🦈 Strict but Caring: Just like her father, who used to be in the military, she is very strict when it comes to training. Making sure that the recruits are not just lacking or sitting around. She made sure they DO things. But she is very caring for her comrades. You can say it's called "Tough Love" (learned that from her parents).

🦈 Judgmental: Tiala had a habit of judging people at first glance. Of course, she doesn’t show it when meeting someone during work hours. But OUT of work? She’ll just give you that look. The look that says it all.

Background Story: (WARNING: Might mention about Sexual Abuse and Kidnapping)

In American Samoa on November 19th, 1997. Tiala was born. And she was the youngest one in the family.

After two years of Tiala being born, her older brother (Hōne) had left to the Marine but he would always come back home to spend time with his family.

When Tiala turned 16-years-old, it was her birthday. She had received very sad news from Kanoa. Kanoa came back from the Marines to tell them the news that Hōne had sadly passed away from the mission that he was sent to. Which really upset Tiala. She could feel her heart was crying out for her dearly older brother. For he had promised that he’ll come back home on her special day. So she hadn’t celebrated her birthday much since then.

During her Sophomore Year in High School, she was still 16. Tiala had a crush on a boy who was part of the football team. And she was trying to ask him out before their Christmas break. And to her excitement, he accepted. She had thought that she had found love in her life. But little did she know that her happy love life would turn out dark.

After the summer break, Tiala is a Junior in High School. Her boyfriend has been acting pretty touchy lately. NOT in a good way though. More like touching the part that she doesn’t want him to touch. Which made him upset. And she doesn’t want him to be upset. So she let him have his fun.

Until the year of her being a Senior, her boyfriend had been getting a bit more possessive than being lovely. And it worried her that she needed to talk with her family. But that’s when he pulls the threats on her if she EVER tells anyone about this. She hesitated and didn’t tell anyone. Except that her little brother, named Hemi, saw what her boyfriend was doing in the back of the school. Hemi was being sent by their parents to check on Tiala that they’re there to pick her up. He was going to tell their parents but Tiala begged him not to. So he just gave in and didn’t tell their parents.

And on the night of the Senior Prom. The school let the Senior students bring some of their family members to join in this special occasion. So Tiala happily invited her parents and some of her brothers. Which is only Rangi, Kanoa and Hemi. The night was going so well until Tiala’s boyfriend wanted to take her away from the party so they could have their “FUN” which she doesn’t want to. And that’s when he started to get very pushy at it. Which caught Hemi’s attention to see his older sister being pulled away. So calling the two older brothers. Kanoa and Rangi quickly came in and took Tiala back before warning the boyfriend to stay away. Soon the whole crowd’s attention was on them as the boyfriend was getting pissed off. Starting to yell at Tiala and blaming her for being such a boring kind of partner. And that’s when he confessed that he cheated on her with another girl. Which fueled Kanoa’s anger but instead of HIM beating the boyfriend up. Everyone was surprised to see Hemi ran in and tackled him down. Beating him up instead. One of the teachers pulled the two boys away and ended the party.

(Everyone was alright. Just Hemi’s knuckles were being bruised up and he was 11-years-old! Can you believe that?)

After graduation, Tiala had started to plan on joining the Marine Corps with her two brothers. To honor for Hōne. So they started packing and the two older boys took her to Hawaii. Where the camping of the Marine soldiers will be at. She had worked long and hard to finish her test and training. Which was worth it for she had passed all of it. And the two older brothers were very proud. She was 17-years-old when she joined.

So Tiala had taken the position as Staff Sergeant after serving for 4 years and she had made quite a few friends. But her two main friends who she had met are Staff Sergeant Ela Anand and Master Sergeant Herman Black. The two had always made her feel so welcoming ever since she joined in. And the three had been picked by an unnamed Colonel who needed soldiers to help assist to stop the human trafficking. And he did warn them about how dangerous this could be. The three friends were excited for this mission but Tiala’s older brother, Rangi, disapproved of this. He had his concerns for her as this was her FIRST mission and were afraid that something bad might happen. Kanoa had reassured Rangi that she’ll be fine. He will go with her to keep her safe. Tiala agreed with this term even the Colonel agreed as well.

They have traveled to Baja California. The borderline of part Mexico. The team had gotten an intel about Human Trafficking in that area. They have believed that the Drug Cartel is making deals with the other Trafficker who was doing Human Trafficking. So they have to act fast to stop them. The Colonel had already made orders to separate two different teams. Which Tiala is going with Ela and Herman and the others. But Kanoa cannot go as he is going with the Colonel and the other teams. Tiala had reassured her older brother that she’ll be fine since she’s going with her two friends. The two different teams had already split up as they went to look for the Cartel. But Tiala and her team have been ambushed and kidnapped by them. This was in May 2017.

3 months later. Tiala and her two friends are the only ones who are still alive. They don’t know what these cartel people do to their other team members but they have to stay strong and hope that the other marines will come to their rescue. But after a few weeks, Tiala had seen Herman had been dragged out of his cell first and was being pushed by the men. She doesn’t know what they’ll do to him. But her question has been answered by the sound of guns shooting and some people screaming. Her eyes widened at this and felt Ela hugging her and trying to comfort her. They need to get out of here and FAST.

At the very last week of the month, Ela had already had a plan to escape. And Tiala agreed to go through it. The two had already escaped from their cell and put down most of the enemies who were blocking them. And all they have to do is to go over the wall. Ela wanted Tiala to go first and was about to boost her up before being shot. Tiala was devastated and shocked as she saw her only friend had died in her own blood. She was taken back and was dealing with her PUNISHMENT. Which you will know of how she got her burnt scar on her tattoos. And already losing her virginity.

2 months later, Tiala was slowly losing her emotions and her insanity as she kept working for those bastards. As they were having their fun. And today was her last day to be living in this cruel world. FINALLY. Before they could even take her, there was a sudden shooting in the area. And even BIG explosions. Who could it be?

It was the Marines. And her brother Kanoa was the one who was leading and had found her. So he took Tiala quickly to the medical area back to the base. October 2017.

Tiala was released from the Marines just to let her rest and hopefully recovered both mentally and physically. She wasn’t the same from then. She didn’t want any of her brothers or her father to come near her. Even though they are her family she couldn’t get the images about those MEN out of her head. Every time they come near. She’ll scream or flinched when they are present. Which really hurts their hearts.

It’s been 2 months that Tiala has to recover and still didn’t let any of her brothers or her father come near. Until, Kanoa had an idea. While Tiala was just resting on her bed, looking through the window. She suddenly hears someone singing outside of her room. So curiously, she slowly walked out of her room and into the living room before seeing Kanoa was playing the guitar while singing their favorite church song. Called “A Pei Se Vaitafe” (Like a River). And she slowly walked over to Kanoa as memories flowed through her mind of how Hōne used to sing that song to her. And sat down next to him as she softly sang along with him. Her whole family slowly peeked in to see this and was very touched to see Tiala had finally come out to her family.

Before the Summer starts, in the year of 2018. Tiala had come back all fresh and new. For she wanted to continue to serve for her lost friends and brother. And then she heard that Kanoa was making a Task Force. She was also being asked by the General, named Alana and the one who was helping Kanoa to form a team for his Task Force, if she wanted to join. So she didn’t hesitate to take it and was placed in to be Kanoa’s Second-in-Command. That’s when she met the other two new members of the team. Sergeant Agnes “Blast” Falagi and Dr. Aelan Kalani. The two soldiers who were the one who helped Kanoa to save her. And she had given her thanks and accepted them into their new team.

As the Christmas crawls towards us, what ridiculous, slightly horrifying holiday tradition do you think the Hales have?

I fully believe that Peter locks himself in the kitchen and just transforms into Sandra Lee (just doing vodka shots while baking), while Talia drives around the neighborhood to scope out everyone else's decorations so they can one-up them next year.

talia and peter are the most unhinged, competitive, gayle waters-waters, unholy abominations of the christmas spirit to unleash on beacon hills.

i refuse to believe otherwise. holidays are totally their thing and they are insane about it.

peter "two shots of vodka" hale makes gingerbread houses and eggnog.

talia plans the christmas card all year. she books a photographer months in advance because sears is for the poors.

peter will sabotage someone's christmas lights so only half of them work and he will watch from his car as the homeowner tries to figure out what happened.

peter has also popped more than one blow-up lawn decoration out of spite.

talia once stole someone's baby jesus after her sugar cookies were insulted at the holiday bake sale.

peter and talia draw up a seating chart and they have included both star signs and myers-briggs to justify it.

talia is that mom that personally gave her kid's teachers presents each year and peter brought his to die for cupcakes for class parties.

these two would rent a santa, create a winter wonderland on their property and let the neighborhood kids take pictures and give little goody bags.

they also did little things like popcorn strings for the tree and decorate it together.

talia kept every ornament the kids made in school and put them on the tree every year.

lastly derek got his own special birthday party so he didn't feel like he had to share with christmas. i feel like this was very important for talia to implement.

I use they/them pronouns and I’m pansexual. my myers briggs type is INFJ and my star sign is taurus.

Im about 4’11..not to happy about it. I’m kind of introverted, and can be considered not a people person. I find life a little nihilistic. I’m into dressing in all black (trad, mopey, mall, black-metal, and hippie goth styles mainly, both fem and masc. chill days I settle for dark street wear. ) or and taking a liking to gruesome and morbid things like slashers, analog horror, witchcraft, true crime, ghost hunting, necromancy, anatomy, etc. I typically consider myself a "gorehound" ig. I participate in "Vulture Culture"; and I also like to visit abandoned places just for fun, along with playing quite a few escape rooms. I’ve also been trying to start a knife collection, but can’t ever seem to find the money to. (Butterfly knives and ritual daggers are my favorites.). I just have a genuine comfort in the uncomfortable.

I’ve come to the conclusion I just scare people off. In reality, I’m intimidated by everyone around me and find it hard to start talking, which may or may not come off as rude to people.

when I become comfortable with someone I start to become really sarcastic and joke around with them with witty banter. most of my humor comes off really insulting, and I’m brutally honest, but I’ll apologize and say it’s a joke or I didn’t mean it. though if I’m right a become a petty bitch..and quite honestly I’m vengeful to anyone who’s really wronged me. even though I do have a hard time understanding social cues.

lots of people don’t like me or stay away from me because of my rude behavior. I’m not good with overly sensitive or overly annoying people at all because of that, and I can’t stand kids or conformists. Idiocy can get on my nerves too sometimes. I’m a huge animal person though, and I own a herd of four guinea pigs that I protect with my life. I have my moments where I can get really feisty, or very quiet and closed off. I’ve been told I’m also a laidback person. I’ve also been told I never know when to quit, and I find I hold grudges for certain things. It’s not as common now but I used to get called a vampire by other kids when I was younger since I had oddly pointy canine teeth. I find it funny, seeing how I am today. I also have an inside joke with my family where they call me "Irl Wednesday Addams" which I find funny too (if not a little annoying at the wrong times).

I’m the type of person that has lots of opinions on things but I keep them to myself and bottle them up. If pushed far enough I’ll become unforgiving, and aggressive. especially with the types of people mentioned above.

I find the most comfort in just being in my room drawing, listening to music ( the cure, london after midnight, type o negative, deftones, slipknot, rob zombie,,,, sometimes melanie martinez , insane clown posse, jazmin bean or mother mother, etc. ), or even occasionally playing video games, reading, writing, or talking about a random conspiracy theory or shower thoughts I have. I also like to play D&D with my friends when I can, it’s super fun. I’m an actor and dancer, and I’m learning how to play electric guitar. I mostly work as a scare actor, and in the future I have a dream of being a broadway actor. I also take dance and singing classes for it, though dance isn’t as interesting to me.

I’m a plushie maniac and when I fall asleep you can always see me cuddled up to one of them. I find it because I’m really touch starved. I also have this specific blanket I can literally not sleep without. Im also a caffeine addict (97% of my body is just iced coffee tbh), and I’m guilty of being very submissive and maybe even masochistic- and a bit of a pyromaniac. I dissociate or daydream a lot, so you can often catch me starring.

I suffer from a handful off mental issues like asd, hypersomnia, depression and anxiety; plus chronic conditions like gerd, asthma and hypoglycemia. These have all been diagnosed professionally, and I’m definitely not trying to make myself "quirky". unfortunately health problems run in my family.

I’m very fidgety, and often bite the inside of my cheek or bounce my leg rapidly. you don’t need to rocmantasize this stuff ofc, but I think it’s good to know so the person can tolerate me.

Ways to connect deeper to yourself in your DR/s

You can do this for fun and with any reality but this especially helps if your life is quite different compared to your CR, if you've scripted that you have different personality traits, or if you've just scripted a new DR and want to connect with yourself there.

Okay so the first way:

Take the Myers Briggs personality test on 16personalities as your DR self. From there, you can find out your DR selfs personality type and learn your strengths and weaknesses that you have in that reality, as well as getting a deeper understanding of who you are, how you navigate work, relationships, life etc.

The second way:

If you know what your date of birth is in your DR, calculate your birth chart to find out your zodiac signs in that reality, (you can do as many as you want but your main 3 is fine) then do some research on what having those zodiac signs means for your DR selfs personality and life.

I've done both of these, and they've both felt very accurate to who I am as a person in my DR. They have helped me realise things about myself and connect to things that I had never originally thought about, and overall helped me feel connected to myself and my DR on a deeper level, and also its just genuinely fun to do lol

Since everyone is writting about how Cheng Xiaoshi and Lu Guang met/how Lu Guang personality was like in the very first timeline, brainrot took over and I have to chip in.

Lu Guang's personality

Assuming his core personality didn't change too much, a myer-brigg test should gives us hints of what he was like (I'm not an expert on that test and I certainly don't think it's a 100% foolproof thing, but in the case of writting consistent characterization, it is useful). And he is pretty much a textbook INTJ :

prefers to be alone/few friends/quiet space

overthinkers who are open minded to new ideas

thinks more with their head and control their emotions

likes things to be organized/clean/neat

What most likely didn't change from the first timeline :

was always a loner with few friends

overthinker, strategic with everything he does and just have excellent foresight in general. Now I really wonder how much their powers are innate? In the sense that everyone has the potential to develop a power that's based on their personality/experience.

likes to lead and be in control

single minded to reach their goal and won't let rules/critics stop them so yes jumping back in time is extremely in-character

appears cold, uncaring and rude, but are quick to make amend if they hurt someone because they do care a lot

extremely private who don't share their thoughts, dislike small talk and frivolity

witty and sarcastic

and if you think it's odd how he became friend with someone like CXS, that type of personality prefers to befriend outcast/special/unique people who can give them new perspectives and challenge them. So CXS's naivety/honesty with his emotions definively could have drawn him also falls in love slowy but surely

Have an extremely hard time to connect with someone but when they do oh boy are they loyal and devoted 2x jumping in time is extremely in-character

What most likely change with time:

used to be extremely honest because they hate lies and value trust *go cry in a corner*

used to be very cynical and dismissive of emotions before spending time with CXS

probably became more mellow/less controling of CXS's antics

similarly, he is probably much more patient now than he used to be time travel will do that to someone

Funnily enough, probably had no clue how to deal with CXS in general? And it took some time to understand him and how to deal with emotions

Not connected with his personality, but how they met/their living arrangement? since we see the bunk bed, I guess it is safe to assume they lived together, but for all we know they might have met/move in later in the first timeline because no idea how he would have survived room-mating with CXS

CXS's personality and relationship with LG

Funnily enough, it is harder to pinpoint what his personality type is. If I had to classify him something, I would go with ISFP.

At first glance, you would think he is extraverted because of his loud personality and his fear of being alone. However, that's not what introvert/extravert means, it has more to do with how you act in stressful situations/how you relax yourself. Since in pretty much all highly stressful situations the show present (after the earthquake, Xu Shanshan's disappearence, LG's kidnapping...) his reaction is to isolate/be quiet, I think he is an introvert with ADHD or a similar mental condition.

considering all the nagging LG does, probably quite disorganised/messy

So, how does that translate in what their relationship looked like at first?

easy-going, sensitive, friendly people pleaser, easily adapt to fit with other people, forgive easily. So I totally think he was the one to approach LG and did most of the heavy-lifting early in their relationship to make it work. For example, easily glossing over LG's bluntness/rudeness, not asking personal questions, not forcing him to talk...

good judge of character who can easily tell who they will connect with also hopeless romantic falls in love fast and hard. So the basketball scene is believable.

charitable, likes to help people, dislike leading. No wonder he likes their side job and is willing to do as LG says.

easily bored and bad at school, so LG definively had to help him a lot with studying/finishing homework

loves art, particularly at seeing beauty in everyday life. So photography probably isn't just something he does because of his parents, but probably as a genuine love for it. I can see him taking photos of banal things like LG washing dishes in pajamas at 2am while trying to explain the "feel"

bad self-esteem and underestimate themselve. Which makes the scene where QL pushes CXS to go in the picture and praises CXS to Tianxi 10x more sweet. She knows how to deal with her little brother :') Now I want a scene where LG was insensitive to CXS, QL confronts LG and he has a very bad time having to deal with an angry overprotective older sister (while also being the moment where he gains a lot of respect for QL, becomes her friend and starts calling her jiejie).

spontanous who acts more on gut-feeling, so unpredictable. No surprise here ;)

will often hide how they really feel to avoid causing conflict and only open up to people they are very close to. Which does explain why he lashed out at everyone when his parent disapeared and decided to live by himself. There is also so much potential from a storytelling perspective... you can bet CXS's internalizing all that trauma not to burden other people, which will totally blow up in his face at one point. Another thing, those theories that first timeline CXS was depressed? Totally possible, especially since LG from the first timeline probably couldn't help CXS emotionally very well.

really bad at taking criticism. Noticed how LG will often call him an idiot or outline why an idea is bad but rarely directly comment on his actions? I don't know how to explain it, but the way he tells CXS not to do things never feels like he has a negative view of CXS?

Prefer to quietly spend time with family/close friend. So all those fanfics where LG's reading and CXS's playing games on his phone in silence are 100% in character.

Crash Course on MBTI: The Eight Functions (Part 1)

I was thinking of things to do on this blog, besides just character typings, and I thought about how to explain the basics of MBTI to people who may know nothing about MBTI, or people who are only aware of 16 personalities. So I will be doing a three part series on the very very basics of MBTI.

Understanding each cognitive function by itself is the first step of understanding MBTI as a whole, so that’s what this post will focus on. Part two will focus on stacking, and part three will focus on the types as a whole.

What is a cognitive function?

Cognitive functions are the bones of each Myer-Briggs type, the way each type operates in the world around them. Cognitive functions can be divided into two groups- judging and perceiving. The functions are as followed:

Judging (Thinking & Feeling)

Fi (Introverted Feeling)

Fe (Extroverted Feeling)

Ti (Introverted Thinking)

Te (Extroverted Thinking)

Perceiving (Sensing & Intuition)

Ni (Introverted Intuition)

Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Si (Introverted Sensing)

Se (Extroverted Sensing)

As we explore in part two, everyone has two of each, and each function is paired with their opposite. For example, you will always see an Fi paired with Te, you will never see Fi paired with Ti. And both pairs of cognitive functions will make your MBTI type.

If you’re confused by how this works, we will definitely learn more in part two.

Introverted Feeling (Fi) vs. Extroverted Feeling (Fe)

The main difference between Fi & Fe, is how they project their emotions. Given the names, Fi users feelings come from within themselves, whereas Fe users feelings come from within. So what does this mean?

The most simple explanation, is that Fi users value personal values, while Fe users value community values. This however, does not mean that Fi users are selfish, or that Fe users don’t have personal values, however.

An example of a healthy Fi user, is Lucy Gray Baird, from a Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. She cares about other people, she seems the good in other people, but she shows her love by having a strong moral code. She doesn’t lie to others, because it’s not right. She values trust, which she upholds on her end.

However, a good example of an unhealthy Fi user, is Penelope Featherington from Bridgerton. She is raised in a very unhealthy household in general, and feels like her feelings are unvalued, so therefore, she expresses her emotions through a gossip column. She often sits on her emotions for so long, without action, to the point where she ends up making horrible choices.

A good example of a healthy Fe user is Moana. Her values are community based, and she is not easily swayed by her own interests. She had her own goals- everyone does- but she consistently pushes them aside for the sake of her village. Eventually, however, she is able to find a balance, a way to reach her goals and to make herself and others happy, instead of simply sacrificing her own happiness for others.

An example of an unhealthy Fe user is Gretchen Wieners, who is obsessed with being liked and social status. She is mean to the other girls to maintain her role as Regina’s right hand, and she is constantly giving up parts of herself for the sake of Regina. Her hooped earrings, for example.

Ti (Introverted Thinking) vs. Te (Extroverted Thinking)

The simplest way I’ve heard Te and Ti described is Te is objective logic, while Ti is subjective logic. What this means is that Te users trust systems that give them clear, observable and objective results, where as Ti users explore logic for the sake of knowledge. Ti users may come up with their own theories and systems of logic to understand the world around them, as well as arguing against commonly accepted logic. Te users feel most comfortable using data and systems that are presented to them and seem to work, and tend not to go against what they know.

A good example of a healthy Ti user is Kristoff from Frozen. He abides by his own systems of logic, and uses this to challenge Anna with her own flawed logical system, due to her isolation. He also has a good handle on his Fe, despite being so low in his stack, which means his logic is somewhat grounded in reality.

An example of a character who is an unhealthy Ti user, is Leo Valdez in the Heroes of Olympus series. Leo, like Kristoff has his Fe very low on his stack, and tends to be so caught up in his own Ti, that he ignores the feelings of others, or ignores his need for social interaction altogether, because it’s harder for him.

A good example of someone with healthy Te is Tiana, from the Princess and the Frog. Though she gets healthier through the course of the movie, her want for results and her need to achieve her goals never gets in the way of her being a nice person. She doesn’t step on people on her way to achieving her goals, she just wants to achieve them on her own terms.

An example of someone with unhealthy Te is Abuela Alma from Encanto. She is controlling over her family, even when she thinks it’s what’s best for them. She doesn’t address her own feelings, which causes her to be rather harsh when it comes to how she addresses the family. She wants results, but she doesn’t stop to think about the real reason the Encanto and the gifts are so important to her anyways.

Ni (Introverted Intuition) vs. Ne (Extroverted Intuition)

Intuitive functions, in my opinion are very hardest ones to explain, especially to those who have no idea what I’m talking about, so I’ll do my best. Ne is divergent / scattered ideation, while Ni is linear ideation. Both focus on your inner world, and concepts a lot of times involving the future, but they are different in doing so.

Ni has a singular focus, a way to get from point A to point B. A specific way they see certain events conspiring, and rarely stray away from said idea, until it is either proven false, or no longer relevant to them.

Ne users bounce from idea to idea very easily, and lose interest in ideas very quickly. They usually keep their options open, and to them they see many different ways a situation could go.

When thinking about the future, an Ne user may go, “This may happen in the future” or “This is a possible scenario.” Ni users may go, “This will happen in the future,” or “This is the right scenario.”

A good example of a healthy Ni user is Annabeth Chase from Percy Jackson. While she can be quite arrogant at times, she also has the ability to narrow in on one thing and move on when information is no longer relevant. She is able to notice what’s going on in the world around her, and somewhat leans into her Se to work with her Ni.

An example of an unhealthy Ni user is Orpheus from Hadestown. Orpheus is oftentimes way too hyper fixated on his own goals and his own ideas, that he ignores his Se altogether. He doesn’t notice Eurydice leave, because he is so focused on finishing his song, because that’s the only idea he has to bring summer back. He is also so hyperfixated on the idea that Hades is betraying them, that he looks back.

A good example of a healthy Ne user, is Hiro Hamada from Big Hero 6. Hiro has a plethora of ideas, and he doesn’t necessarily commit to one, but his ideas are somewhat grounded in reality. Though some of his ideas seem far fetched to other people, he also uses his experience in robotics to justify it.

An example of an unhealthful Ne user is Luna Lovegood. Ne isn’t her dominant trait, but it is high in her stack, and alot of times, her ideas are not grounded in reality at all. She is so obsessed with multiple views of the world around her, that she doesn’t really stop to think critically about the information she’s spewing.

Se (Extroverted Sensing) vs. Si (Introverted Sensing)

Se and Si both rely on the outside world, but Se observes and reacts as it happens, Si focused on information we already know about the outside world. Most people describe it mainly as observation vs. experience.

Si users, especially high Si users, may rely on routines, and traditions to guide their decisions. Oftentimes, they may be more comfortable sticking to a routine and experience than they do reacting to new information. In some cases Si users may come off as obsessed with past events, and lean very heavily on these past events to make decisions.

Se users react to information as it is given to them. They focus on the present, and may be intrigued by things such as aesthetic, and the world around them. They may be easily stimulated by physical experiences, such as exercise or thrill rides.

An good example of a healthy Si user is Cosette from Les Miserables. Though she has a sad childhood, and she does use her experiences to define the present, she also has a strong relationship with her Ne. Her experiences are very important to her, so are her personal traditions with Marius, but she rarely lets herself be defined by her past solely, and is able to have a dose of optimism about new experiences

An unhealthy Si user is Elsa from Frozen, specifically in the first movie. Throughout the movie, we not only see Elsa be defined by her past, but she gets stuck in a routine, and she is really unable to push aside this routine out of fear. She is defined by her past, and struggles with breaking out of her cycle. She believes pretty much everything she has been told her entire life, and struggles to break her specific routine, and instead, finds a new routine in the castle she built.

An example of a healthy Se user is Jasmine from Aladdin. Jasmine wants freedom and loves to explore the world around her, and while she makes in-the-moment decisions, these decisions oftentimes gets her out of trouble. She is also able to enjoy the world around her without being incredibly impulsive.

However, an example of an unhealthy Se user, would be Pepa Madrigal. Though not her fault, due to circumstances, she is constantly on fight or flight mode with her environment. She reacts to her environment in a negative way by suppressing her emotions through “clear skies” and is simply unable to react to her environment in a healthy way.

How to Apply this to Yourself & Other Characters

Learning and understanding your type takes practice. In the next two parts, I will explain how to determine your type based on these functions. Keep in mind this is a very watered down version of each function, and it takes more than reading a singular post to become aware of these functions.

This being said, it can be really hard to type yourself, because as humans, we are complex. Just because we use Fe doesn’t mean we don’t have any traits of Fi. Shadow functions, in my opinion are a bit complex to a beginner, but it does take a while to understand yourself enough to find the right type.

For the longest time, I though I was an INFP, because parts of myself that I thought were Fi were actually Ti. Also, due to stereotypes (which will be part 3), I was struggling to understand how I could be emotional and a thinker (I was like, 16 at the time), but everyone shows emotions.

So take your time to understand the functions, and eventually you’ll be able to understand yourself and your type a lot better.

I’ve come to the conclusion I just scare people off. In reality, I’m intimidated by everyone around me and find it hard to start talking, which may or may not come off as rude to people.

I’m very fidgety, and often bite the inside of my cheek or bounce my leg rapidly. you don’t need to rocmantasize this stuff ofc, but I think it’s good to know so the person can tolerate me.

I also have a spider sona! They go by Tarantula. They have normal Spider powers n stuff, but their big knock is their venom. When they experience high emotions (rage, grief, fear, etc) they are unable to control their venom, and end up going into what they call a “rage mode” it’s similar to Miguel’s thing in a way, but far more animalistic, dangerous, and unpredictable. Luckily it shouldn’t happen to often if they keep their emotions in check! (Let’s hope). So- whoever wants to deal with me would have to deal with that too in this universe lol.

Starting with Metal Family, I've decided to match you with Lif!

I feel like you two would just click instantly. Between the style, the music, the niche interests. I like to think that you two would just spend so much time together listening to true crime podcasts, going to cemeteries, searching for animal skulls, etc. I head cannon she loves to make little jewelry out of bones too so I'm sure that would be an adorable date idea! Not to mention going urbexing together. I feel like she would never have went to any abandon places until she met you, but once you take her once, shes absolutely hooked. Y'all definitely share clothes. It's a given. Considering I head cannon, and have seen many others head cannon Lif to be on the spectrum of non-binary, i feel she likes to be masculine somedays and feminine the next. Not to mention, she'd definitely see sharing clothes as a form of bond between you guys. Kinda a way to show that she wants to look or smell like you, if that makes sense?

Lif is definitely on the taller side though, so she actually thinks it's adorable that you're on the shorter side, even if you don't like it. It also gives her a little power boost when you start to act submissive.

Oh you poor unfortunate soul. UH so, here's the thing I sat here for a good few HOURS trying to wrack my brain for which to choose, but every time I wrote something for Kanata, I'd have a head cannon for Azusa. And then I realized...they're psychotic vampires, they're going to be trying to steal you from each other??? They aren't going to respect that the other one has you, so why choose one? You may not be poly (I actually have no idea if you are, so if you're strictly monogamous feel free to make the final decision!) but then again, if you've watched this show, you know they kinda do whatever the hell they want so-

Definitely have some fucked up agreement to share. After stealing you from each other a few times, they just kinda have this little routine going. Sometimes, if you're lucky one will visit so you have all three of you hanging out. They definitely balance each other out. Whereas Kanata is the dominant, loud, kind of psycho, Azusa is the submissive, quiet, kind. Kanata, ever the sadist, will give you all of your masochistic desires, and Azusa will help you start a knife collection just like he has! It's a win-win! Even if Kanata's tantrums might annoy everyone-

Two vampires sharing you though, you're probably drinking so much coffee. The blood loss definitely makes you fatigued. It's adorable too, Kanata hates coffee, but he secretly made you some one time and pretended it wasn't him. It tasted horrible, but it was the thought that counts. Too bad he's never sweet for long.

Duet with Kanata??? His soft voice probably sounds so nice with yours? He'll yell at you though if you overshadow his own voice-

greetings and salutations, hope I don’t bother you too much by sending in such a random ask. may I please have a romantic matchup for bg3?

I use they/them pronouns and I’m pansexual. my myers briggs type is INFJ and my star sign is taurus.

Im about 4’11..not to happy about it. I’m kind of introverted, and can be considered not a people person. I find life a little nihilistic. I’m into dressing in all black (trad, mopey, mall, black-metal, and hippie goth styles mainly, both fem and masc) or and taking a liking to gruesome and morbid things like slashers, analog horror, witchcraft, true crime, necromancy, anatomy, etc. I typically consider myself a "gorehound" ig. I participate in "Vulture Culture"; and I also like to visit abandoned places just for fun, along with playing quite a few escape rooms. I just have a genuine comfort in the uncomfortable.

I’ve come to the conclusion I just scare people off. In reality, I’m intimidated by everyone around me and find it hard to start talking, which may or may not come off as rude to people.

when I become comfortable with someone I start to become really sarcastic and joke around with them with witty banter. most of my humor comes off really insulting, and I’m brutally honest, but I’ll apologize and say it’s a joke or I didn’t mean it if it becomes a problem. even though I do have a hard time understanding social cues.

lots of people don’t like me or stay away from me because of my rude behavior. I’m not good with overly sensitive or overly annoying people at all because of that, and I can’t stand kids. Idiocy can get on my nerves too sometimes. I’m a huge animal person though, and I own four guinea pigs that I protect with my life. I have my moments where I can get really feisty, or very quiet and closed off. I’ve been told I’m also a laidback person. I’ve also been told I never know when to quit, and I find I hold grudges for certain things. It’s not as common now but I used to get called a vampire by other kids when I was younger since I had oddly pointy canine teeth. I find it funny, seeing how I am today. I also have an inside joke with my family where they call me "Irl Daria" which I find funny.

I find the most comfort in just being in my room drawing, listening to music ( the cure, pierce the veil, deftones, soad, cannibal corpse, slipknot, rob zombie,,,, sometimes radiohead, insane clown posse, jazmin bean or mother mother, etc. ), or even occasionally playing video games, reading, writing, or talking about a random conspiracy theory I have. I do acting in my spare time as a small hobby too, and I’m learning how to play electric guitar. I also work as a scare actor.

I’m a plushie maniac and when I fall asleep you can always see me cuddled up to one of them. I find it because I’m really touch starved. I also have this specific blanket I can literally not sleep without. Im also a caffeine addict, and I’m guilty of being very submissive and maybe even masochistic- and a bit of a pyromaniac. I dissociate or daydream a lot, so you can often catch me starring.

I suffer from a handful off mental and physical syndromes like asd, insomnia, asthma, depression and anxiety. These have all been diagnosed professionally, and I’m definitely not trying to make myself "quirky". unfortunately health problems run in my family.

I’m very fidgety, and often bite the inside of my cheek or bounce my leg rapidly. you don’t need to rocmantasize this stuff ofc, but I think it’s good to know so the person can tolerate me.

⭒ Astarion is drawn to your mysterious and rather nihilistic nature. He is seen as intimidating or scary due to his immortal condition, and because of this, he puts up walls to keep himself safe from judgmental people. That being said, he doesn’t necessarily hide his true nature: he’s very upfront about his more, morbid opinions, and makes it clear that he disapproves of unnecessary altruistic choices, especially when those choices involve having to appear more “normal” for the comfort of other people in the game.

He too is rather intimidated by people. Although he may not always admit it. So much of his feistiness comes from fear. In the past people have hurt him, so now he walks the line of nice and jerk to keep people at arm's length. He’s not really an ass though, and he’s appreciative, you know that. He knows you’re not rude or cold, just introverted and a little insecure. He’ll gladly defend your behavior to anyone who dares complain. No stranger better dare cast judgment on you when they don’t know who you’re really like when they have no clue what either of you have been through. Seriously though, just say the word and he’ll take care of them for you.

Teeth twins! Astarion jokes that you’re obviously his soulmate because your teeth match. And seeing pointier teeth on you, someone he sees as beautiful, makes him feel less self-conscious about his.

Having to shield from the sun, he’s more of an indoor activity sort of person. He loves staying inside and listening to music or reading with you. Just the two of you and your pile of plushies. Astarion enjoys their comfort as well, even if he won’t admit it outright. It’s a way for him to get physical comfort when he desperately wants to touch/hold you but is too upset or raw to do so.

In some ways, he shares in your submissiveness and masochism, but those are still very touchy subjects. It takes him a while to communicate that to you. He dissociates often as well, so he’s thankful you understand what a dissociative episode is like. Most people just assume he’s ignoring them, but you know the truth. The two of you look out for each other in that way.

(I mean she still does naturally, but she doesn’t have to put as much effort into it, because no one is gonna mess with the two of you combined.)

Being an INFJ, and Minthara being an ENTJ, you are similar in that you can contemplate various topics- both realistic and abstract. However you have to be careful and remember while ENTJs may sound insensitive, they’re just very direct communicators. 🌹 She really loves arts and crafts so she usually paint, makes pottery, creating necklaces and bracelets. She just LOVES it! She even loves it more to do it with her younger sisters and cousins.

🌹 Rosa got that title called the “Secret Messenger” from Alejandro. For being able to pass down the intel from one of the cartel without being caught. As she brought that information to Aly.

🌹 Her handy skills was taught by her Older Cousin and her father. For she was very inspired by it.

BACKGROUND STORY:

Rosa was born and raised in Las Almas. She lives in a house with her parents and her three sisters. And she is also close with her three cousins, who lived next door. Living with their parents as well.

Most people know them by helping out everyone in Las Almas. By fixing their cars, their home, fixing broken pipes. ANYTHING. They are like the handyman. Rosa was very inspired by them and wanted to try it too.

So her Older Cousin, named Abel, teached her how to fix things. Even her father agreed to teach her as well. She got a hang of it and started helping her father and her Uncle whenever they go somewhere to assist people.

She usually goes with them after school.

She loves her family very much. And she would do anything to help to provide money for them. One day!

Rosa’s beauty was also very mesmerizing. Even her older sister, named Victoria. She always looked up to her seeing her beautiful face and body. Should thank their mother’s genes.

These two would always do each other’s make up and fix each other’s hair. It grew them so close even along with their other two younger sisters.

She even enjoys being with her cousins’ company as well. Her, her sisters, her cousins, her parents, her aunt and uncle. There’s nothing that she could ask for more.

Until before the day of the Son of La Araña incidents.

Rosa, who was in her 20s on that day, had found something suspicious with her Aunt and Uncle. Because of hearing her father arguing with her Uncle. Saying something about a “BAD IDEA” or “WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS TO OUR FAMILY?! PUTTING THEM! PUTTING US IN DANGER?!”

She heard that last week. Not even Victoria knew about it when she told her older sister. But the two had a feeling it’s not good.

So on the day of the La Araña, when the Mexican Special Forces had found the Son.

Rosa, her sisters and her parents made sure to lock everything up during that time. Afraid that they might get into a crossfire.

When everything calmed down. They thought that they were safe.

But are they?

A few days passed after that incident. When during the middle of the night. Rosa was sleeping with her younger sisters, even with Victoria before jolting awake to hear their mother’s scream.

Victoria and Rosa told their younger sisters to stay while they ran down.

And froze to see two men, who had already shot their parents, pointing their guns at them.

Victoria put Rosa behind making sure they wouldn't shoot her. And before the two men could shoot, they were already shot and stabbed by their Uncle and Abel.

The sisters were relieved to see them but questioning what was going on. And that’s when the Uncle had finally told the truth which leaves them and even his son in SHOCKED.

The Uncle had explained that they have borrowed money from the Son of La Araña. Helping him to secretly give out drugs and in return is the money.

BUT when he saw how close they were getting caught and being afraid of putting their family in danger. He and the Aunt decided to spill out the intel to the Mexican Special Forces to STOP him. And begging them to spare them and their family for they were trying to get money.

After telling the truth, Victoria had fumed up with anger and started lashing at her Uncle. While Abel tried to calm his cousin down.

Even Rosa was upset since they have LOST their parents. And because of her kind heart, she forgave them. But not Victoria.

She started to plan to leave Las Almas with her sisters but to her surprise…Rosa and their other two younger sisters don't want to.

How could they not? Las Almas is their home. It’ll give them great pain to leave.

So Victoria just left without giving a proper goodbyes which leaves Rosa with an aching heart. But she stood her ground and chin up as she helped her Uncle to build a bar.

An idea that he has the whole time ever since he assisted La Araña.

Building up a bar and named it “Pequeña Rosa”. Wanting to name it after Camila’s nickname. Knowing her love for roses and her parents always calls her that as well.

Her Aunt and Uncle started to run this place while taking care of their family, along with Rosa and her sisters.

And that’s when she met Alejandro and Rudy with their Los Vaqueros coming in to have some drinks. She heard them talking about the cartel and even that new person called “El Si Nombre”.

She knew that was the person who had killed her parents. So she started to walk over to their table and make them a deal. She had offered them that she would assist them. By giving them intel from anyone who she sees or hears.

Which they’re having a hard time believing that an ordinary female citizen would give them the INTEL.

And she showed them though. For she had found a group of the cartel members just sitting in for some drinks in her new bar.

And overheard their conversation about the deal for one of the drug traffickers. She also told Alejandro and Rudy that they will be back here. So she planned on luring the men into a VIP room where they will wait to take action.

Which they succeeded.

Alejandro was very pleased with Rosa’s help. So in return, he’ll provide them protection for her family and will clear out her Uncle and Aunt’s record of them ever working for the Son of Las Araña.

And that’s when her Uncle decided for her to take over the bar. And let her continue on helping Alejandro and the others while working in the bar. And he knows very well that her parents are so proud.

The Colonel also introduced her to Aly and her brother, named Karlos. Whenever Rosa has the intel, she would straight up call Aly or her brother.

And from that day, Alejandro had called her the name that only he, Rudy, Aly and the other Los Vaqueros knew her by.
