or during that week - not being able to talk to phantom as much as she's like because aether has him practicing so much and she's still slightly intimidated by the older ghoul so she doesnt wanna annoy him by stealing away his student so she seeks out mist - the solitary ghoulette who only really hangs out by the shore occasionally - but mist wasn't even aware there was a new ghoulette so she freaks out at the sight of rory and rorys left all alone with no clue how to make friends

or her returning back to the abbey hours later when everyone was stressing about where the fuck the tiny ghoulette disappeared to and turns out she got lost in the forest trying to find flowers for the girls as an apology because she saw mountain give them bouquets and she's covered in scratches and mud and bug bites and her hair is full of leaves and sticks and she's sobbing her eyes out and phantom runs over to her and won't let anyone near her for the whole evening and snaps at anyone who comes too close

but eventually aether gets them both to calm down and the girls bring aurora into their part of the den and clean her off (with phantom there watching over her the whole time because he's not that calm yet) and tell her she doesn't have to impress them and put cream on all her bites and braid her hair and tell her how pretty she is and how they're so happy she's here and eventually swiss pulls phantom away to talk to him about not trying to murder his packmates over aurora because none of them are going to hurt her (phantom saw aurora being upset because she got lost looking for stuff for the girls and immediately thought they did it on purpose) and when he leaves the girls make a big pile of pillows and blankets and lay her down and let her get all her feelings out

- so like jay got shot but hes not dead and got send back in time before everything go to shit or all is just a big fever dream (I cant decide which one is better)

- and jay is the only one know about this then he has to do something so history wont repeat itself

- oh theres skully too but they are not jay but a different entity that is there to help jay defeats the operator (think of it like when you played game then died first try the second try you got a helping hand or assist so you wont die again)

- skully lives with jay at his apartment while both of them try to find a way to end this (skully is a good roommate if you get to know them :D)

- everyone that got contacted with operator can see skully (means that everyone except mh crew (+ jessica, amy etc.) cant see skully)

- jay probably ten times more paranoid about everything and everyone now that he knows whats gonna happen

- last time jay and tim ever interact didnt end well (at least for jay) so he has mixed feeling towards tim. and tim knows jay been keeping smth from everyone but doesn't wanna pry it out, yet

- skully at first just there to help defeating the operator but when times go on they help jay mending his relationship with his friends too

- one time when the crew shooting movie near the wood area alex saw jay walked out of forest looked disoriented and frustrated with leaf all over his head. everyone at crew just had to come charged at jay asking him what happened but jay doesnt want to talk about it since he knew it would involved them and risk being killed

- there will be time when he learned that he cant work alone forever (because look where it led him in the past)

- and skull know this too so they try to reach out to everyone else (brian, tim) to help jay which is very hard because brian and tim freaked out at first because "dude theres a masked man stalking us wtf????" (similar to how skully try to reach out to jessica in comic)

- jay cant seem to stay close with alex for a very long time because he will have panic attack (I mean alex did kill him and he probably still shocked) and as much as alex wants to ask jay what happened jay cant think of straight answers

- (theory time) now that I think about a way to defeat operator the only things I can think of is 1. defeat it within the ark 2. burn the forest (too hardcore and didnt solved the root cause) 3. or operator is the result of everyone's undiagnosed mental illness they refuse to acknowledged it and get help (jay and alex is clear examples). Operator is still real but it targets peoples like them. If they got the help them should probably can uh fight it off (this starting to sounds like cthulhu stuff)

some more Acolyte! King stuff , ideas for the arc, scenes, whatever, stuff i came up while walking in the morning:

timeline wise in early S2 King would end up at The Owl House through shenanigans and is kept there for like a week, he hates it, he complains all the time, he doesnt run away because he doesnt trust anyone but Belos to get him (and he wholly believes Belos will be coming soon); very reluctantly theres a semblance to warming up to Luz and Eda, but before anything significant happens, Kikimora shows up to get him back to the castle, he is thrilled to finally being saved, but is really bitter about blowing up his cover as someone who Doesnt or cannot talk over the ocasional growl or bark.

On the way back King notices Kikimora is diverting to another direction on her dragon and asks what is she planning and where are they going, Kikimora reassures him that she doesnt plan anything but that they have to talk. While Kiki is obedient to the emperor´s coven, she was always loyal to the titan and had made an oath to serve King even over the Emperor´s word. She confesses that the Emperor never made a clear effort to search for him all this time until she offered herself to go.

King is obviously confused and trusts that Belos simply must have been making a grander plan that maybe she wasnt aware of, but Kikimora nonetheless tells him that theres something else, that Belos has been acting off for a while and that even with all that she knows (and she does hold information no one else knows, like the Day of Unity´s intent, that King is a titan, that Hunter is a grimwalker, knowing about the Collector) but she knows that its not Everything.

They both end up settling down in a far off forest and Kikimora shows that behind Belos back, she took something from his chambers that she has to give to King, but only if hes willing to take them, for she is risking her life for the titan ´s will.

crazy fucking dream i had

jay & holly are still born to leaf and crow, but crow takes holly to windclan and leaf keeps jay. crow convinces nightcloud to raise holly as her kit and she reluctantly agrees. jays story is pretty much the same lol. holly has a hard time fitting in to windclan cuz of her fur colour & thickness so she has some trouble finishing her apprenticeship. during this time, squilf & jay are attacked by ashfur after the forest gets lit on fire. squilf says jays not her kit and that hes actually leaf and crows kit, but she doesnt tell ash about holly. before the next gathering, jay finds ash at the lake (i think it was the lake? was it a river? whatever) and kills him. then, at the next gathering he announces what holly did canonically, BUT! someone puts the pieces together. breezepelt, who knew that holly might not have been nightclouds real kit, realizes he’s right, and that shes probably leaf and crows kit too!!!! crow confirms this, which only causes more problems. breeze & holly now hate crow for lying, and team up with nightcloud to yell at him lol. holly has a hard time fitting into windclan even MORE now that shes found out shes half thunderclan. jay also has alot of trouble doing his med cat duties, because it means he has to be near leafpool, who he’s rlly uncomfortable with.

everything is the same up until ivy finds out the df’s true plans, and tries to convince holly to stop going to the df. holly refuses, not believing what ivys saying, and wanting to say with breeze. ivy runs away, and tells dove the truth. dove then goes and tells lion & jay. jay goes and tells firestar, who tells the rest of the clans, who then start planning for the df’s attack

everything is the same until the battle, where ivy gets in a confrontation with holly. ivy shows holly whats going on, and she FINALLY realizes whats going on, and joins the side of the clans. she’s also able to convince the majority of the other windclan df trainees to join the clans…. except breezepelt. holly and breeze get into a fight, and holly brutally injures breeze, killing him, and sending him into the dark forest

after the battle is over, the clans have won. holly meets leafpool and jay, and helps crow and leaf become friends again. night breaks up with crow, and moves on, starting a new life with someone else. lion is able to overcome his identity struggles, and becoming a wonderful warrior. blackstar offered him the spot as deputy, but he refused, still not feeling he deserved it after what he did to russetfur

the 3 lose their powers, and ivy and dove repair their relationship, holly, leaf, jay and crow try their best to get along, and dove starts seeing tigerheart. avos happens, dove & tiger leave and come back with kits, dove moves to shadowclan, aaand thats it! this got way too long but. whatever

Hello i have more two wuv headcannons :) this time it's how well the freaks can see (idk why i just thought of this) zubin- Because zube's hair is always covering his eyes he can't rlly see, so he relies on hearing a lot more. he can tell who's walking into/out of a room just by the sound their footsteps make. sometimes he parts his hair over one eye so he can look at ppl, especially meeting them for the first time (like seeing random ppl in the forest). sometimes his hair pokes his eyes so he has to brush it out the way before it inevitably falls back (i had a fringe that was exactly like this it sucked) joe- since half of joe's face is burned and he can't see out of one eye he uses glasses (those tiny oval ones in like, every photo ever) to help his normal eye work better. the normal eye is still a little bit fuzzy due to the burns, but the glasses cover that. rob- he's always crying so even when he isn't his eyes are all cloudy and wet. he wears his glasses but they don't do much due to how much he cries, and how cracked they are. andrew- andy lives in the forest like 99% of the time so he's gotten really used to the dark, to the point where he can see better when it's dark than light (basically semi-nightvision). he's developed a sensitivity to bright light so he wears a pair of stolen sunglasses if he's ever somewhere too bright (like if someone shone [is shone the right word? im in extended english i should know this] a flashlight near him) ross- since we still havent gotten any ross lore >:( (/j) i dont have much to work off of. im just gonna say he can see normally, just a little fuzzy due to injuries bora- also dont have much to work off. he has the best eyesight out of everyone. he pays reaaallly close attention to things. mostly his rats. heromari hades/persephone-inspired au bc i needed to write it out somewhere but cant quite prose it rn

details under the cut. just a warning, it gets. long.

basil (god of flowers n growth, "of the golden throne") n aubrey (goddess of war n courage, "the unyielding") live in the forest.

hero (god of healing and music, "love-giver") and kel (god of travel and camaraderie, "of the people") live in the city, amongst the humans.

mari (goddess of knowledge and judgement, "the all-seer") rarely rests, oft roaming from place to place when not at the entrance of the abyss (essentially the equivalent of afterlife) overseeing souls and their fates

within the abyss dwells the twin gods of creation and destruction - sunny and omori (known as "the beginning" or "the end", depending on context). who is who? both are both, both with the ability to create and destroy.

the story starts w mari gone. poof! disappeared! all the other gods (except sunny n omori bc no one actually knows where they dwell and theyre isolated sad sacks) search for her bc fabric of the universe and balance and literally watching the abyss entrance! what are all the souls gonna do w her gone?

("all the other gods" involves a wider cast that i am not coming up with rn.) also. gods living in the same area would know each other better. kel knows almost everyone hence hero knows almost everyone. most (mortal n immortal alike) are mildly wary/scared of mari.

anyway. everyones searching for mari. the abyss is deep and dark and has areas where it sorta... leaks through to the rest of the world (like black space n headspace). hero stumbles upon one of the entrances and falls.

now a very important distinction is that sunny, mari n omori have wings bc u need wings to fly above the dark waters of the abyss w/o being consumed/tainted by it. kel has little winged shoes (like hermes) but otherwise no one else (of the main cast at least) can fly.

so hero falls. at least, until something - someone - dark swoops in and carries him to safety.

"you should be more careful!" a bit of light laughter and a boop on the nose. "the abyss isnt forgiving!"

his savior returns back to the abyss before hero can say anything in return - not a word of thanks, an ask for the others name or anything.

three guesses who this savior is and the first 2 dont count (its a heromari-probably-fic. no duh its mari)

anyway. hero goes back to some god meeting and reports that he found nothing and apparently fell into the abyss. someone mentions that no one has searched the abyss yet and that mari could be there.

no one wants to go to the abyss. for good reason!

so!

guess who gets sent on the abyss-searching mission! kel bc wings, hero bc he fell there, aubrey just in case theres something bad, and basil bc... aubrey said she would fall n demanded someone who could make something to walk on whom she also trusted.

and so the team sets off to the abyss! they enter through the main entrance and its dark and damp and they did not bring a light sourc- nevermind aubrey literally glows with rage and kel literally glows with happiness too

hero gets lost again, first within the upper cavern system. then he falls out of the cave system.

mari catches him again and makes the "are you falling for me" joke

they chat a bit and then mari walks him back to where everyone is freaking out looking for him and then she disappears.

hero tells them about how theres a potential new goddess of the abyss that saved him. no one is impressed bc the abyss is literally the opposite of like. everything the gods stand for. aubrey decides he just doesnt want to admit he got lost. kel thinks he's screwing w them bc what older sibling doesnt screw with their younger sibling?

hero sulks for a bit n they continue searching for mari

then! they find this little... floating.... castle?? but by floating, they mean like. upside down.

"Well!" Kel says. "This is what we brought Basil for!"

"Yeah, flower boy," Aubrey smirks, shooing a protesting Basil towards the edge of the cliff. "Do your thing."

guess what. hero slips and falls.

cue screaming.

mari swoops in and catches him, whispers in his ear "we have got to stop meeting like this"

they do not stop screaming, seeing mari as a threat.

now, hero still does not know that the stranger saving him is mari because hes kinda. smitten. lovestruck. whatever. also bc mari looks different than she used to. perks of being reborn from the waters of the abyssal river ig

aubrey demands to know if mari has been following them. mari says something to the extent of "not intentionally! its hard to not know when you see everything in the realm"

(emphasis on "in the realm" because the abyss is distinctly a different realm from like. the rest of the world. hence mari doesnt know how long shes been gone/the search efforts to find her)

a moment of silence. mari awkwardly goes "uhhh did you think the all-seer was just a nickname? its not. not really."

see all this couldve been solved if hero wasnt a pan disaster and asked mari for her name the first time he fell into the abyss. aubrey points that out, unamused.

basil asks mari if she lives in the castle.

she says its complicated! and that maybe its easier to just show them.

kel tells her that every god's been searching for her and she should come back.

she says its also complicated! all the more they should head to the castle!

to the castle! inside of it is first, a carpet of red hands. next, a throne of red hands. everyone is understandably creeped out, w the exception of mari, who rolls her eyes and scoffs at the dramatics

she knocks on the throne of red hands.

sunny/omori answers the door (?)

anyway it boils down to: the abyss is no place for a god. it sucks out the energy and consumes it, until the god is nothing but a husk. that was exactly what happened to mari, w how often she visited sunny n omori, and how close she stayed to the abyss.

(omori gestures at a skeleton next to them. it bears a disturbing resemblance to mari)

so! twin gods of creation and all, sunny n omori remade mari with the remnants of her spirit/soul/whatever and the waters of the abyss so that she would be able to like. survive there.

anyway. reborn from the waters of the abyssal river, mari looked a little more like a biblically accurate seraphim than what she used to look like. (six wings and six eyes on each wing. plus one eye in her hair. yes thats a thing)

so, sunny n omori check up on mari and they're like. okay! you are probably not in danger of your form collapsing into nothingness anymore. you can go. probably. you need to eat something from the overrealm to be able to remain there tho bc ur more abyss than overrealm.

mari takes thaat in stride. everyone else is horrified.

see. i cannot write romance. this is an issue bc presumably after this, they all go back up to the overrealm - hero gives her a cookie, mari promptly tries to outbake him - and then explain stuff to the other gods.

hero n mari are in love. it is very mutual. they get together. this is vague bc, once again, i cannot write romance

mari asks how hero feels ab marriage. hero likes the idea but also mari is mostly abyss. mari has a solution. the solution is to drink abyss water. hero is a fool in love and accepts.

they live happily ever after. the end.

i thought about your cooking post for the feanorians earlier and i like celegorm who can survive if you put him in front of a fire with a bunch of meat, but may i present:

turcafinwe tyelkormo feanorian who has never used a measuring spoon in his life but consistently pulls off the best dishes you've ever tasted in your goddamn life. he has to be in a special headspace though - it's not an everyday thing. occasionally he gets struck by a stroke of genius and hides away in the kitchen all day. the family has learned not to enter lest they want a knife sticking out of the wall next to their head. everyone eats what they can scavenge from the pantry if they get hungry, but they try to save room. nerdanel's sending invitations to all relatives and they drop EVERYTHING. and at 9pm, a half-dead tyelko staggers out from the kitchen, wheeling out a cart with a 7 course meal for fifty. there are no leftovers.

I see your vision. I bet parts of hunting with orome were ultimately plant lore (aka what you can eat, what will kill you by the time you take the second bite, what tastes good now but hurts when its existing etc). So Celegorm has like the best knowledge of herbs and spices in his family. You can show him a red powder without label and he's like "that's a pepper from the northwestern parts of this forest".

Freaks everyone out when he's throwing knives. I wanna say he doesnt do it consciously, he just gets irritated quickly when someone bothers him in that headspace and throws the first thing at hand which always happens to be sth with a blade lol
