It was a warm afternoon as you got your scuba gear on, preparing to dive in the depths of Fontaine on a mission to look for flowers for your beloved boyfriend, Lyney’s, magic show tonight. Dottore and artist!reader?👉👈 Reader just quietly sitting in a corner while Dottore tinkers with something, sketching him in their sketchbook. Of course when they notice him getting closer they snap their sketchbook shut (Because it's rather embarrassing being caught drawing someone you know...) Dottore is always amused but also a bit annoyed that they're hiding something from him. And it doesn't just apply to drawing! They do everything! They paint, they play instruments, they write, they crochet, etc. And I can imagine them dabbling into mechanical things as well! Mostly for design and not really function (They made him a little mechanical raven one time, and he may or may not have upgraded it to be able to move around and added a camera to spy on people...) They play music and compose it (I like to imagine that they composed Dottore's introduction theme in-game 👉👈) You can always hear their music faintly playing down one of the halls. Sometimes they even sew clothes for him! (Not that he uses them often, he probably has a few copies of the same clothes if they get dirty or damaged...) Clothes that are pretty, but functional and practical for his lab, because he hardly ever leaves the damn place... (hehe, making him a pretty suit if you ever need to attend one of the Tsaritsa's ball's...) I also like to imagine a scenario where they have a bunch of paintings of him hidden somewhere, and they'd get really embarrassed if Dottore would find them... I mean, it does look as if they are obsessed with him with how many paintings they have of him... (He will tease them endlessly about it, and even offer to model for you since you seem so captivated with his looks... of course you can only tease him back and stun him into silence by telling him to take off his clothes so you could paint him nude for the first time :) )

While I'm sure there is some canon/lore reason for Lynette to have the cat ears and tail and Lyney and Freminet to not, until it is cleared up I will die on the found family hill. They're not siblings by blood, they're siblings by choice.

If the theory or leak - I am a bit unclear which it is - that Lyney and Lynette were raised in Arlecchino's orphanage is true, then the found-family theory is only given further credence. Obviously it is also possible that they're putting on a front for nefarious reasons - or some other reasons, at any rate - but I like to believe that come what may, the three are loyal to each other first and foremost.

Also, Freminet gives me Albedo vibes. I really dig the theory that he is not organic/ he is a creation or puppet of some sort. I really like him, he seems a very interesting character with lots of potential.

I'm excited to see the direction Genshin goes with their story and will continue to build my repertoire of half-baked headcanons until then (and I will continue once/if their canon story is revealed, too - just under the guise of AU HC now)

eventually, both lynette and freminet began to notice the decreasing distance between you two, and slowly began to work towards nudging you two together.

lyney tried- really hard to bury his growing attraction towards you, but eventually he just couldnt keep it in. he needed you in his life in a different way- he was aching for you.. to love you.

it wasn’t that easy, though. his feeings came with much difficulty. he had a hard time expressing how he felt, until eventually he’d just chicken out.

however with some pushing from lynette and freminet, he wrote a letter to you, seeing as he could not bring himself to verbally tell you.

he slipped the note in your bag, requesting for you to simply ignore the letter and continue as is in your friendship if you did not feel the same.

he could have not been farther from the truth, however, as you did feel the same. exactly the same.

the following day, you leaped into his arms, much to his surprise, and planted a kiss smack on his cheek.
