One moment from Hades Game that felt so inadvertently in character was when I gained the ability to summon my boy Thanatos. And I got to the Meg fight next run and I’m like “I love these fun murder spars with my gf Meg” and so I’m like I’ll get my fav boy to help me murder her. And I summon Than. And than says “Don’t make me do this Zagreus :(“ and he sounded SO wounded. And I had to face the fact that not everyone views attempted murder as fun #CoupleThings and I felt SO bad. hades post-epilogue truly is such a unique experience from the rest of the game it's the funniest concept in the world. you clock in to kill your dad for the hundredth or so time. your boyfriend pops in sometimes to play little games with you and everyone knows he's doing it and that you're dating but he still insists he was "never here". your uncles and cousins and grandmother decide the funniest thing in the world would be to keep helping you kick your dad's ass. you're in the middle of beating the shit out of each other and you ask each other how your day was. his dying breath is spent telling you he'll see you at home, it's like ending a phone call. homer is grasping at straws to come up with his next way to kill you off after a job well done and this time he settles on the fact you trip on a bug and off of a cliff into a rock. your mom is fucking thrilled by this development. you can buy any house upgrade in the world and you still won't get a bedroom door. priceless, truly
