A new member joins our team! Our Associate Editor, Diksha Bhanot is a student of B.A. (H) Economics at Hansraj College, Delhi University, where she also holds the post of the General Secretary of the English Debating Society. She works as the Editor-in-Chief (Asia-Pacific) for The Debate Correspondent, and is one of the founding members of Girl Up Bhumi, which is a club associated with the United Nations that works for the upliftment and strengthening of women by targeting issues that have been neglected in the mainstream. She has also been a coordinator at the Office of International Programs at Hansraj College. She was the bronze medalist at the National Finals of the Frank Anthony All India Memorial Debates (Kerala,2017). My dear dear friend Eimal sprang a pleasant surprise right before Diwali by making it to Delhi after 4 years. It was days full of fun, chatter, nostalgic reminiscing, incessant teasing, leg pulling which he cannot put an end to, unending laughter owing to his poker-faced wit, few fights along with polishing plates of Chhole Bhature 🤣 and finally ending with tearful bye-bye. The good part, he finally made it to my place this time to meet family and friends. But of course, our re-union and his trip is never complete without the two of us visiting our alma mater Hansraj College, roaming around and taking mandatory pictures, selfies and eating in the canteen. Hadn't been there in a while. The canteen has moved much to put initial shock. It is now situated on the other side of Lover's Point or LP and you have to take a flight of stairs for it! The good part, Dhan Singh ji and some of the other people are still there. What a relief! Things change but what is consistent and constant surrounds you. With love, time, trust, friendship, unquestioning connect and faith. Across time and distance. Along with disagreements and differences. Eimal and I can say that we enjoy that in our bond, only and only because of my ever-so-loving, cool, wise, witty, humorous and non-confrontational nature. 🤣😂 I think I deserve a pat on my back for surviving you. You my friend, deserve a hug for agreeing with all I have written here for myself on your behalf. You are missed. So long! 🥴🤗 As for the pictures, these are just a few I am posting for now. Recently, on 13-14 March, the The Indian Tourist team collaborated with the Hansraj College in their most discussed Pixels event. Pixels is an awesome event and presents various activities in a pretty engaging manner. We found the students of the college quite enthusiastic and skilled in many areas. An interesting fact, our team found about there was the craziness among students for traveling.

Nilesh, a new member joins our team as a graphic designer. He is a first-year English honours student with Apollonian and Dionysian traits in equal parts. He is a self-proclaimed cinephile and bibliophile who also shares a passion for quizzing and writing. He is currently serving as one of the student editors of the publication committee of Hansraj College and he is also one of the founding editors of Willow, which is the annual literary journal of the English Department of his college.
