I finished my first hat of the new year! This chunky caramel swirl delight is the Jason’s Cashmere Hat from Melissa Thomson, aka Sweet Fiber in Malabrigo Rios, Dulce de Leche — now it’s off for a good soak!
Cosy unique hats still for sale and for UK buyers should arrive by Christmas!!
Check out my Etsy!
All hats are made with Stylecraft Special Chunky so are vegan and have such bold colours. Each pattern is completely unique! Please give them a look if you're in need of a gift, or just something to keep your own ears warm 😊
Honestly a little obsessed with making the Gideon the Ninth Hat pattern someone on ravelry designed, but I keep modifying it.
How many hats until I stop.
~not until I have one for every house~
Pattern is free on Ravelry for any other knitters!!
If anybody wants charts for the skulls that I modified, shoot me a dm!
All of the round buttons besides the big Nona button are from FanFlairShop on Etsy! She's in a tlt facebook group I'm in, and is super great. She has a TON of tlt buttons, and some mugs! (I also have her "HERE IS THE GRAVEYARD AND WE ARE THE GRAVES" mug and lemme say, it's 10/10)
The two enamel pins and the Nona button were pre-order/promotional items from the publisher.
Super pleased with how this Boneyard Sweethearts Hat by Tellybean Knits came out. For 144 tiny stitches in fingering weight yarn, it knit surprisingly quick.
That’s it. I’m done knitting hats for the year. Happy to wrap things up with a Tincan Knits Antler hat cabled in lovely Malabrigo Rios, colorway Playa and a stranded colorwork hat using up some Malabrigo Rios in Reflecting Pool and a speckly yarn (why do I never remember the names?) from Cascade Yarns that features a colorwork rib (that’s me experimenting) and the Metamorphosis motif from Andrea Rangel’s book “The AlterKnit Stitch Dictionary.”
Oh who am I kidding. I’ve already cast on another one.
Doodle Set of my chunky hats!! This was probably my favourite set to make. Originally the white band was just to fix the fact that the contrast of other yarns wasn’t stark enough for the doodles to show up, but I love the effect it gave them in the end, especially the jam-jar fruit ones :D
Sadly these hats have have been sold, but many others are available on my etsy and will still arrive in time for Christmas!! Please consider supporting me, and getting a one-of-a-kind hat to warm you or your loved ones’ head!!
Still working through my list of holiday hats! This one is for my roommate's dad. The color changing yarn is my favorite part! I have 3 (...?) more in this style to knit. It's been so fun customizing them to each person, & hopefully by the time I'm done I'll have learned to keep my tension as even in acrylic as it is in wool.
Found this hat wip in my desk drawer. Not sure how long it's been in there. Since before my last move a couple years ago at least. Probably should finish it.
