Finally got the sprites done for the other characters! Here's the neutral sprite for all 12 characters! Tagged all their names. Here they are in order: Campbell, Butterscotch, Cauliflower, Foxlore, Hawthorn, Honeysuckle, Lamb's Ear ( Or Lamb ), Nightshade, Poppy, Pumpkin, Smudge, Sunflower, and Wolfsbane!

....Non alcoholic beer is a thing?

Do you like non alcoholic and/or sweet beers? I'm personally a big fan of fruit flavored 0% ones that basically taste like soda or lemonade, but still have that little tasty tinge of hops.

i'm sure you mean well, but i usually stick to the hard stuff. it's a miracle that i haven't died from liver poisoning yet.

which flavors do you recommend? maybe i should give it a shot. i'm trying to cut back on the alcohol anyway...

The stardew valley ask blogs inspired me to draw

Ok so for the whole Idea I was thinking; What if the farmer found some weird looking berries in Cindersnap Forest and decided "Fuck it. These look growable."

So..they grow the berries and oh no! NOW THEY HAVE 12 PLANT ALIENS TO TAKE CARE OF!

Anyways I thought that maybe each hareball could become friends with a specific Bachelor/Bachelorette. Maybe even get adopted, I dunno.

Hareballs are like.. probably they/thems because they're literally plants? I dunno.

Oh yeah! This is an open species of mine by the way so uh.. Feel free to use these images as inspiration to make your own hareballs.

I'm having fun with the implications of Ghost's Shell reverting

Ultimately-- because his shell reverted when he died, Ghost indicated that all shell changes are ongoing conscious efforts from the Ghost to maintain the physical change in the Light. The generalist shell is the default, by the look of things, but since Sagira's shell didn't do that, does this imply that they have a "natural" shell? The Generalist doesn't have to be the way they all started, whether or not the Young Wolf's did.

What does that say about the shells in Eververse? Are they patterns for the Ghost to shape? Solid pieces to infuse with Light? Meta-shaped pieces to fill in with Light? Does the Hareball Shell really exist? I've always seen our inventory as quick-access data, so if the shells we keep are the same, does the Ghost make them out of Light? Reshape themselves according to guidance?

Because I've noticed the ball core bit being two different configurations, one with the round eye and one with rectangle, among other differences, which change with the shell, but as I've recently discovered, the core body thing and the flaps are indeed parts of the same whole, which comes with its own fun questions about preferences and whether or not the Ghost can mismatch if they want.

Where do the non-standard come from? Glint was like that before he found Crow. Was the shell constructed by the Ghost as they shaped it? Were they born like that? (Knowing this game, both and more)

Can a Ghost make their shell completely disappear? Reduce it to the core? Can they make extra parts, or keep extra petal flaps around? Does dirt move with shell parts? Does the shell piece continue to exist outside of the Ghost, when the Ghost isn't paying attention? Does the same piece keep the same dirt on it between materialization? (I've always said yes about armor and guns until a recombination of the data is compiled, usually by upgrading)

I'm still pondering if they can exist outside their shell (so long as they aren't disrupted).

How much of the shell is actually under their control? Implications from shell configurations are that they can't control color pattern configurations and require a blueprint to follow; same with the flaps. Since the body is two shapes, I'm still inclined to think the narrative would see the Ghosts preferring one shape or another regardless of the rest of the shell but then the question becomes whether or not they can do that or if they're stuck with what's there.

What does this say about the solid chunk shells? Like the heart shaped shell or the squeaky toy? Did the Ghost climb inside of a thing they animate or did they shape it around themselves?

Of course, the REAL answer is that animating every single shell in the game into that cut scene would be a massive pain in the ass and the reversion saves the effort, data, and time; and is a great way to kill him visually, with more impact than just the eye winking out.

But I'm still having a great time thinking that Sunny keeps a spare bit of mind focused specifically on keeping her spare shell clutter in her "room" regardless of where she is.

Btw, speaking of Ghost shells, do you personally have a favorite one? I remember you said once that you liked the Cosmos shell as well. Did that change or any new ones got your attention? Or maybe you ever had a ghost shell concept that you would like to see on the game?

I loved the Destiny 1 ones where they got creative while preserving the original form: the Ghost shell (hilarious), Deviled (with little horns and tail), Crimson one being cute pink, etc. Its also cool when they have little ‘spikes’ like the Templar shell, for example. Or slightly different proportions - Sunlit or Scholar.

I don’t mind the variety in ghosts but almost none of the new ones have the classic shape, and their pool is so diluted that you just stop paying attention.

I love the effect on the Cosmos shell, it's fantastic (I wish it was less round in the shape though)! The one I use now and since it was added in the game is the Hareball shell. I got it when I managed to do a solo flawless Prophecy, so it's precious to me in a special way (yeah, I know for many people it's nothing and they solo dungeons 10 times a day, but for me it's a big achievement. EDIT: I know Hareball shell is for just soloing dungeon, not necessarily flawless, but I got it in the same run, so). Really sets the right mood for all cutscenes, alsdhjflksjl

Also I find it funny how by default my Hunter is a grim looking edgelord, but has one of the cutest Ghosts available. I think it's his Ghost's way of teasing him by ruining any attempts to look cool and professional 😂

(recently my Hunter embraced his inner identity of a Nessus frog tho, so I'm not sure anymore who's messing with whom in this duo)

Close second is the Hardlink shell, it's just. LOVE for obvious reasons. This is actually the one whose appearance I like the most, I think. And the third place goes to the Crimson shell, it's quite simple, yet flashy and gorgeous.

There are a lot of cool Ghost shells available! As I said, I like more classic shapes with some additions to it, like these two above; I'm also weak for glowing or moving parts (like the "eyelash" on the Imperious Sun shell). Here are all Ghosts in my inventory, I guess you can say they are my favorites, since most of them are there for years already:

As for stuff yet to be added - I'd love to have a Taken shell in D2! I believe in D1 it was called Kingslayer Shell (the classic Ghost with a Taken shader on it), but I'd appreciate something different with the same effect applied as well. That would've been so cool.......
