I refuse to go into more detail, but, I will no longer hold my tongue. my biggest gripe with this fandom is the way a majority of it erases Lo'ak's actual trauma and struggles (with his identity, his father/family, his clan, etc), and essentially gives him Spider's traumas/struggles in some idealized form (whether for over the top and oversimplified "hurt/comfort" scenarios, or max woobification), while absolutely dragging and/or ignoring Spider's entire character and the realistic depictions of those traumas and what that does to a kid.

like I can't exactly put words to it or go into a deep analytical post, but I've been thinking about it, and some other stuff I've seen online have been making me think about it.

stop doing a disservice to both of my boys. they both have such interesting and complex stories and you're ruining it!!!

Anyway Rappa and Boothill are both people with a lot of anger and hatred in their revenge-dedicated lives and they're also both wild and rowdy and used to being handled roughly, so they have an Understanding in each other about that anger, that it is nothing personal and nothing to be afraid of or worried about, and will use that understanding to fuck each other stupid as stress relief when they're pissed off. ☆

Sandra lived in a loving, yet toxic household. At the young age of 5, a woman named Hera convinced her to take her anger out on Irri by being her assassin. (Doesn't go very well for anyone in the end). She was pretty bad at it at first, but she got better over the years. One day she was looking out her window and spotted a strange man. She didn't think too much of it and left him alone. Fast forward a few months and she keeps seeing the same man. When she asks other Teles about it, they say they don't see him. When she was walking home one night, the man tried to attack her. She managed to escape and get home. He kept stalking her for a while but eventually stopped when she started to talk to her mom about it. Her mom cut her arms because she thought he'd be less interested in her due to her scars.

Sandra isn't sure why she's still trying to kill Irri but she's too far in to stop.
