Thinking about exile and cold.

It’s very fitting that Exile happened during the winter, that as things got worse and worse it got colder colder and colder. I think c!Tommy got used to the cold, to his hands and toes going numb and blue to the shivers that shook his body to being desperate for any kind of warmth he could find.

I think exile was the kind of cold you don’t warm up from the cold that seeps into your bones and stays there and won’t come out. I think even after he escaped the cold never really left Tommy. It just became another ache he woke up to in the morning like all other his scars and broken bones.
