I've been drawing but forgetting to post, so, if I've posted a few of these already just.... Bare with me here guys, I'm going through it😭

and here is the white piece set! this set was the first i finished so i spent a bit longer on the details of these characters even though they'd be the size of an eraser. surprisingly the tweedles were the hardest for me to design. the characters from right to left: white queen, white king AND unicorn, the tweedles, white knight, the sheep, alice AND the gnat, haigha and the hatta.

Haigha and Hatta, the White King's messengers! I based their designs on my friend's characters based on the March Hare and Mad Hatter respectively (with his permission, of course) to make them sort of like mirror images.

I also decided those would be their surnames, so, uh, given names Payton and Newton respectively. Took me way too long to think of names of Anglo-Saxon/Old English origin that would also fit with the Atbash cipher thing I was attempting with their initials and my friend's characters' initials. I am very autistic thank you for asking.

I always got the impression that in the original book, all of Haigha's interactions are an extension of Hatta's comments, as if Haigha was following after him. So, what if Hare stole Hatter's place in American McGee's? Why not, yesyes
