Okay so like. In my mind Yosuke totally came out to Kanji first when he got over his internalized homophobia shit, apologizing to Kanji and asking him for advice and shit. Kanji makes a couple jokes and stuff just to get back at him, but is overall very supportive because he's a good dude overall and knows how hard this is for Yosuke.

So imagine Yosuke being all "I don't know why it ended up like this, but I met a guy I really care about and before I knew it, I really liked him..." only for Kanji to just immedietly say "It's Yu, isn't it?". Yosuke worries about it being that obvious, to which Kanji assures it is to literally everyone but Yu. This would be all nice and funny but I'm a diehard Soukan-er so.

Yosuke gets all embarassed that Kanji could tell, and Kanji kinda just shrugs and is like "Eh, I like him too." Yosuke just blinks and before he can say anything Kanji gets a sad look and tells Yosuke he doesn't have to worry about him trying to get between them or anything, because he can tell Yu likes Yosuke way more than he likes him.

Wendy and Abby fuck me up so bad just like in general but what keeps coming back to haunt me is wondering how long they had to go through it all just them two. How many times did Wendy die, how many times did Abby watch the light fading from the eyes of her twin. How many times was it slow, how many times was it in a split moment, how many times were they together when it happened, how many times did Wendy die completely alone. It's just like god damn no wonder Wendy talks Like That not only did Abby die but poor kid has been forced to become accustomed with death in a much more direct way than even adults are built to handle

I have not seen the Rock of Ages movie and while I'm interested, frankly I doubt it can hold up to the wonders of the low-budget college theater club rendition. I'm sure a professional show would be more polished and technically perfect and also not have styrofoam and cardboard guitar props that fall apart in a stiff breeze but this production has my friends and the styrofoam/cardboard guitars I helped make so that means it's better.

you know what? i feel like we as a community at large have tentatively accepted and learned that activity / energy / interest is likely to fluctuate. i only see people talk about it when they are apologising / attempting not to apologise for being inactive, or for their focus having shifted away from one set of muses to another.

i'm saying this as someone whose interests are subject to change according to, idk, a slight breeze or a leaf falling from a tree somewhere in australia. and a statement along the lines of this also exists in my rules doc already so i don't know if this needs to be said at all.

but if you notice one of your friends shifting their focus to another blog or another muse, sending the same character(s) memes / requesting them over and over again likely will mean that you're going to have to wait longer for a response, since that isn't where their inspiration is right now. if you are the kind of person that feels discouraged by that (as i have been in the past), this won't help dispel that feeling. maybe someone will let this post encourage you to branch out and hit up your friends for stuff within the universe / for the characters that are vivid in their mind rn!!

#basically i think i worry a lot about boring slash losing writing partners when i don't deliver my hashtag popular muses #due to lack of inspo..... and i think maybe others feel the same #i don't WANT to feel that way bc this blog is for me to do what tickles the brain at the time but....... God my knee is actually killing me Still. What the FUCK. If this is actually unironically from the fire alarm yesterday I'm going to lose my shit. I still had the cane. It was like 50 meters at most. I walk around my dorm room without the brace and it doesn't do this (granted the dorm room is like. 12x6 feet but still). Yes it was cold and yes I'm not Supposed to walk around without the brace but I didn't exactly have time to stop and think about putting it on and even if I Had, I genuinely did not think it would cause this much fucking pain.

Oh god. I'm just now remembering that you used to be able to permanently hide YouTube videos from your subscription page. I would obsessively watch and then hide every single video from the YouTubers I followed.
