This line made me pause while reading the event to search up a translation of the lyrics for Engeki. While it's not an exact match to the dialogue ("Mom, I beg you...!" compared to "Is asking for that much so foolish, o, God?", it’s still close enough in terms of idea that it makes me go "ooough Mafuyu :("

Like obviously her mother isn't actually god but at this specific point in the narrative her mom IS the thing that "guides" (more accurately, controls) her life. And while I'm not sure who/what or even if there is a specific "god" that's being invoked here, I think the whole point is that they are a higher power with some degree of control; they have to be, if they're being asked (begged) of something like this.

In this particular context, Mafuyu begs for her phone back from her mom, because that's her lifeline to Nightcord and the rest of her group. Without it, she has no future; she's back to the bleak and miserable state of being alone, with nothing to stop her mother from crushing what little of Mafuyu's sense of self that she was able to regain over the previous events. Is asking for that too much? All she wants is her phone (her future). Because, as the song puts it, as everything is now, it's all void, empty.

Hihi!! Very funny that you ask hehehe.,, I'm going to try and keep it short but... yall probably know the routine by now😅 me keeping things short isn't my forte.

Really, it was lovely I think! I asked him out, after we had a very...we're definitely in love with each other moment, cause I was very nervous about whether he did or didn't love me back or not.

I had a little adventure with it, I thought asking him out some time around the evening would be quite nice, and before then during the day, I went out and got little goodies and gifts I think he might enjoy, one of my favorite things that I did that I'm super excited over and love to share! Is that I got him a nice bouquet, I don't know flower meanings very well so I got ones that had personal meanings to me or that reminded me of him, and I also got him a vase!! So every time the flowers die I have an excuse to get him more!! I'm real proud of that idea hehe!!! Makes me feel like a real smartiepants.

I didn't give him much of any warning, I just showed up and knocked on his door and presented him with flowers and a bag of goodies🥰 in the bag I got him some chocolates, one is just a heart shaped box of assorted chocolates and the other is some that I've been dying to give him that I thought he would love, those Queen Anne/Cella type of cherry chocolates,,,

I also got us matching stuffed bears,, the one I gave him is wearing the button-up and vest that I normally wear, and the one I keep is wearing the suit that he normally wears,,

I just made him relax the rest of the night, ran a bath for him and set out nice soaps and a fluffy towel,, that sorta good fun stuff!! Mayormaynothavejoinedhim
