You can kinda get the picture of how Dimitri and Claude are related from Hopes & Houses lore. There seems to have been frequent intermarriages between House Blaiddyd and House Riegan. The first Duke Riegan married the Luna Knight who was a Blaiddyd according to Ashe's support with Hapi and it's confirmed that Claude is descended from Kite Blaiddyd (which means Claude & Dimitri's nearest ancestor at minimum is Klaus I who lived a little over 200 years ago) in Hopes. But I imagine that it's called a branch family because there was a male Blaiddyd that continued the Riegan line with a Riegan woman. I wouldn't be surprised if Tiana looked like a Blaiddyd (blonde hair and blue eyes) or somewhere close to that

What I wouldn't get for a genealogy of noble houses lol -

Like imagine if Hubert's sister has the trademark Goneril hair, because Hubert's grandma hanged out with a Goneril third son (before killing him), thus Hubert and Holst are distantly related?

For a game that hammers the "crust" issue or, in Nopes, the "lineage/uwu nobility" issues, intermarriages and bastard children and what not are completely absent from Fodlan.

I know I've joked about those plotbunnies already, but imagine a member of House Blaiddyd having a Crest of Seiros, when in Adrestia Ionius rolls over and over to get a Seiros crested baby, to no avail! Or a Gautier who is born with a crest of Cethleann, thus who cannot use the Lance of Ruin!

Or, what if Sylvain wasn't born with a Gautier Crest, but Lorenz was? Would Lorenz (Erwin) push for his son to take over House Gautier, since he is the only one able to defend the border with the Lance of Ruin, or worse, ask to "recover" the Relic from the Gautiers, since they cannot use it?

Maybe Tiana had the more traditionnal "Blaiddyd look", because fantasy genetics are fantasy, but tbh, the game ignored the opportunity to give us heirs of Great Families who don't have their ancestor's matching crest (imagine if Miklan was born with a Crest of Cichol - he still wouldn't be able to use the Lance of Ruin, would Matthis still dishinerit him for Gautier Crested Sylvain?) and that's a damn shame.

I mean, coming from Jugdral with all of its plot pitfalls for a possible 3rd gen (Ced doesn't have major Sety blood in FE4, imagine if the Sety Major Blooded child is Arthur, aka Duke Freege? Would Arthur bail out on Freege and make a claim on Silesse's throne? Ditto for potential 5 Major Od randoms for 1 Isaacian throne!).

JUNGWON : eating pizza crust , he is the ‘give it to me’ kind of guy when you don’t like to eating something. oh you don’t like pickles , tomato’s , crusts , just give it to him he will eat it gladly , if you don’t like anything in your food he would 100% remove it before you eat , it’s like he knows you better than you know yourself “stop making that face , i know give it to me , i will eat it”

NIKI : borrowing his cool clothes , niki has an amazing collection of hoodies you love to steal , i mean come on it’s not your fault they are soft , comfy , oversized and cool. he rolls his eyes every time he sees you in his clothes but he is secretly super proud of his fashion sense because you like it , he do gets cocky on that fact but we love our boy 😫🫶🏻 , will always show the clothes he brought to you , like a little fashion show “yn is that my tie you are wearing as your belt”

FINDING TENKO BEFORE AFO HCS!

you've sparked his hope that heroes are still the same people as he thought they were, although it's a little different now, he'll ask for All might merch here and there but he does like different heroes.

speaking of heroes, he makes you play All Might while he's either a sidekick or civilian, sometimes he'll be All might too to show how he saw you on the day that you saved him.

he loves helping out with chores, like i said he's REALLY clingy and wants any bit of approval from you.

that being said, he will grow up a little spoiled but a huge (parent)'s boy, he does get bullied for it a little though ):

he once got into a fight with other students because they were picking on how you looked (you know how cruel kids can be)

he'll come to you for help with anything and if you have any illnesses/injuries (chronic or longtime, or even just a cold,) he'll freak out and act like you'll die, ESPECIALLY when he was younger, there's a bunch of times he's cried over this.

he is an ipad kid.

he plays alot of games on it, but once he got older you realized how toxic the gaming space was (if you weren't a past gamer yourself) and tried to get him to stop but he saw how worried you were and tried to keep it a secret instead.

easily jealous of ANYONE! adults? that's his parent! not your friend! other kids? that's his parent! not yours!

helping him come over his quirk was a little scary (and pricey) but now with his specialized gloves he's not afraid to hug you anymore <3

he loves it when you give him baths or help apply medicine to his itches, even though it rarely itches anymore, he still loves it.

please give him some TLC, especially on that ugly lil' frog face of his. he loves hugs, any kind of physical affection makes him so happy because your not afraid of him.

please don't baby him infront of his friends, don't wipe his cheeks, don't cut the crusts off of his sandwich, don't take the meat off the bones for him, he loves you dearly but he's put on a tough guy act at school, don't let it show that he's really a big softie inside!

Random phantom HC

- they have the worst echolalia, and will constantly repeat things over and over like a parrot. Generally funny sounds, or just the chorus of a song, enough to drive the others absolutely insane. (Even worse when dew or rain join in for fun)

- they don’t eat the crusts on his sandwiches, and mountain often eats them for them

- as the name suggests they can move silently, but they are massively clumsy so you’ll generally hear when they bump into something or trips over something (usually their own tail)

-they absolutely don’t understand sarcasm and Swiss takes every possibly opportunity to fuck with them

I’m in a very hurt/comfort mood so do you have any hcs about the first time the Curtis brothers got sick after their parents died? They’re all trying to take care of each other while also dealing with so much grief because it’s really hitting now that their parents are gone and maybe the gang knows how hard it has to be so they come over and help them out? I feel like it was Pony who ended up staying a bit too late at his parents grave one night and many weeks of not sleeping that finally caught up with him and he got the flu

Darry absolutely did not know what to do-usually his mom would make them herbal tea and soup when they were sick but DRry isn’t sure how to do it exactly right

Soda just spends his time snuggling a very sick Pony because it’s all he knows how to do

Pony gets super delirious and accidentally calls Darry dad and it just….hits Darry all at once. He’s their dad now. He’s their dad. His dad is gone. And he just swallows down tears as he shakes his head and has to correct Pony

Soda needs up getting sick next cause he’s in close proximity to Pony all the time, half by Pony’s request that he doesn’t wanna be alone because his mama used to snuggle him when he was little and it brings him comfort and because Soda is just a golden retriever that cannot be without human contact for more than ten minutes

So Darry is caring for both of them

He dug through their parents bedrooms and found the herbal tea packets Mrs. Curtis had made herself before she died and he almost had a breakdown making it

Soda begged him to stay and cuddle and Darry couldn’t say no. So then Darry ended up getting sick

Honestly it was Two Bit who first came over-he would bring Pony his make up assignments and he found all three Curtis brothers in the living room on the couch-Pony’s been crying, Darry looks beyond exhausted and Soda has crusted vomit on his shirt

Steve wasn’t far behind because he was ready to tear Soda anew one for skipping work but then he was just like “oh 🧍‍♂️”

Two Bit and Dally steal medicine a lot-it’s not the best but they make sure to get wherever they can without getting caught

Honestly Johnny would be so confused too as of what to do-his own parents couldn’t give a rats ass when he was sick but the Curtis parents taught him how to make food-and Dally is banned form the kitchen along with Steve and Two Bit majes wonkier food than Soda does so Johnny is the only one allowed to cook

Dally has threatened Darry to stay laying down and resting because “I’m not dealing with your sick ass trying to work man 😡”

Steve usually takes over as Soda’s new pillow because the Curtis brothers are all sweating on each other and it’s lowkey nasty

Steve is also the one to hold Soda’s hair back when he pukes, babies 🥺

Two Bit knows a good deal of what to do when people are sick because he has Kit (his sister) wt home but he often babies Pony because Kit is like…7 or 8 and Pony hates it

“I ain’t a little kid anymore 😡” says the one who looks like Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer while curled up in a floofy blanket with tissues surrounding him, ok buddy

They all listen to the Curtises sickened rants about how they miss their parents-Johnny was. a bit rigid because he didn’t know what to do-but he listened. Sally half listened but he did actually somewhat care. Steve just held Soda and Two Bit was the most empathetic actually. He gave them words of reassurance and whatnot. He was so super sweet.

They all’s n’s up getting better in the end!
