O'Connor

- i think lots of people think Mary is O'Connors wife, but I actually think hes talking about his daughter! Someone on the SWTD reddit said the ones who turn into The Shape are sort of traumatized or broken in some way, and the shape seems to lure/sedate its victims by making it think someone they care about is talking to them, so my mind immediately goes to O'Connor had a wife who either died or left and Mary is all he has. Poor guy :(

- I feel like he would be the type to go up to Trots when they first meet and ask if he can "see how blind" Trots is by trying on his glasses lol (he means well though!!)

- Poor man has night terrors like nobodies business. I like to think hes had night terrors the week leading up to what happens in the game about The Shape, but in very vague ways. Has probably told Trots or Gibbo about them as a joke.

Gibbo

- Again, a lot of people on reddit speculate that people who are traumatized or broken, I think his father left him or maybe just isnt a very great guy, since he tells Caz to tell his mom he'll be home soon, and since his ramblings sometimes sound like something an angry/neglectful father would say to a kid. I think Gibbo def gives off mamas boy vibes

- BIG. OLE. SOFTIE!!!! Definitely is the one who hung up all the christmas decor, and helped Dobbie with decorating their shared cabin.

- Definitely has seen some weird shit that Rennick has told him to stuff down, the "flashing lights" in the ocean, creatures that come up that he chalks up to being weird sea creatures so he can sleep peacefully at night

- I feel like in a weird way, he would survive the explosion and make his way to the main land, maybe to see his mom again or to try an find help

Trots

- I personally fucking adore Trots, he feels like the dad friend of the crew, the type that goes up to the crew when Rennick is up their asses and tells them to stand up for what they think is right.

- Always making passive aggressive comments around Rennick, Caz and Roy are always having to break the two up when they get into heavily heated arguements

- In his infected form, i think it shows a lot about the stresses he has as a union person and as a person in general. He feels like hes always having to clean up peoples messes, make sure things are working the way he should be, I feel like he puts on a composed face infront of everybody but is heavily stressed by his duties to keep everyone from getting killed

- I think he likes melancholy music :] soft and sad tunes that you can take a nap to while it rains outside

Finlay

- Can throw back shots like nobodies business, Caz and Muir are constantly doing drinking games with her and she always wins (though the hangover afterwards for her is more of a lose than anything)

- Constantly messing with Addair by getting into political battles and not giving him any satisfaction in seeing her get angry or anything, will sometimes just throw in random hyper-exaggerated takes to see him get mad

- As we seen from the paper, an absolute fucking wizard at darts, like, to the point where if shes drunk as all hell shes still able to hit multiple middles in a row

- Has nightmares too, but about her son. I cant imagine how hard it was for her to make it past the Shape hearing her son singing and calling out to her :((

- I feel like shes also pretty close with Roy, goes out for smoke breaks with him and stuff like that

Caz

- Double jointed. Maybe im just projecting onto him but the way his legs hurt from like THE SMALLEST OF FALLS is some double jointed problems shit. That being said, he totally does that bending-finger-back party trick for the crew, Trots tries to warn him against doing it but the look of disgust and suprise on the crews face will always make him do it again lol

- Was accidentally the first person to find out about Muir and Innes's relationship. He caught them kissing in the mud room, ever since then hes tried to be like,,,, overly accepting to the point where every time Innes and Muir are walking together he gives them a thumbs up like a dork

- Keeps his hair long despite Rennick and Addairs comments because Suize likes it that way (you cannot tell me Caz doesnt like getting his hair pulled lmao he is WHIPPED for that lady)

- I like to think his afterlife is him haunting his house, i know that may sound shitty but i want that man to be able to watch his weans grow up :(((

CW hospitals and medical stuff heyo! This is based partially off of my experience and therefore will probably be more on par with things in america.

Hob and Dream both get sent to the ER separately. Hob over a sport’s injury and Dream having some incredibly horrid insomnia issues. Hob and Dream sit next to each other coincidentally and unfortunately for Dream, Hob’s a talker. Dream is not even listening half convinced Hob’s lost it when they both suddenly notice an Elderly woman and her son come in, she is in a lot of pain and the son says he’ll be back to take a smoke break.

“he’s going to leave her here” Dream mutters the first time he’s spoken in the hour they’ve been there.

“No that’s horrible! Who would do that to their mother?” Hob asks

“people have problems, you don’t know about,”

hob hums thoughtfully,

“I’ll bet you twenty dollars her son comes back”

dream simply nods feeling he is about to become twenty dollars richer. When thirty minutes later the son comes back.

“yes,” Hob whispers “hope in humanity triumphs!”

Dream grumbles and starts digging through his purse.

“I was kidding, I don’t need the money, I’m Hob by the way”

“I know,” Dream says. “I also know you were born in 1989”

Hob is taken aback “how’d you know that?”

so for the next six hours that they are waiting they swap stories and make more bets. Hob finally gets a room and dream bemoans the fact that he forgot to ask for Hob’s number. Until… Dream gets his room and hey turns out he’s rooming with Hob!

Dream sits down primly on his bed. Hob’s injury is fairly severe so he has to stay a few days, and so does Dream but Hob’s not exactly sure why, they’ve always got him hooked up to the vital machine but he doesn’t seem…sick? by day three Dream is defeated. “Hey Dream…what’s wrong?”

“they won’t let me go home, until I get a full eight hours,”

“I CANT sleep hob! I don’t know what’s wrong with me! Why can’t I do a basic human function like every other human being!” it then occurs to Hob that he’s never seen Dream sleep, Dream was awake when hob fell asleep and already up when Hob woke up. Hob assumed he slept while the other was sleeping but apparently not.

“you want to try something a tad bit unorthodox?” “I’ll do anything,” dream practically begs.

Dream finally nods and Hob hobbles over to his bedside they managed to get themselves in an order where dream was laying on top of Hob’s chest.

Dream falls asleep and stays asleep. the next morning Dream’s doctor comes in and is like “Did you mess with the monitor it says you got a full eight hours,”

“No sir, I simply found a natural remedy,”

Hob waves to the doctor, he’s back in his own bed.

the doctor still wants to monitor Dream for a few days to make sure it wasn’t a fluke. Eventually Hob decides to just stay in bed with Dream, it’s easier on his foot that way. and once the two have fully recovered after a few weeks, they go on their first of many dates.

Thank you for sending this!!! The dialogue you've added really made me melt, they're so sweet. I love the image of Hob, well, hobbling over to Dream with his broken foot. The doctor and the nurses on duty all pretend to be cross about breaking hospital rules, it's really not allowed, blah blah blah. But no one actually tells Hob to get out of Dream’s bed. They can see that he's curing their grumpiest (affectionate) and most horribly sleep deprived patient, and despite the rules they're not going to interfere with such clear progress.

The problem comes when both of them are discharged. Dream will no longer be able to sleep on top of Hob. But there is one solution - Hob could do with a bit of home help, with his foot still unusable. Dream immediately offers his services (he's a terrible nurse but he tries his best, bless him) in exchange for a solid 8 hours passed out with his head on Hob’s chest.

When they finally leave Hob’s flat for that long awaited date, Hob still has the cute hobbly walk, and Dream still has dark circles under his eyes. But they're MUCH better together. And yes, Dream is moving in to Hob’s place properly tomorrow <3

# also an only child, but he loves it because it means less stress put upon you. he does all the groceries and cooks in the house as a thank you for always taking care of him as a single mother with NO help whatsoever.

# constantly tells you how he’s proud to be your son.

# he speaks fluent spanish, no language barrier whatsoever! he learned japanese first in school but learns to understand and speak spanish at home. he thinks it’s more efficient if he can do both.

# he brings over the founding members of toman a lot, and you let him. he’s a really good kid and you’re proud of him.

# you found out how him and mikey became friends and you scolded him for 2 weeks straight. mikey snickered watching his friend get scolded.

# ran was the problem child out of the two of them. you constantly had to scold him on skipping school.

# rindou wasnt that much of a bad kid, only when he took after his brother did you really start scolding him.

# ran was the type of kid to get popped on the arm or head when he misbehaved in public. while rindou was the type of kid to get his ear pulled.

# with those two you had to bring your wooden spoon EVERYWHERE. because when one little monkey sees and does something, the other one sees it too and does the same thing.

# rindou was the only one out of them both to attempt to learn Spanish, so he can speak and understand it. ran is a lazy ass child so he doesn’t understand it or speak it whatsoever. luckily you know japanese and speak it to him whenever you’re scolding him.

# both of them are scared of you when you’re pissed off because both of them are in for it. the slightest thing that ticks you off will set the entire bomb of your anger off and now their in for hours upon hours of your yelling.

# they better get to doing chores and cleaning their room when your mad because those two will never hear the end of it if they don’t do something you like.

# when you realized both of them started causing trouble around town— and when I mean trouble, i mean picking fights with older guys at the ages of 12 and 13— they got their asses handled.

# when they got sent to juvie for causing a guys death, you visited them everyday. you expressed how disappointed you were with them, and that you couldn’t believe that they took it this far.

# they both hated that you were disappointed in them and made their hearts shatter. the look you gave them while shaking your head and mumbling in spanish almost brought them to tears. you? ashamed of them? how could this happen?

# they were picky eaters as kids, they didn’t like to eat plain white rice or anything that was unseasoned. they loved when you made pork chops and yellow rice and beans, it was like their favorite meal. they asked for it every night, and when you told them you had already made it they would start pouting.

# they’re not allowed to have any friends over, they all scare you. you’ve threatened to call the police on them because one of them was smoking in your house.

# they went to church with you a lot when they were younger. as teens now, they use the phrase “en el nombre del padre hijo y del espíritu santo” before they knock someone out cold while fighting. if they manage to leave a gruesome scene they say “amen” every time.

# rindou wears glasses while ran wears contacts. ran hates wearing his glasses you bought him so he got his own contacts. rindou couldn’t care less and wore his glasses. everytime they wake up and forget to wear either of them, you laugh when they run into something or can’t read something.

# they’ve never actually had attitudes with you, they’re usually respectful.

# they get their tempers from you. and their little sassy stances are from you too.

# ran enjoys even now when you brush his hair. you were always the one to braid it when he was younger.

Ok so to explain Lolbit, you'll need a little background--

In my sister location AU I was thinking that William uses the circus as a front to go from town to town killing kids. He takes the remnant of his victims and puts them in the animatronics. This remnant is making the animatronics more "human". Its giving them the ability to feel things like love, hate.. and fear..

Another detail is my animatronics do not move their face plates to appear more life like. The face plates are there for easy access to the endo skeleton and for easy make up changes and replacement. While the animatronic is in use, the faceplates are clamped shut. They are never meant to open them and are not supposed to see each other with them open.

This then leads us to Funtime Foxy. He went into a parts and service tent he wasn't supposed to go in.. and on a table he saw a set of purple and orange Foxy faceplates. But having been programmed to never remove the faceplates and having the remnant in his system.. he just.. couldn't understand what he saw.

It was his face.. but.. also not him? It had no eyes, no teeth, its jaw sat at a bizarre angle. It was.. horrifying. The remnant is really messing with Foxy's head after seeing that. He cant understand what he saw and is basically having "nightmares" about it. Seeing himself in the mirror as this "other Foxy" with missing eyes and a black mouth. With black sludge dripping from his eye sockets..

So "Lolbit" doesn't.. really exist..? Its more like a nightmare concept that Foxy created in his own head. And he just doesn't have the means to understand what he saw.

Yendo has a very similar story..

I couldn't find the original post talking about this, but if I remember correctly..

Mario and Luigi had found the mansion on one of their adventures and went inside. In which the boos locked the doors and turned out all the lanterns. The boos then proceeded to play tricks on the bros and got them separated. I think King Boo was watching the other boos from the shadows..?

Now Mario had gone into one of the rooms and there was a fire flower in a plant pot. Mario grabbed the flower and created a fireball in his hands so he could see. Immediately after that the entire mansion went completely silent. The Boos were all stunned. Someone absorbing a power up was so foreign, so terrifying... so.. so impossible, that all the boos were immediately terrified of them.

All the lights leading to the front doors lit up and the doors swung open. Mario and Luigi followed the lights, reunited and left the mansion. As soon as they stepped out, the doors and windows all slammed shut. Basically saying "DO NOT COME BACK IN HERE-"

Then the bros went home! Shaken, but safe and sound <XDD

Sooo since I have full control over this universe, I have decided that there will never be any consequences to eating food! WOO!! first post after introoo! (yes, i know i skipped a lot of letters, but a lot of them wouldn't make any sense to his character or I already talked about them in a previous letter)

A = Affection (How affectionate are they? How do they show affection?) I feel like most would say he wouldn't be very affectionate, and for the most part I agree. I feel like the levels of affection he would give you would be based on how long the two of you are dating for. I see him more as a gift giving type of guy then a physical affection guy. Like coming home to you and giving you random (or very expensive items that of course he stole) items and trinkets.

B = Best friend (What would they be like as a best friend? How would the friendship start?) I feel like a friendship with him would start randomly, one of those friendships that when someone asks "so, when did you two meet?" you just stare blankly trying to remember how. The most logical way you two probably would become friends is through work, or he just saw you on the street and just decided it was your (un)lucky day and forced you to be his friend

C = Cuddles (Do they like to cuddle? How would they cuddle?) Whenever I think about him cuddling I always just think its a little off for him. I feel like he would try to push you off or get all "annoyed" but secretly wants you to cuddle him. He just wants to put up a fight for no reason. For example, the two of you watch a movie and you are literally fighting to cuddle this guy and he just keeps pushing you off, his most frequent excuse would be

"you're to warm.." or "Its to hot out for that."

eventually he lets you, because you knew after awhile he would stop putting up a fake fight

D = Domestic (Do they want to settle down? How are they at cooking and cleaning?) This one is confusing me a little not gonna lie. But no, I don't think he would ever want a domestic type thing. not saying he would "cheat" or whatever but I cant see him wanting to settle down, especially because of how much he loves to fight with batman. Would be pretty hard to do that if he was married with kids, at least to him it would be. With the whole cooking and cleaning thing, he sucks at both. Absolutely cannot cook, I swear that man would burn water, and the whole cleaning thing? he's 100% one of those people who don't make their bed EVER because

"I'm just gonna mess it up again"

G = Gentle (How gentle are they, both physically and emotionally?) NOT GENTLE AT ALL. This man would be an absolute tease. I feel like he would even "make fun" of you, but he wouldn't see it that way he would see it more as poking fun. He would only be KIND OF gentle if you're crying.

H = Hugs (Do they like hugs? How often do they do it? What are their hugs like?) Its the same thing with the cuddling thing, He would pretend to hate it so much but would secretly love it

"Fine, I guess we can hug a little."

His hugs depend on your mood 100%!! If your feeling sad I think he would be just a bit more gentle with the hugs if you asked for one. He probably wouldn't give you one without you asking. But if you're doing fine I feel like his hugs would get pretty aggressive.. like a classic tight bear hug.

I = I love you (How fast do they say the L-word?) This one has me a little stuck to, im in-between him saying it VERY fast and him not saying for a long time. I feel like he would maybe wait for you to say it first. Its like the whole hug situation, if you do it first he will follow.

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?) Oh, this guy is JEALOUSSS!! IF he sees someone look at you just a little weird he will freak the fuck out. Expect to see that person on the news tomorrow. But i do feel if you told him to stop being so jealous or that his jealousness made you feel a little iffy he would try to tone it down jus for you. He would definitely still feel all those possessive emotions though.

K = Kisses (What are their kisses like? Where do they like to kiss you? Where do they like to be kissed?) This guys a sucker for kisses, He loves kissing your forehead specifically. He will kiss anywhere and everywhere, he does not care. His kisses are for sure on the more passionate side (pulling hair into a kiss...WHO SAID THAT?!??!) He loves when you kiss him anywhere...his cheek is nice though.

M = Morning (How are mornings spent with them?) Be ready to cook for this guy, and if you cant cook? I guess you have to figure something else out because 1. He cant cook, and 2. he refuses to do anything in the morning. He doesn't get much sleep, he usually comes home late at night or not even at night at all so once he wakes up from his sleep he might be a little grumpy, AND IF SOMETHING WAKES HIM UP THATS NOT NATURAL...oh he will be mas and pissy for the rest of the day.

N = Night (How are nights spent with them?) I don't have a lot of write for this one, as I said he's not really home at night, so when he is its special and you better make the most of it!

T = Try (How much effort would they put into dates, anniversaries, gifts, everyday tasks?) Depends on the occasion, if its anniversary or a birthday he will go above and beyond for you. I mean this man could basically get you pretty much anything you wanted. But if its just some random date sure he would still try really hard to do anything you wanted but wouldn't go that hard into it if it wasn't a special event.

U = Ugly (What would be some bad habits of theirs?) Defiantly hygiene, he just doesn't care. He would probably try a little harder with brushing teeth and washing hair when you start dating him just because you would force him to.

V = Vanity (How concerned are they with their looks?) all I can say is DOES. NOT. CAREE!!

W = Whole (Would they feel incomplete without you?) He feels incomplete always, maybe he would feel a little better and this probably isn't what anyone wants to hear but even after dating you he would probably have those same feelings about himself

X = Xtra (A random headcanon for them.) I HAVE PLENTY.

-Weirdly loves the sun and sunny days??

-Had A BUNCH of teeth problems growing up and kept every single type of braces he had

-He loves capri suns (dont ask)

-He hates any runny foods (eggs.)

Y = Yuck (What are some things they wouldn’t like, either in general or in a partner?) I was gonna remove this one, but I honestly just think I should say that I don't really think he would have a "turn off" from a person. Hes the last person to judge anything from anyone.

Z = Zzz (What is a sleep habits of theirs?) For sure talks in his sleep, I'm talking mumbling, rolling around, kicking all of it. Maybe he'll even sit up, say some creepy shit, then go back to bed and leave you confused and a little spooked. Then when you ask him about it he just says he doesn't remember doing that.

Summary: The world hates Joel, but he has ellie to make things a little better in this universe too

Joel should've know he must be the unluckiest motherfucker alive, at this point.

It ain't something he would lament about, It's just something he figured out as long as he can remember. When he was a boy, for example. He always have been a good child; never been a two-goody-shoes by any means but never been a bully and disrespected his elders either - the few times he threw some punches was because some kid or another tried to mess with him or his baby brother. But that didn't stopped his father - his role fucking model - from leaving Joel and his family just a week before Thanksgiving, passing the role of man of the house to Joel, who was just 14 years old by that time.

("Why do I have to be grateful for somethin'? He left all of us!" Tommy's voice was something high-pitched as he stormed out of the dinner table and ran to his room. Joel went after him, of couse, where he spent half an hour having a heart to heart with Tommy and trying to make a nine year old boy understand that his daddy leaving wasn't the end of their family. He also convinced him to come back for their holiday dinner with only three seats, his mother's grateful and brittle smile in his direction when they came back wasn't enough to make him feel less like shit).

Or in high school, when he finally conquered Grace Howard's heart and no longer after got her pregnant, consequence of their first real night together. That pregnancy was the best thing that ever happened in his life, God knows that, but the way it happened was too rushed for both of them. He felt like the whole world was against them. (And when Grace also left him with their one-year-old baby, because parenthood and Joel weren't worth staying for. Just like his father thought. This was one of the times that he felt most incapable.)

Hell, even on his birthday 20 years ago the world decided to get more complicated than it already was; life suddently becoming just a blurry of kill and survive to everyone. (Blood staining his shirt and arms while Sar-she was grasping for air that wouldn't fill her lungs, cries of pain merging with his own pleads. All Joel could think was that this wasn't supposed to be happening to them-)

So yeah, Joel is used to all the sort of shit happening to him, or being at the wrong place in the wrong time.

That's why he also should've guessed that the fireflies would start bombing in the middle of the street. Right near where he is.

Joel coughs dryly, his body heavy on the asphalt and painful from the impact of the explosion. His back will probably give him shit later for that. He looks around, eyes struggling to see anything other than people passing by him and dust. At least he already delivered those weapons, he thinks as he gets up and takes a look where the bomb exploded. There's a military vehicle destroyed across the street, fire and smoke coming from every part of it. The siren is already ringing, and the curfew warning is clear and loud for everyone to hear. Joel needs to get out of here, now.

So he follows the rest of the people that were also caught in the line of fire, not sure where that fucking came from or if there would be others. Out of the corner of his left eye, he notices a woman trying to walk with one leg bleeding, going in the opposite direction he is. A guy, young enough to be her son, tries to help her walk. That's the thing with the fireflies, he thinks bitterly. They can brainwash the Tommies in the world with their cheap good-samaritan propaganda all they want, but in the end, they're just greedy scumbags; stepping on whoever is in the middle of all this shit.

His legs are moving in one motion, he's just two blocks away from his place. Tess is probably home already like she was earlier, so joel doesn't have to worry about her in the streets right now. He just needs to walk faster and the day is over.

But when he was just about to turn the corner, he almost trips on his own feet.

Joel just has time to hear some curses from the people around him as Fedra soldiers arrive on the street with heavy boots echoing against the ground before shit hits the fan.

"Take this motherfuckers!" Some voice roars with rebellion from some building above him.

The shots start before he even blinks.

"You have to be fucking kidding me-"

The commotion around him increases; people running to the opposite side as the guards advance down the street, some of them already falling on their knees with holes on their bodies as the rest of them seem to shoot blindly. He hears some yelps of pain and some people shouting near him. He's walking as fast as he can, trying to come up with a strategy on how he could get back to the apartment without passing by their crossfire and at the same time try not to draw attention to him - he recalls some residents that were mistaken for fireflies before, and the end of most of them wasn't pretty.

But as he moves in agile steps and adrenaline courses through him, he can't help but feel that all of his body screams that something is off. He wants to move faster, he knows he can do better than this - but his legs begin to shake and he doesn't even have to look at himself to know he's pale. Something is wrong.

"Watch your step!" His shoulder bumps with a short man and he's looking at him up and down for a second, like he's judging. He meets WY in this same hospital, I don't remember if he works there, but I think it has something to do with Yanli. They connect through this situation, LZ eventually goes see his father and I think WY has some part in convincing him to do so.

C) Another modern AU, Lan Qiren is a priest/owns a church, the Lans are very religious and that includes LZ. WY is kind of a delinquent, he starts to go to the church and begins a friendship with LZ, who is very upright and frigid like in canon, plus the super religious part. I think LQ even says WY is a bad influence bacause of his behaviour and the things he did/does, but LZ realizes he is not that bad and there's probably some toutoring/disciplining envolved from his part. They are both teens or young adults and I specifically remember a scene when the two have sex inside the church with LZ being on the receiving end.

And while this is happening wwx meets xiao xingchen and lwj meets song Lan on the way. And it goes along with song Lan and lwj tailing wwx and xiao xingchen hoping to find them and explain everything and make up. I know wwx and xxc end up at baoshan sanren’s mountain and that lwj finds mo xuanyu during this and takes him with them. I remember the detail that a-qing brings song Lan to Lan wangji bc she knows they’re looking for a cultivator dressed in white with a white cloth “over his eyes” and she mistakes the forehead ribbon for that description. Any help is appreciated I have such a hankering to reread!

So i read a canon divergence fic long time ago that wangxian were betrothed to each other since young and wei wuxian always had to wear a mask and besides the jiang family no one was allowed to see his face, also he lived in a mansion in yilling with mian mian and xue yang, plus wei wuxian and lan wangji were pining hard in this fic. Also for the sake of her family wen qing married lan wangji. I feel like it was deleted from ao3 cause i searched a lot but i wanted to get help from you guys too.
