Three years ago today, I began the Strangerville gameplay with Kameron Pierson. Little did I know that very casual gameplay would turn into *gestures* all this!

Oh, Nadia. Fun fact: She was a very happy accident! Remember when that CAS story thing came out? Nadia was the first sim I created with it, and that is the only reason she has the evil trait lol. But it’s been working for the story. Evil doesn’t always have to be devilish mayhem. Anyway, I finished the story thing, and it spit out an absolutely hideous female sim so I randomized everything on her face until I got features I liked. When I was done, I said WHOA!! What have I done?! Sometimes I still can’t believe I made her.

She sat in my library for a while because...well...I make sims for fun and rarely have plans for them lol. When it was time for Kameron to begin dating, I knew I had to throw her in the mix. But she was just a rando sim. True, an incredibly gorgeous rando, but still a rando. I didn’t know her and had no attachments, so I didn’t care who he chose at first. But Kameron and Nadia were just so electric together! They REALLY hit off, and that was before I had all these mods that make it easy to see who our sims are attracted to. She grew on me, and even though my mind was still open to all the ladies he dated, in the back of my mind I rooted for Nadia. But she made it easy! SHE wanted Kameron and made sure she stayed on his mind. Remember when she said she knew he was the one immediately? That’s true lol. She called him soooo many times and was hard to ignore lol. Now she is a worthy [slightly problematic] matriarch of this incredible family, and I am soooooooo glad Kameron picked her. 

I try to make this story a creative interpretation of what’s happening in my game (because I actually play this save). When Kameron and Nadia went through that rough period, things were bad in the game. Since Nadia is evil, she’s not always nice to Kameron. Her go to moves are “yell at” and “insult.” It’s honestly quite comical. Their friendship bar takes a hit every time she does it, but usually it goes back up soon because Kameron will do something friendly after. But I guess Kam was tired of it, and Nadia was relentless at this time. I remember one particular day I was at their house, and she repeatedly yelled at and insulted him and their friendship bar got LOW. Like dangerously low! It was so bad their romance bar started to be affected too! This was around the time of that big fight. I knew I had to include that in the story somehow. While they were in counseling, I let the recovery/destruction of the relationship guide how the sessions went. When I told you guys I didn’t know how things would turn out and was open to ANY outcome, I was serious lol. It would have been painful to break them up, but I was prepared if it came to that. But things did improve. Nadia didn’t yell and insult as much, and Kameron never retaliated. Eventually their friendship bar improved. They made it through and are thriving! We love to see it!!
