Hello! I just found your blog and your writing is so good~! I enjoyed your “I Didn’t Know I Was Pregnant” series a bunch!! Are you, perchance, also going to do it with Simeon and Solomon? Thank you for your lovely writing~!

If I can remember to, maybe. I have to write their version of their kids being born through the original prompt first though

Which I'm kinda stuck on 😅 I have Simeon's more or less planned out, but with Solomon being human, I'm struggling to come up with anything to make MC's pregnancy with his child interesting.

It was so easy with the demons, but Solomon's is so tricky.

So yeah, no "I Didn't Know I was Pregnant" versions for Simeon and Solomon till I get this done and figured it out. Honestly, I'll probably has trouble with both of theirs for this one when the time comes too.

I have a lot of brainstorming to do, as you can see, but if I can do it and remember to, I definitely will!

Is it just me or did they make the intro and shite waaaaaay easier? Like you get a wand with a one pip spell from all the classes as well as a heal. I am new to ice, also, so did they always have a stun this early?

Hey everyone, just wanted to give you an update on this informal study into making friends with Rime! Starting with the sentiment of oh my god, I have so much love for each and every one of you. I’ve never been in a fandom before that got so excited about & engaged in this kind of project – the response rate is so much higher than I expected, I’ve even had people who’ve done multiple playthroughs and recorded multiple sets of choices for comparison, everyone who answered the optional free-response questions has been so insightful and lovely (and funny! I’ve cracked up multiple times reading the free responses!), basically the entire experience has been awesome. If you’ve filled out the survey, thanks so so much, you’ve literally made my week ☺️💕

Re results – we currently have 77 responses to the survey (😮!). It’s still getting a steady trickle of answers, so I won’t be closing it until at least the end of this week, i.e. Sunday 13th February. My dream is that we’ll get a total of 100 responses by that time, but even if we don’t, I think we still have enough data to give us some good results. I’m currently aiming to release results by early March at the latest. If there are any changes to this plan, will definitely let you know, but until then – thanks again, love you all, and lmk if you uncover any more info about our favourite elusive deer-man 😉

Muriel’s reversed ending! I was feeling kinda angst-y today so I ended up rewriting the reversed ending first. This isn’t my full rewrite, just my take on some things that could have made the ending at least slightly better. Sorry it’s a bit short. The rest of it is basically the same as the cannon ending. Also, fyi, no, Muriel did not hesitate in killing Lucio, when the deed was done, however, it felt all too familiar to his time as a gladiator.

There was a moment of silence— a calm before the storm— when Muriel split Lucio in two. People on both sides held their breaths. On Lucio's side, masked nobles quivered in fear, on ours, in unjust excitement and glee. Then, the cheering broke out. Calls of celebration, shouts of victory, and cries of relief. The people swarmed the arena. They crowded around Muriel. They rushed to the opposing side. Amidst it all, Muriel stared at his hands bloody and red, while his whole body trembled. The crowds split you apart from him, driving you away as they crowded around the supposed victor cheering their praise and cheering his name. When his eyes finally found yours amidst the swarm, you found yourself frozen in place. You didn’t dare move, nor utter a word, but the world around you did not share the same sentiment.

You reached out to him, trying to push through the crowd, trying to take his hands in yours, trying to keep him from being alone. His lips moved, the sound drowned in the sea of cheering. Overhead, the sky began to brighten with a red glow. Everyone looked as if they had been bathed in blood and by Muriel's expression you were not exempt.

"GET AWAY FROM ME!" He bellowed in time as the sky split in two, a deafening thunder punctuating his sentence. The nail in your coffin.

Instantly the crowd obeyed. They shut their traps and backed away, giving you access to Muriel. Their faces upturned, but you were too busy staring down Muriel.

Tears streamed down his face, as he gazed to you in horror. Eyes wide in a fear of what he had been reduced to. What he had returned to. As people screamed and fled, as the skies tore apart and thunder screeched above you walked up to Muriel in silence and held him in your arms. The world crashed around you as you sunk to your knees, guiding him down with you,  and adjusted your hold to wrap around his neck. The world was falling apart, but you'd be damned if you would let Muriel fall apart with it. You had failed the world. You would not fail him.

Together, alone, at the end of the world.
