Gar heard Rachel and Dick's voice 🥺
Tumblr media
Dominic... What a great motivational speech!!!
He scared the poor boy and tried to isolate him from his family. He was dissing the Titans, Dick like they are some kind of a barrier to him.
Yeah the Titans, Dick might have done some mistakes in the past but they never willingly put him in danger or manipulated him. Dick trained him, Kory protected him, Rachel, Tim, Conner all love him.
I felt Dominic was frustrated with his position and just wanted to hand over the Red to Gar as soon as possible.

Courtney!!! How much I miss Stargirl. Wish we got more of them in the crossover like both the JSA and Titans. However, I will take this.
Tumblr media
Niles Caulder!!! I hope you are alive in this universe so that Gar can kick your ass.

Stargirl Cancellation and CW
I’m definitely disappointed about the cancellation but I think it’s nothing more than just bad timing with the Nexstar situation. I have a feeling Superman and Lois is going to face the same fate after it’s 3rd season. New owners just like cleaning house and gettting a fresh slate
It’s disappointing that all these cast and crews dedicated almost a decade to building a major DC Universe (that can be argued to be more consistent than the movies) just to throw it all in the trash in the manner of a couple of years.
tt makes me wonder if the situation with Stargirl would be different if it had moved to HBO Max. That seemingly weird crossover with Stargirl, Doom Patrols, and Titans, I think is supposed to be a full circle thing with the leftovers from the DCUniverse service
The only reason Stargirl even aired on CW was because CW was in need of programming in the 2020 summer, and it got enough buzz there to take it. I have a feeling it might have got at least another season to be equal to Titans and Doom Patrol if it had moved to HBO Max insstead. I really am curious how different the show would have turned out in that instance

one of the best parts of stargirl season 2 is cindy going up to cameron w the intention of getting him in her Bad Kid Squad and he almost completely unprompted is just like You are the worst and I hate you and No One likes you and You said some fucked up shit in the 4th grade Leave me Alone. and she was like okay and just went welp i guess he's out

I'll say it in hopes that other people will agree with me on this, though I doubt that'll be the case, but DC's Stargirl deserved better. As a DC fan who knew little-to-nothing about the character and discovered her back on DC Universe when it was a streaming platform, I absolutely adored Stargirl. Stargirl was the first show from DC, in a very long time, that matched the happiness, enjoyment and all around positive vibe that season one of The Flash had. From start to finish, Stargirl put the biggest smile on my face and it is so incredibly unfortunate that the show has been canceled. You can tell how much love was put into the show by the cast of Stargirl just from their social media posts, let alone interviews. DC's Stargirl should've never moved to TheCW from DC Universe (the streaming platform) because an argument can easily be made that if it didn't, it'd probably be doing fine on HBO Max just like DC's Titans and DC's Doom Patrol. I hope that Brec Bassinger at least gets to reprise her role as Stargirl in the new cinematic DC Universe being headed by James Gunn. She at least deserves that much, if or when that time comes around.

Honestly, I'm feeling a lot of things right now. I was preparing myself for this once I knew WB is cancelling current DC works left and right.
But, it hurts because these are my comfort shows.
Last time, I watched a DC show it was Arrow and stopped watching after S2.
It was in the evening five years ago, when I discovered Titans in YouTube. I started watching only to confirm whether it was a found family trope after catching a glimpse and immediately fell in love with it.
Titans is the reason, I came back to DC universe and was introduced to Doom Patrol and Stargirl. Doom Patrol just blew my mind and Stargirl was so good.
Seriously, when it comes to Titans I just wish we had the writing staff of S4 way back from S2. S2 was such a wasted opportunity. They gave unnecessary time to others instead putting their focus on Kory and Gar. S3 was a little better but not what I hoped. There could have been so many developments till now. Titans felt Titans only in S4 & S1. Instead of giving too much time on the former Titans or the Gotham storyline, they could have developed the core team and avoid stretching out Dick issues EVERY DAMN SEASON.
Kory & Gar deserved better. Anna and Ryan deserved better.
When it comes to Stargirl, it ended so soon. I still haven't watched the last 4 eps because I don't want to say goodbye.
Doom Patrol always blew my mind. I'm hurt, these two shows' writing was good. They didn't deserve this.
My hope was renewed when I learnt that there was a chance there will be S5 of Titans. That we can get another better season like the current one.
But, it's not fair that we had to satisfy ourselves with whatever little we got when we could have gotten so much more if they showed the same amount of passion early on, which they are showing this season.

So just go with... StarGIRL is cancelled. And we can have season 1 of Star WOMAN, featuring the fully formed JSA in their mid to late twenties, over on HBO Max. Right? Done and done. it’ll be great.

I'm SO SAD about stargirl ending and I've only ever been a casual fan (big fanatic of hournite tho!) I love the show as a whole and want it to continue. do u think if all of us continue streaming it in the background, we could get the show picked up elsewhere? lol just wishful thinking, the denial is real!!
I know it all feels futile. The thing is, it’s not. The best bet of saving Stargirl is to have HBO Max reconsider declining the s4 pitch. When Johns/the other execs pitched Stargirl s4 to HBO Max way back in the Spring, likely April or May, nobody was watching Stargirl on the streaming platforms and there was virtually no promo that would incite new viewers. Naturally, they looked at our hiatus numbers and said no. But there are opportunities for that to change if we mobilize the fandom to get HBO Max’s attention. Yes, watch live and stream the show (especially on HBO Max but also Amazon Prime etc internationally wherever you get it) while we still have the last 3 episodes to air, but these next few things are the most important:
1. Watch the finale. Ask your family and friends to turn on their tv to tune in to the Stargirl s3 finale—Seriously. If we can hit a million viewers for the finale, it shows them that a lot of people were and are interested in the story. Ending with the highest ratings we can will look good
2. Watch Titan’s “Where is my Gar” — The Titans/Stargirl crossover is an important week to tune in to, it’ll show HBO Max that people care about Courtney — And use that week to stream Stargirl seasons 1-3. It will be expected that new fans who are interested in Courtney and will only be introduced to her in this crossover will check out Stargirl, thus bumping the # of viewers for the show and we should help add to those numbers by doing the same.
3. Get loud about the show on social media. A lot of people watch this show but our online presence is sleepy. While the fandom can try as much as we can to get James Gunn’s/HBO Max’s attention to save Stargirl, there is really only so much we can do. We’re not execs who can make these pitches. But if we really buckle down on our discontent about Stargirl being cancelled by talking about what we WOULD want for a season 4, we could hopefully rally enough attention to get some cast on board a save campaign again. It’s just not going to happen without efforts on both sides.

Possible Out There Theory for DC television shows
With the upcoming small crossover thing with Stargirl, Doom Patrol, and Titans I wonder if they’re testing how it does to consider having all these superhero shows share a universe on HBOMax now that the Arrowverse only has the final season of The Flash left and then it’s over
My idea is that Stargirl, Superman & Lois, and possibly the upcoming Gotham Knights show (though that would be a weirder case since Titans already has some Batman things covered) could all move to being HBOMax originals.
