a stunning view in Minho’s very eyes, he really in love with Taeyeon, a person he never expected to come in his life. Minho was broken when the second time their met with Taeyeon face full of cut and how much Minho wants to killed her father.

 “Minho… Thank you for sharing all the beautiful thinks I don’t even know its exist. I can’t pay back any of this joyfull with you, I just have an awefull story to told you, I bet its not pleasuring you.”

 “Just don’t do something stupid like our first met, you being all smile and survive its what you need to repay.” Taeyeon smile drop, Minho didn’t sure but a fat tears about to fall from her innocent eyes.

 “I feel like I won’t be here any longer. I don’t know what will happen but I kinda knows what my father do once I turn 18.” Minho straighten his back, he lift up Taeyeon’s face so they could see each other eyes. They stayed like that for a minutes, still searched the reason why their eyes looks very interesting until you couldn’t stand but kept staring.

 “July 18th 1935 Lee Taeyeon, correct?” asked Minho. Taeyeon frowned as Minho said something that kind of strange.

 “Pardon me?”

 “Iam sorry, it just rolling out my tongue. I like your name so much, Taeyeon.” Taeyeon couldn’t help but giggling at the reason.

 “You are so weird, Minho.”

 “Let’s run away, with me.” Said Minho. Taeyeon eyes became bigger, she couldn’t do that when he had his life full of hope, she couldn’t let herself being obstacle but before she refused the idea, Minho silent her lips with his. He kissed the baby lips softly as he delivering his true feeling towards the girls in his embrace, give a protective hug on her back while the girl couldn’t help but depending on his bare neck, deepening the kiss.

June, 29 1935

The next meet, Minho begged to Chihoon, the owner of the tea house, to let him borrow Taeyeon for a couple hours with an ease, because Minho was a powerfull man from a powerfull family, it was Saturday anyway, Minho sure not really much customer would coming through that iron door.

 “Oh Minho, what if I got trouble because of this kidnapping?? Why are we heading to your school building??” Taeyeon started to getting used with this kidnapping attitude of Minho and willing her body to followed him, so did the heart.

 The building area was quite and Taeyeon couldn’t help but to look around, afraid if someone might see them because they were hand in hand and a blushed on their cheeks that seems not to leave for forever.

 “Minseok my Brother!” the man called Minseok greeted them warmly. He was working as a photographer, mostly for a movie  when the technology like camera was became sophisticated.

 “Iam Kim Minseok, it’s a pleasure to meet you, young lady.” Minseok was so gentle, never once in her life Taeyeon being called young lady, who usually only referred for a young noble blood lady.

 “Brother, we are going to change it a little bit, are you done already?”

 “Yes, I already set the camera as your requested, don’t take too long I am afraid the sky will not really cooperate.”

 Minho then lead Taeyeon to a small room where a baby  blue gown hanging gracefully in the wall.

 “We don’t have much time, wear this gown, ill be waiting outside.”

 Minho also changed his clothes to a vancy black suit like a rich man from Europe.

 “Eh, Minho?” Minho was about to teased her for being so cute with the calling but ended with him being shameslessly let his mouth open, his big eyes became bigger like he wanted to captured the most gorgeous Eve ever created in this world. The sleeveless long gown with a V cut looked so perfect with Taeyeon, if the gown have a soul, surely it belongs to Taeyeon.

 He knew they were about to get Minseok angry for waiting them but he couldn’t help to not kissed those rosy lips for a good seconds.

 In the back of the building, there was an old big tree standing proudly in the middle of a big grassy field, with a single wooden swing hanging on its branch. Taeyeon looked so nervous that she had never seen a camera before and what will come out, so Minho gave a little peck on her cheek.

 “You look gorgeous, my Lady. I feel so honorable  to have this moment with you.”

 “What a sweet mouth, stop it already!” Taeyeon was blushed like a crap but slowly relaxed upon the shoothing voice Minho whispering to her ear, made Minseok growed a smile on his face to catched such a natural moment.

 After done with the photo session, they still have an hour before Taeyeon has to go back to worked so they decided to enjoying twilight right behind them with Taeyeon still sit on the swing and Minho behind, back hugging.

 “Minho, you really will lost a lot in your life to be with me, are you sure you ready for that?” asked Taeyeon, eyes never leave at the sky dominated with orange colour.

 “I never this sure, Taeyeon. Let’s have our own life where there are only two of us, and make it three or four or twelve of our children?” Taeyeon slapped him for being such a witty but couldn’t help smiling for thinking to have family and raised them with love, the think that has been missing from her life.

 “Minho, what if we couldn’t make it?” Minho let out a frustrated sigh, he clearly didn’t like it everytime Taeyeon asked something like that.

 “We will make it.”

 “Just if…”

 “I promised to give you a life you deserved with a lot of love once you reincarnated and as a replacement I will willingly to take all your miserable and live with it so only good thinks will happens to you.”

 Minho was an educated man and the thought for afterlife stage was not really had a place on his mind but if it was the only way, the only irrational way to shield his promise, then he would pray and be a nice person for his wished to be granted.

 In the other hand, Minseok was about to packing up his stuff but decided to take one last moment of the two love bird who seems drawning on each other’s stare.

 The couple was too greedy for each other until they ended up in the school’s infirmary room, leaving their elegant clothes scattered over on the floor, filled the room with moan and slapped sound from every thrust Minho gave. The sight of Taeyeon being under him, sweating all over her skin and her tiny hands grasped on his bisceps made him gone wild and crazy. He never knew that falling in love could be this beyond like you would gladly gave your own soul and life just for that someone. Minho devoured that plump pink lips as he near his climax as he gone faster, and with that final thrusted, Minho released inside of her, kissing the girl gently all over her face while she gasped for breathing properly and took a chance to sincerely said,

 “I love you Taeyeon, so much.”

June 30th, 1935

 “What do you meant she is not coming today???” Minho almost break the table when he didn’t find Taeyeon’s sight where she supposed to be.

 “I don’t know, Sir. Minho. Iam afraid she is not well today, I will come to her house this afternoon and-“

 “Chihoon-sshi, please give me her address, I will go right now.”

 “But Sir, the traveling will takes more than 30 minutes by train and today is the formal ceremony for this year scholar if I am not mistake.” Minho grabbed Chihoon’s collar and hold himself to not let his punch flying around or he would make the place be a real mess.

 It took forever to wait the train to finally aboard. Minho couldn’t stop his whole body to not shivering and for the first time in his life he prayed to whatever up there to let him meet with the love of his life. He didn’t care if he about to broke the law for kidnapping, this time for real, an underage girl who still under care of her parents.

 Minho never realized that he could ran like a crazy, faster than his mind could do. He couldn’t find which one was Taeyeon’s house but he saw a few villagers leaving a small wrecked house one by one with a dark clothes and head facing the ground, something that made Minho’s leg wobbling.

01st July, 1935

 Minho took the first train back in the dawn after spending a night crying for his loved one in the river of Taeyeon’s neighbourhood. His eyes was showing no emotion or desire as he hold Taeyeon tighly in his firm hug, as an ashes on the pots.

 Last night a truck of stranger army came to their neighbourhood and forced a children, specially girl and a woman to came along with them. Taeyeon was one of the target but she got a shot on her head for saving the children to escaped and her body was leave on the street, fully wounded and barely naked. The elders of the village immedietly prepared her cremation as the sight of respect and thankful for her sacrifice while the saved children being evacuated to another village.

 Minho looked down to the clay pots, even something attached with her was so beautiful, he never falling in love with a pot before. He let out a tears from his dried eyes, kissed the pot softly and whispered,

 “Iam sorry, I love you so much.”

 “July 02nd 1935 “The 5th heir of Choi Scholar was found death in Han river.”

 “It must so depressing for his family.”

 “Do you really know what it means? It comes from 1935, there a lot of words I don’t understand.”

 “Spent some times on literacy and less on clothes, Gwiboon, it will help.”

 “Gwiboon, truthfully, If its about your clumsy boyfriend, it sounds possible. Go ahead, I will walk around this alley.”

 As she walking by many aesthetic views that makes her heart exited, she finally stop to watch black and white photograph she believe comes from about 1930. The picture is so simple yet elegant with only white and black. She somehow could see so many colors on that photo like the orange sky, the green dewy grass, a big strong old chocolate stem which support a thousands growing leaf, and also love. There are a woman with beautiful gown sitting in the swing, giving her back to the camera and a man with suite and love in his eyes. She look at the tittle of the photo,

 “Romance in the School Back Yard, June 29th 1935”

 “I bet 1930’s romance was truly romantic.” A deep voice suddenly taking her attention. She was so touched by the picture until she doesn’t realise that someone standing beside her, observing as well.

 “Yes indeed. This is so romantic.” Said the girl.

 “So you like Master Kim Minseok?” ask the boy again after a second of silence.

 “I do really adore him, I wished I life in the same era with him.”

 “Me too, he really inspiring isn’t he? Iam Choi Minho, a freelance photographer for this event. And yours?”

 “Lee Taeyeon, Iam currently working as a junior journalist for media, nice to meet you.”

 “Nice to meet you too, July 18th 2018 Lee Taeyeon.” Said the boy named Minho, makes Taeyeon frowning.

 “Iam sorry?”

 “Oh no, nothing, it just come out, Taeyeon is lovely name.” Taeyeon feels like she is going to puke, is this guy try to hit on her? But she kind of entertained with this attitude.

Hey! I’m pretty diverse through a lot of companies, I love groups from all the top 3 companies, though I guess I do have quite the weak spot for SM groups!

talked to mum today, too. she said that her tomatoes are growing well, but they’ve started to attract worms, and she doesn’t want to hurt the worms, even though they’ll probably disrupt the growth of the tomatoes. i told her i’d look up if there was any humane way to deal with that issue.

really, i should be writing that down before i forget. it’s so difficult to remember the smaller things like that when i’m busy. part of me wishes that i could have a manager for work, and a manager to help me with my personal life, but that would be too greedy. and, i’d have to share my personal life with a professional person o.o

i think sometimes it’s easier for her to forget that i ever told her about ryoma. she liked him, when they met, i could tell. i think he reminded her of dad, cos he reminds me of dad allllll the time. but when it comes to our relationship, she’d rather pretend it wasn’t happening, and that’s the best version of her reactions. it hurts, you know? something that makes me so happy.....

being understanding is really important, though. this is all new to her, i mean, it was new to me too. and even then, we know how difficult this kind of thing can be, especially since i’m a public figure. if this kind of information spread around... gosh, i don’t like thinking about it. haha this is why i try not to talk about this so much. gets me all upset and stuff haha

taehwan, in all of his six foot energy wrapped in a package half the size, lifted up a flower to sung at the very tip of how far his arm could reach. it still required looking down, but in feeling, it was as if the flower was right in front of his eyes.

sung squat down so he could wrap an arm around his nephew and pull the fast-growing boy up to his hip. a hand ready, but not taking the bait, he asked, “is this for me?” the following answer was the last piece of the puzzle that sung needed to pinch the stem of the flower between thumb and forefinger. “thank you, it’s beautiful.” he twirled the flower in a roll between his fingers. “how should i carry this? i don’t want to damage it. shall i wear it behind my ear? can you help me?”

in the conclusion, as taehwan made an attempt to place the flower over sung’s ear, and sung inevitably had to fix it, he noticed his mother had pointed her phone’s camera towards them.

“my sweet boys,” she’d said as the phone came down, followed by her closing the distance to pat at their cheeks, first sung’s, then taehwan’s. “you’ll give me a heart attack with all this sugar.”

sung brought taehwan back down to the ground, and took one of his hands so they could all continue walking together. his mother held onto sung’s other arm, wrapping one of hers around, and adding her other hand like a final lock.

“i can’t wait until you have children of your own. you’ll be such a wonderful father.”

warmth bloomed inside of sung’s chest -an excess branch to add to the bouquet that had sprouted bit by bit throughout the day. “have we moved past your being glad that i didn’t have children early on like sungmin?”

one of the only times in life sung ever felt as if he could be considered a funny person, was around his mother. her laughter rolled on as an aerated chuckle, her hand clapped on sung’s forearm. “i think i’ve been past that from the second i fell for taehwan. now i want all the grandchildren i can get.”

“i’ve got to get a move on if i want our kids to have similar ages. i can’t expect teenagers to get on well with children.” of course, given his career, life goals like these would have to wait. but, believing in the fantasy was much more fun. and thankfully, his mother was always willing to play along with him.

You were pretty convinced that it would take a year at the most to get over a heart break; it was useless spending the next couple years of your life sulking about your ex. So it came as a surprise to you that four years on, you still thought about Baekhyun and everything you shared and experienced together.

 He was undeniably one of the biggest things that happened to you as you had never really bothered to care about love or any of that boring shit. All the “inspirational” quotes on Instagram were complete bullshit to you, you just needed to work and earn the money to get you to a financially stable position and maybe then, would you find a partner.

But thanks to Baekhyun, that wouldn’t be the case as he just stepped into your life, made you feel like a Queen and then proceeded to cheat, make your life a living hell and make you feel guilty for doing what anyone else would have done in that same situation. He deserved to be hated by you and you definitely knew that but it was hard. Unless you had experienced it yourself, you wouldn’t know the real pain and heart break that you would feel as your soul left your body to join other broken hearts.

Every day you would curse at yourself because you knew that what you were doing was damaging your mental state but that was what love did to you. It ate away at your brain, telling you to hold grudges and to remember all the pain he caused but then it would tell you to give him a second chance, to relive the good times again. You had an angel and a devil on each of your shoulders like the cartoons but little did anyone know how emotionally tiring those stupid miniature figures actually were.

Four years may seem like an eternity to some and to others a short while but to you, it was bang in the middle. It wasn’t too long where you could actually feel yourself going insane but it wasn’t too short where you had sat for a couple of hours one day wondering where all of your time went. Seeing Baekhyun and Taeyeon going on dates together and kissing in public all over Dispatch and other Korean news websites was what made the years long as they always looked so happy and like they didn’t give a damn about everyone else which was exactly what you wanted with Baekhyun. The people knew that you were a sweetheart and you were not here to cause any sort of trouble or harm to Baekhyun and the fans but it was the fact that people thought you were taking Taeyeon’s place.

You and Baekhyun were in love but there were always some salty fans that just had to rain on your parade and ruin everything. Dates were crashed by jealous fans and on countless occasions, certain fans had tried to assault you in attempts to scare you off away from their “oppa”. But none of this made you want to leave Baekhyun and this only made your anger build and build years later. The amount of times that you had sacrificed your happiness for him and your relationship was almost embarrassing considering the fact that he did a 180 turn from you to Taeyeon. 

When the word had got out, hundreds of people mocked you saying that he cheated because you were not good enough or up to his standards. All the harsh words were egging you on to leave everything behind and live another life in another place at another time. Despite your friends pleading, you had a plan and that plan was to end it all here. Your will was written and the decision was locked. It may of been a slightly dramatic thing to end your life just because of an ex boyfriend but the way that the couple seemed to mock you unknowingly through their public displays of affection was close to unbearable, like you couldn’t escape them not matter how hard you struggled to.

It was Chanyeol who basically lectured you and pushed the idea into your head that ending something so special because of something that could be changed and resolved was so stupid. When you would have late night chats with him about your feelings and how your day had went, he would always end the call with “Stay strong Y/N”. He may have been harsh with his technique of pushing the idea of suicide out of your mind and turning over a new leaf instead but it most definitely worked as you were now in another part of the city with a reasonable apartment that you shared with your dog. 

You could finally witness the light that had been missing from your life without really realising that you had done it. It was such a refreshing feeling and the gratitude you felt towards your friends (Chanyeol especially) was overwhelming. You no longer tortured yourself by checking the reporting websites for updates on Baekhyun but instead, you made the mature decision to congratulate the couple on their engagement. 

Yes, engagement. And the wedding was in two weeks. 

“Come on!” Chaewon exclaimed through the door of your bedroom. Somehow, that certain someone had managed to convince you to take a nice trip out with her to town to buy a new dress for their wedding. And yes, you were invited by the one and only Baekhyun and yes, you had also been persuaded to go by all of your friends as it would be “part of the healing process”. Whatever it was, you were sort of glad that you could confidently say yes to Baekhyun over the phone and his cheers of glee warmed your chest.

“Alright, calm your tits.” You mumbled but Chaewon still caught on and accused you through the wooden barrier that her tits were perfectly calm and stable. It was very obvious to you that when you had first met her, she was destined to be your best friend. After all, who has a conversation about shook tits?

Giving your hair once last shake, you walked out of the bedroom to see Chaewon pacing around, hands on her breasts. There was no point questioning her so you grabbed the car keys of your dining table and called for your confusing best friend to follow.

To your surprise, you ended up meeting a lot of your old (and new) friends at the dress shop in which you bought a lovely black and white dress. Apparently the wedding was going to be absolutely huge with basically everyone and their mothers going to it to watch the deep in love couple finally seal the deal. Of course it was slightly heart breaking whenever someone brought it up and gushed about how amazing the wedding will be as the feelings for Baekhyun still remained and would most likely never leave. You would try and blame yourself for everything such as not giving him a second chance but why would you give a cheater a second chance? 

 The dress was classy and accentuated all your curves as the white detailing outlined your body shape. It was slightly below mid thigh and you were close to not buying it and going for a longer flowy dress but with the persuasion of your law school graduate best friend, you ended buying it with a smile on your face. You decided on simple black heels that you made sure they wouldn’t kill your feet by the end of the night. After all, it was inevitable that everyone would have you dancing or probably running after someone the whole night.

The two of you made a pit stop at a rather aesthetic coffee shop that was decorated with rustic wood and bunches of classic flowers. It was small but cosy inside and it was tempting to hide in the storage room so you could spend the whole entire day and night here. The waiter took you to your table which had a small plant in a light grey pot and the smallest salt and pepper jars you had ever seen. The whole shop was very easy on the eyes.

“What are you going to get?” Chaewon asked whilst scouring through the drinks menu like a hawk. Everything on the menu sounded so good and like a bloody mission to try and decide on one thing to get. 

“Would it be greedy to get everything?” 

“Yes.” Chaewon deadpanned before bursting into a fit of laughter which was typical of her. You know, everyone had that friend that would do the most random things out of the blue and you would laugh because there was no other way that you could actually respond without being miserable or mean; she was one of those people.

Thankfully the waiter came to take your orders in time before Chaewon would actually end up buckling over and falling of her seat with tears in her eyes and her limbs flying about like leaves on a windy day.

You and Chaewon had finally (and safely despite having a near miss with another driver who was very obviously drunk) made it home and had invested yourselves in a warm cup of hot chocolate and a deep conversation about life. It started off with Chaewon talking and moaning about her co worker who would not leave her alone even though she would talk about him all the time because he was “really attractive and probably an A* in bed”; but then you ended up slipping into a discussion about how you were going to deal with having to face the bride and groom in two weeks. The thought alone made you cringe and want to curl up in a ball and forget about all of it.

The wedding was much too close to just cancel on them and besides, that would be horrible and would completely let down your friends, your family, yourself but more importantly, Baekhyun. Several years on from that messy situation and yet you still didn’t want to see him upset or hurt. Then again, he had cancelled on you that one time when you two had arranged to meet up in town to talk things over. He had said that it was due to nerves and that he wasn’t ready to tell everything to you just yet, and you believed him. He sounded so sincere and you knew exactly what his sincere voice sounded like.

“I honestly just think that you should turn up, make him so jealous by having some handsome ass man hanging on your arm and have him regretting everything.” Chaewon explained and the idea didn’t sound half bad. You could get Chanyeol to turn up with you and you could give a twinkling gaze towards Baekhyun whenever he looked at you. Sure, it was petty but it would give you that confidence that you were lacking.

“Maybe but that would just ruin his day and I can’t do that on his wedding day.” You got satisfaction from being petty and showing someone that you weren’t completely helpless but it would just be immoral of you to do that on a once in a life time experience.

“Wow, you’re boring me. Just do it and he’ll feel guilty; it’ll be great.” Chaewon rolled her eyes at you and took a sip at her warm beverage. 

“You’re a horrible person.” You said and she rolled her eyes at you again.

Someone humming the traditional wedding ceremony tune began to slowly wake you up from an uncomfortable sleep filled with anxiety, guilt and anticipation. You had barely caught any sleep that night as you were basically reciting the exact words you would say to Baekhyun and Taeyeon when you saw them later that day. 

The sweet humming got closer before you bedroom door was pushed open and a wide awake Chaewon started going through your drawers.

“What are you doing?” You asked her, silently cringing at the sudden whiff of your morning breath. It was always that worst feeling when you first smelt that horrible stench otherwise known as morning breath.

“Trying to find your expensive bra…” She mumbled almost incoherently. Her comment made you rise from your position in bed and shoot her a questioning look. She only raised her eyebrows and shrugged her shoulders before trotting out of the room, your expensive bra in hand.

Once you were left alone once again in the naturally lit room that you essentially kept all your secrets in, the real realisation of what the day had in stored for you finally settled in. An unsettling bubbling feeling coursed throughout your veins and your heart thumped loudly in your ears. There was absolutely no reason to be this anxious about the wedding but you still seemed to be panicking and planning out different escape routes and strategies in case things got nasty. It was unlikely that anything terrible would happen but you weren’t too sure on how their friends and family would react towards you.

Would Baekhyun’s parents send cold glares your way for destroying their son’s happiness all those years ago? Or would Taeyeon herself turn on you that evening and completely break you apart until you fled the ceremony, shoes in hand and mascara running down your face uncontrollably. But, that was all very dramatic and (hopefully) unlikely.

On the more optimistic side, you could spend this day with your best friend as you both pampered yourselves ready for one of the biggest events you would ever attend. It had taken some convincing to let the nearly-wed couple allow Chaewon to come but when they had, it had felt like a few more bricks had been taken off of the almost toppling stack of your shoulders. It was rather easy though; all you had to do was remind them of the hurt and the agony you had suffered for years and then you were well on your way.

A familiar jingle filled up the empty space of your bedroom. Your phone displayed a few notifications from your various social medias on the lock screen and a text from Chanyeol.

From Chanyeol: I’ll pick you up at 1. Be ready

The winky face he included on the end of the message implied that he was clearly teasing you about this whole situation. Chanyeol had the ability to sense awkwardness in advance and he used that to his advantage as he would constantly tease you about awkward situations before they had even happened. You crossed your fingers and hoped that today wouldn’t be as disgustingly awkward as everyone was making it out to be; you just want to celebrate your friend’s new beginning.

The ceremony venue was absolutely breathtaking. Mahogany chairs decorated with white cushions in rows of six were lined up on either side of a pristine white carpet that was rolled out leading to the front. There were trios of white candles in an alternating pattern at the end of the last chair of a row; they were scented like roses and added to the flower theme of the ceremony. Cherry blossom plants were stood at the entrance where the bride would walk through and tiny pink blossoms lined the edge of the carpet. Great time and effort had been put into the setup of the wedding and despite all the hard feelings, you felt so much excitement and anticipation for the couple.

You spotted Chanyeol and the others just outside of the venue where everyone else was crowded, waiting to take their seats. You had arrived with Chaewon who was currently gawking at the special couple taking pictures against a rustic wall. They looked so perfect together as Taeyeon stood in the most beautiful white dress and as Baekhyun stared adoringly at her with the utmost love for her doing laps in his eyes. Obviously, the slightest bit of jealous coursed through your veins but the feeling of satisfaction and admiration overpowered it greatly.

The photographer continued to take pictures of the family and friends as you quietly stood at the side of the meadow outside as it was the polite thing to do regarding your situation. Chaewon had ran off somewhere probably making new friends leaving you alone but the scenery and atmosphere made you feel warm and content inside. You watched Baekhyun and Taeyeon laugh with Chanyeol and the others as huge grins took over their faces; it was so refreshing to see Baekhyun happy again all thanks to his friends and family.

It was almost time to go inside the beautifully decorated venue when Baekhyun caught your eye from across the field and beckoned you to come over. Your group of friends all looked in your direction as a wave of realisation (and guilt) washed over their faces. You allowed an amused chuckle to escape your lips and you struggled to walk over in the heels you were wearing.

“I’m so sorry Y/N!” Baekhyun exclaimed holding out his arm to allow you to slip in next to him for another round of photos with you. He looked unbelievably handsome in his black suit and tie, hair perfectly styled to perfection and a light smile constantly on his face.

“No it’s fine. I enjoyed watching you from over there.” You smiled back. Though is sounded a little creepy, it was true as nothing warmed your heart quite as much as watching your friends be happy. The photographer took multiple pictures of your group and it felt so right to be standing together once again. All those years back and everything had separated you all apart but the happiness of Baekhyun and Taeyeon managed to bring you all back to where you belong. Today could only get better and better if the beginning was the only thing to go by.

The organ echoed throughout the hall as the traditional music began to play despite the old lady at the organ looking like she was about to crash out on the keys. Everyone turned their heads towards the entrance where Taeyeon had begun to stride on in looking like a goddess but you kept your excitable gaze on Baekhyun. His eyes were becoming glossy and his hands were shaking uncontrollably; you just wanted to run up and tell him everything will be alright and that this will be the happiest day of his life.

The ceremony ran smoothly and just about everyone teared up when each partner said their vows. It was crystal clear how thankful each one of them were for each other and how in love they were when their adoring gazes poured into each other’s eyes.

This made you think about your own love life and how little there was of it. You were grateful for being single as it didn't restrict to anything but watching them together up there made you regret a few things. Perhaps you were too harsh on Baekhyun making him feel lost and almost like he had to date Taeyeon just so that he was happy. It was incredibly wrong for you to be pondering about such things at a certain time but it was out of your control for the most part.

As everyone was filing out of the beautifully decked out hall, you caught up to Jongdae who was laughing at something Minseok must’ve said. You tapped him on the shoulder and greeted both of them before expressing your happiness for the newlywed couple.

“I don’t think I’ve seen Baekhyun this happy in a while.” Minseok said shaking his head slightly with a soft smile upon his lips. You and Jongdae nodded in agreement.

“It’s definitely refreshing to see that bright smile of his.” You commented causing Jongdae to mumble something under his breath (probably about how his smile was bright too) but he was smiling nonetheless.

Whoever was hired to organise and decorate this wedding needed a promotion immediately. The décor was similar to the ceremony layout but the place had a more lively and energetic atmosphere to it. Several courses of amazing food were being served to each and every person and rounds of various alcoholic beverages were being served. You were sat at a table with Chaewon and the boys (excluding Chanyeol who was obviously the best man sitting at the table with the parents and the dreamy couple).

Poor Chanyeol’s speech was a stuttering mess but it had the whole room laughing hysterically at his adorableness so as a result, he didn’t really mind. Taeyeon’s speech was exactly what you would’ve expected from her- beautiful and graceful- she spoke with no hitches other than when she teared up when talking about how accepting everyone was. However, Baekhyun’s speech was the most hard hitting for you especially as he mentioned you on multiple occasions. He talked about how everyone deserves a best friend who is as accepting and encouraging as you. He expressed how none of this would’ve happened if it wasn’t for your “stubborn ass” and that he is unimaginably thankful to have you in his life. Obviously, the battle against the tears was once again lost but you smiled through it all.

The friendship between you two was an emotional rollercoaster within itself. You started off as his choreographer and then as his friend until he never gave up on his flirting techniques that would make anyone and their mothers cringe. You became lovers who were completely star struck by each other but all of that came crashing down like mountain of fragile playing cards when the reality of his careless actions hit you. It was then that you became complete strangers, never acknowledging each other no matter how hard it was to forget the good times. Then, something clicked; you realised how pathetic this whole situation was and how you had lost someone who meant so much to you that no words could ever express the gratitude and love you felt towards them. Would it be silly to refer to him as your guardian angel? Because that was what he was to you. To call him your best friend once again was perhaps the best feeling in the world and you promised to never let each other go again.

The crisp air nipped at your bare arms and legs as you watched the city lights glimmer in the pale moonlight. You would do this often- watch over the busy city and imagine what each person was doing or going through right then. You would get so invested in watching birds glide past or watching stray leaves float peacefully in the gusts of wind that any of your own problems would disappear with them. Some would call you crazy but it was all just a coping mechanism in the end. And it worked, so it didn’t matter what anyone thought, as long as you were calm and at peace.

The soft creaking of the balcony door brought you straight back into reality but you just assumed it was the wind colliding with the delicate door frame. That was until a gentle voice spoke up and a body came close to your side.

“You’re still doing this?” You registered the tranquil voice to be Baekhyun’s and you instantly relaxed again.

“What do you mean?” The question came out much more quietly than you had anticipated but Baekhyun heard you perfectly.

“Trying to imagine yourself as a bird or a leave.” He chuckled into the cold air and turned his head to you with the softest of smiles. You purely replied back with a gentle smile of your own and rested a hand on his forearm.

“I have told you once but I’ll tell you again, it’s the best way to forget all of your problems and to just focus on everything peaceful about the world.” Baekhyun’s nose crinkled as he knitted his brows together in false confusion.

“There is nothing peaceful about traffic or a busy city.”

You let out mere laugh.

“That is when you’re up here and not a part of it.”

Now it was his turn to laugh at your bluntness as it reminded him of all the unforgettable times you two shared together…as a couple. It was so wrong of him to think about such a topic at his wedding day with the love of his life but there was still something so enticing about you and your romantic feelings towards him. Even after all this time, he still likes to believe that you think about him romantically and you recall all of the major events in your relationship at least once a day. Perhaps that’s a little selfish and conceited of him to imagine but he couldn’t say he didn’t do that himself.

“I still think about you,” He shifted from one foot to the other to gain a better look at your concentrated face. “I miss you a lot actually.”

You averted your gaze towards him expecting to see his famous shit eating grin but instead you were greeted with a frown and unreadable eyes. He looked so upset but at the same time he looked angry, like he was ready to explode at any minute and break down.

“I miss you too Baekhyun.” You said barely above a whisper as you took a hold of his hand trying to ease whatever tension he was feeling. It was unclear of what he was going to do or how he was going to react but you had enough faith in him to assure yourself that he wasn’t going to try anything.

“No. I mean, yeah of course we miss each other but I really miss you. A lot of the time I just lay awake thinking about you and how much I regret…” He paused and looked away from your expecting gaze. “…doing what I did. I’m obviously glad we are best friends again as you honestly mean the fucking world to me.“

He took hold of both of your hands and started into your eyes with what you could barely make out being regret and sadness. “But I will never forget what I did to you and how much I destroyed your life. I will never forget the countless times I went to bed crying my eyes out because of how much I hated myself.”

Your eyes began to sting and your nose began to tingle as Baekhyun began to become more blurry as your eyes began to cloud up.

“I will never stop loving you even if it means I destroy myself in the process. You mean the absolute world to me.” He paused to let himself take in a huge breath and for you to allow warm tears roll down your cheeks and eventually evaporate on your arms.

“I never want to lose you again Y/N. I love you.” It was then that he wrapped you up in his arms and rested his tear stained cheek on the side of your head as you two sobbed into each other’s shoulders hoping that this special moment would never end.  

A/N: at last, i have graced your feed with pt3 which so many of you enjoy (i hope). i’m so sorry this took so long! i started school and just got uninterested in writing anything but im back and ready to write more.
