Special notes:

The album name “Saijiki (歳時記)” means “year-time chronicle” is the collection of Japanese words and phrases that associated with a particular season (kigo) which also used in many traditional forms of Japanese poetry. 

If you recognize, both Yuuya and Saigo were born around the solstices, but with different seasons —Yuuya’s in summer (the day with the longest period of daylight) and Saigo’s in winter (the day with the longest period of nighttime), thus this becomes the idea of their duet’s name.

“Otsukimi” means “moon viewing” which refers to the Japanese tradition of holding parties to view the harvest moon in autumn. Actually, since Yuuya is still underage, those two adults are hanging out somewhere else with mochi and liquor.

I included Usagi/Naria Winter...? (the pseudo fourth member) as well for some reason, she's gonna be a very important character in my au.

I emphasised more of Urara/Naria Spring's flower motif and made the edges of her hair more rounder to look like petals plus flower skirt. I also turned the ponytail into somewhat of a bluebell (yeah pink bluebells actually exist). made the ribbon longer and sleeves into bulbs or strawberries.

I attempted to get inspirations from Luna Platz of the Mega Man Star Force series for the appearance of Hanabi/Naria Summer. Tried to add more star imagery but sorta failed?

For Inaho/Naria Autumn I was going for moon/crescent theming but I didn't exactly do much with it (I'm rather embarassed, I was making her more witchy T-T).

Left Usagi/Naria Winter...? as herself because of lore. She isn't exactly a real Naria unlike the trio which is the reason she has a default-ish look to her magical girl form but I'm thinking about butterfly symbolism because of her bows.

Maybe I'll do a pure swag HD quality of the image and add more lore to my epik kool Naria Girls rewrite AU.

NOTAS.

“千社札” (Senjafuda) son hojas votivas, calcomanías o pancartas colocadas en las puertas o edificios de los santuarios sintoístas y templos budistas en Japón, también se hacen oraciones ante los santuarios.

También en la parte de “mientras que recolecta los peces”, se refiere al juego donde debes recolectar peces en los festivales de verano japoneses.

「これが現実だぜ」(Kore ga genjitsuda ze) es basicamente “esto es la realidad” pero en una forma como más ruda(? realmente no se como explicar pero es un tipo de lenguaje más rudo, así que le agregue el “amigo” para que sonara así XD

“型抜き” (Kata nuki) literalmente troquelado, es una actividad común en los festivales japoneses en la que se talla un molde de color caramelo hecho de harina de trigo, almidón o azúcar, usando una aguja o un palillo de dientes en forma de animal, estrella, flor de cerezo, etc, asi que lo puse al literal y en el parentesis el “cuidadosamente moldeado” para que tuviera un poco de mas sentido.

“虚仮威し” (Koke Odoshi) es como un medio frágil que impresiona a los tontos, así que puse “tus sueños son maravillosos”.

At long last, Hanabi had finally found the portal to Idol Land in pursuit of Luna, who had seemingly disappeared from or forgotten all about PriChan... but Hanabi did not forget.

But even upon arriving in Idol Land, Hanabi looked here, there, and everywhere, but Luna was nowhere to be found. Exhausted, she collapsed in front of the Promise Counter when there she finally saw it: Luna's name! Up on the board! OF COURSE!

Hanabi entered the promise with glee. Finally, a chance to crash the stage and upstage her rival! And nothing would stand in her way this time!

Uh. Wait.

Hanabi quickly realized that not only was Luna still nowhere to be found, but here she was... center!? In Luna's place!? Surely, there had to be some mistake but well, she wasn't about to say anything.

As so, Hanabi had a wonderful time performing with two other very lovely-looking idols, @staruke and @millepara, all dressed in perfectly pink Valentines-looking coords!

As the crowd cheered for her, she nearly forgot... wait, what was she doing again?
