GYM MANAGEMENT SOFTWARE TRENDS
Technology is constantly developing at a breakneck speed. This also applies to the fitness club software. Fitness centres, Pilates studios, and other facilities require extraordinary software solutions. The fitness software market has been dominated by the following trends.
1. THE NUMBER OF FITNESS CENTERS AND HEALTH CLUBS IS GROWING: The rise of the software sector is being aided by the growing problem of obesity. In 2022, it is anticipated that the software market would generate US $608.70 billion. In the years 2022 to 2027, this revenue is anticipated to grow at a pace of 5.87% each year.
2. A PROPER MEMBERSHIP MANAGEMENT PROCESS: Effective membership is becoming more and more necessary in the market. Systems that offer this feature are sought after by gyms. The following duties that the membership management feature must be able to carry out: monitoring managerial innovation interaction with gym patrons. event planning in accordance with member preferences.
3. GYM SOFTWARE SOLUTIONS WITH BETTER INTEGRATION: Only because the systems they are utilising are incompatible do many fitness centres experience integration problems. As a result, gym owners are in desperate need of a solution that can combine all systems into a single piece of software. The owners of the gym and their staff are busier than ever.
4. STREAMLINE DASHBOARDS. They don't have enough time to manually gather facts and make conclusions. They have access to the information they need to take charge thanks to the simplified dashboards. These dashboards are also a practical way to improve the user experience.

An Introduction to a New Project
Well, this is a change of pace, isn’t it?
Hello one and all! Whether you’re a previous follower of my blog, are not a follower but still actively sought out this post, or just came across it by sheer accident somehow, I welcome you to my very first screenshot Let’s Play!
What’s a screenshot Let’s Play? Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like: a Let’s Play, but done through text and (most importantly) screenshots instead of recording a video. I’ve watched Let’s Plays for as long as I can remember, even wanted to be a Let’s Player at one point- I’ve long since left behind that particular idea, since I have neither the time nor resources to record full-on YouTube videos of gameplay. Still, the idea of playing through and commentating on the experience at the same time- it’s continued to pique my interest, even to this day.
Then, just within the past week, I discovered screenshot Let’s Plays. Specifically, I found one such playthrough of the infamous Pokémon ROM hack Pokémon Snakewood (the less said the better, this isn’t about them), posted by Rainbow Chara X (which can be found here, if you’re curious about reading it yourself) on the PokéCommunity forums. The format of a Let’s Play using screenshots had me by the neck immediately- it was fascinating. I enjoyed reading it, and it was because I enjoyed reading it that I had an idea.
I may not have video recording/editing software, but I do have a Tumblr blog and enough time to take screenshots as I play a game and at least write about my experiences as if I was doing a Let’s Play. Besides- I enjoy writing, and I think I’m pretty good at it too (I mean, I did write an entire Danganronpa fan story, which anyone reading who’s interested should totally check out if given the chance, more info in this post)-
Shameless plugs aside, I have decided to do my own screenshot Let’s Play, needless to say. And what better game to start out with than with one from the same source material as the one featured in the playthrough that inspired me to do this? But this one’s no ROM hack, no- it’s a full-on fan game. None other than:
Tumblr media
Pokémon Reborn! If you’ve never heard of this game, allow me to regale you with the game’s synopsis (as told by its very own website):
Black smog and acidic water garnish crumbling structures along the city skyline. Alleys fester with disaster and crime amidst the metropolis, a blemish over the once-vibrant region. Reborn City is ready for a hero.
Pokémon Reborn is an Emerald-styled downloadable game featuring all content through Generation 7. Experience a never-before-seen layer of strategy with the all-original Field Effects, using the terrain to outplay and overwhelm your opponent! Collect, train and battle with all 807 Pokemon available in-game and take on Gym Leaders of all 18 types as you fight to restore Reborn to prosperity!
I love Pokémon, played it ever since I was a little kid, and I’m certainly no stranger to its fan game scene- if I love something enough, I consume and/or make fan content of it (like Danganronpa). I even had plans to make a fan game of my own- which I might still do, if/when I get enough time and motivation. I’ve played Pokémon fan games before, mostly Pokémon Insurgence, and I’ve looked into Pokémon Reborn in the past, but only now have I finally decided to play it as well.
And you all, however many are perceiving this post now or in the future, get to come along for the ride! I can’t promise a regular schedule for updates, I am a college student with other responsibilities (and hyperfixations) to focus on, but I can assure anyone who’s listening that when I do update, they will be filled with some amount of comedic value.
So sit back, grab a snack and/or a drink, and follow me as we have some completely normal, totally professional, and non-scuffed adventures in Reborn City!
You don't have to wait long, either- the first part will be sent out at some point soon after this is posted, so be on the lookout for that!
FUTURE EDIT: it's over here actually

Running a gym can be a rewarding venture, but there are times when it feels like the fitness gods are testing your resilience. Whether it’s a drop in memberships, unexpected challenges, or an overall slump in revenue, staying afloat in the fitness industry can be tough. Fear not! I’m here to share five effective strategies that can breathe new life into your gym’s sales performance, even when the tide seems against you.
1. Reevaluate Your Pricing Structure
When revenue starts to dip, the knee-jerk reaction is often to cut prices or offer steep discounts. However, a hasty reduction in rates can devalue your services and lead to further financial strain. Instead, reevaluate your pricing structure strategically. Consider creating tiered membership options that cater to a broader range of budgets, while preserving the perceived value of your gym.
Introduce value-added services like personalized training sessions, nutritional guidance, or exclusive access to classes for premium members. A well-structured pricing model can attract new clients without compromising your gym’s integrity.
2. Diversify Your Services
One of the keys to a resilient gym business is diversification. Don’t rely solely on membership fees; explore additional revenue streams. Offer group fitness classes, personal training sessions, or wellness programs. Consider partnering with local businesses for joint promotions or hosting fitness events to attract new clients.
During downtimes or in unforeseen crises, these diversified income sources can help offset losses from membership cancellations or reduced attendance.
3. Ramp Up Marketing Efforts
When sales are struggling, it’s not the time to cut back on marketing; it’s the time to get creative. Invest in a robust online presence with a user-friendly website and active social media accounts. Use content marketing to educate your audience about the benefits of a healthy lifestyle and the value of your gym.
Leverage email marketing campaigns to engage with your existing members and entice them with exclusive offers. Harness the power of data analytics to identify the most effective marketing channels and target demographics.
4. Focus on Member Retention
Customer retention is a golden ticket in the fitness industry. Retaining existing members is often more cost-effective than acquiring new ones. Create an engaging and inclusive gym culture where members feel valued and part of a community.
Implement loyalty programs, rewards systems, and referral incentives to motivate members to stay committed and recruit new clients for you. Regularly solicit feedback and make necessary improvements based on member suggestions.
5. Streamline Operations and Cut Costs
In challenging times, scrutinize your operational expenses. Identify areas where you can trim unnecessary costs without compromising service quality. Analyze your energy consumption, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance. Consider renegotiating contracts with suppliers for better deals.
Furthermore, invest in software solutions that can help you streamline processes, manage member data efficiently, and automate tasks. These tools can reduce administrative burdens and improve overall productivity.
Navigating tough times in the gym business requires creativity, resilience, and a well-thought-out strategy. Don’t lose hope when sales aren’t going your way; instead, reevaluate your pricing, diversify your services, revamp your marketing, prioritize retention, and streamline operations. By implementing these five strategies, you’ll be better equipped to not only weather the storm but also position your gym for long-term success in the ever-evolving fitness industry. Remember, challenges are opportunities in disguise; embrace them, adapt, and emerge stronger than ever.
Conclusion
In the quest to rejuvenate your gym’s sales performance, remember that you don’t have to navigate this journey alone. Their experience in helping struggling gyms find their way back to profitability can significantly shorten the learning curve and provide you with tailored solutions. Tatsuki Yamashiro
pronouns: he/him
sexuality: pansexual
age: 25
birthday: 16 August
One of the first things people notice about Tatsuki when he’s out in public is his white cane. Tatsuki has low vision, and he has been legally blind since birth. He has enough usable vision in one eye to be able to read printed text or use his phone and computer if he wears his glasses (which he actually hates to wear). In the other eye, he only has colour and shape perception. He’s able to read Braille as well as printed text, and he uses assistive software on his computer to help him at work.
Tatsuki is independent and does mostly everything that his sighted peers do. He lives on his own, does his own shopping, cooking and housecleaning (although he’s a bit of a slob), goes to work, hangs out with his friends, and goes on dates. He enjoys swimming and working out at the gym, and he really loves rock climbing. He also loves to write, likes reading, and enjoys working in his garden. He has been playing the violin since he was five. He’s also a better than average singer.
He works as the program coordinator at his former school. He’s in charge of scheduling sports, arts and social events at the school, as well as organizing transportation and fundraising for these events. He’s responsible for making sure all the parental consent forms are in order for activities that require them, and he spends a good portion of time answering emails and phone calls from parents/guardians who have concerns or questions. He enjoys his job, despite its challenges.
Tatsuki is outgoing and makes friends easily. He can usually be found at his favourite karaoke lounge on the weekends, doing better than most of the people who can actually see the words on the screen. Fizzy cocktails are one of his weaknesses, and more often than not, someone has to take him home on a Saturday night after several hours of dancing, singing and imbibing. He tends to naturally attract a lot of female (and some male) company, and has occasionally woken up on a Sunday morning with a stranger in his bed. He takes it all in stride. He’s generally easygoing about most things.
Tatsuki’s favourite colour is green. His favourite season is autumn. His favourite meal is fish & chips. His astrological sign is Leo.

Check In
What I Did
Cleaned
Shopped for a new pair of jeans
Sent some friends some Christmas gifts
Led my professional black software engineering group last minute after the original leader couldn't make it
Online shopped for some Carhartt overalls
Reread an old journal...it happened to be a retelling of one of the hardest moments in my relationship with my mom that I think about often
Got invited to ride down to LA by a person I thought didn't want anything to do with me...she may just be using me, but, hey, whatever, I benefit from this situation too...
Tumblr media
What I Learned
A lot of people care for me
Don't wait...tomorrow is not promised
But also...wait on God...
Don't be so quick to write people off
Don't be so quick to give people so much information
Tumblr media
Feeling
A lot of days recently I have been feeling lonely despite the outpouring of support and check ins I've been receiving...I really want a romantic love...a friend asked if I was talking to anyone, and since about February of this year, I've had NO ONE that I was talking to in a sort of flirty stage
I know God has something great for me
Impatient...impatient for love, friendship, a new job, my family situation to get better, the scale to go down, to move...I constantly have to remind myself, "just wait..."
Bad that I doubted some folks...
Kinda paranoid, NGL, but I need to remind myself God's at the helm
Sad I've got looks from so many companies, some of which I really want to be at...and I am just not prepared...despite me working really hard...
Reading old posts I made made me really sad...I repress so many bad memories that, reading it back, made me feel a bit better about taking this time away to heal...it was so long that I had to stop reading...so much stuff I willfully forgot the minor details of but never forgot the major events and how they made and still make me feel
Kind of tired and that I need a helper...I
Shopping & internet are distractions
Nervous...I think of my gym crush a lot, but that's only because I'm more desperate for male attention right now, and he's the ONLY consistent one that I see every day...I've got a feeling that he may be curious about me but I've been wrong before and I don't want to be wrong this time because truthfully, I don't think he's who I should be with...not sure if it is lust, loneliness, or if it would actually be good to explore a relationship with him...it's times like these where I need to just go with my gut and listen more in my prayers about it
Hearing that another colleague has already done about 40 algorithms and I have only done a fraction of that, made me feel like I've been wasting time, but I have been making progress...I do need to make a little more though...time goes by fast
Glad that I waited on God and didn't go down to LA, because now I've got a trip out...and I bought the 2nd plane ticket by accident, but I guess it wasn't an accident, because now I'm going down and will use it on the way back up!
Tumblr media
Takeaways
I should read the resources my therapist recommended
I want to stop dwelling on the past
I'm going to switch up my study schedule and focus more on algos
I'm not sure if I'm ready to stop being so hard on myself...I don't know if I am or not...
Tumblr media
How I Got Myself Out of a Rut
Cooked for myself and ate the food that I had in my fridge, not the pizza I knew I really wasn't going to like after a few bites or food from elsewhere
Prayed
Finally decorated my Christmas tree
Tumblr media
Goals Completed
Found a therapist
Stopped listening to people worried about their own circumstances and remembering God works on his own time and that I am in no rush...
Got back on the ball
Being kinder to myself and stopping guilting myself if my energy isn't always on 100%
Goals After Today
Strengthen my relationship with God
Understand the main concepts I need to from Interview Cake, AlgoExpert, etc. in 6 months, NOT less than 3
Drop my body fat percentage to Marion Jones, Michaela Cole, or Jade Cargill levels
Consistently fight urge to fill up my time with social media/YouTube
Fully forgive my family & build a great relationship with them
Be more confident & faithful
250 steps/hour & 10k steps/daily consistently
Drink more than 64oz a day consistently
Go on a date with a guy I actually like who actually likes me too
Learn more about my gym crush & get him to ask for my number
Get a house similar to that one in Spain
Update my personal app
