for a character that was shown being murdered on screen 17 years ago it is stupidly popular to consider him alive and act like theres any logic to that

Leo and Calypso are perfect for each other in all the worst ways.
Two desperately lonely people.
One told himself that the only way for him to be happy, after years of hardships and trauma that he hasn't healed from, is to have a romantic partner.
The other has been cursed to fall in love with whoever arrives in her prison and then eventually leave her, making her relive the same kind of heartbreak over and over.
And then they find each other. The one who finally loves him. The one who finally came back for her. And they think "this is it!" She has been granted freedom. He has been granted the fix to his problems that he so desperately longed for. They can truly start living for the first time.
But that doesn't happen. Love doesn't heal them. They are miserable with each other but neither would ever admit it because this is the only way they told themselves that they could be happy.

fellow leshley/eagleone shippers, i thought the age gap discourse surrounding those two was ridiculous and the worst an age gap discourse could get
well, i just saw someone discredit gojohime because "gojo is 28 and utahime is 31 though"
