For me, using grids is quite new. I've always known about them, but when I did graphics in high school, they were never something I was told to use. As well as the fact I rarely did any magazine covers. Clearly I can see the benefits of using them, however they are something I need to get used to. They can look quite overwhelming at first, but i'm sure as time goes on and the more I analyse their use in examples of existing magazines, I will learn to use them well and to their full potential.
