Deuce wasn't exactly introverted like you. In fact, he had never been able to put “names” to his own personality. He is open to talk when he should be but shy in other situations. In a way, he understands your feelings a little, like when you can't engage in a conversation and keeps quiet, probably wondering if you said something wrong;

Despite this, as you have always been kind to him and care about what he says, Deuce inevitably ended up falling in love with you. But how would he make you notice him? Show that he was a potential boyfriend as much as an honors student? Deuce spent days trying to think of what to do;

Since this doesn't always prove to work for him, Deuce decides to first do things naturally. He combines this with some advice from Trey, the most introspective kind of person he knows and wouldn't be shy about asking anything. Well, Trey isn't exactly shy but he knows what would help Deuce and you in this case; 

Among other things, Deuce always agrees with what you say to show support and confidence in your speech during conversations. In any doubt he has about a subject, you are the first person he asks;

You end up doing a lot of study sessions at the Ramshackle, which is a little less noisy than Heartslabyul — a place where everyone is relatively social and eccentric, in their own way. Deuce is very fond of accompanying you to your dorm and one of the reasons is because the antique furniture reminds him of his grandmother's house;

Deuce may not be a great comedian, but he likes your smile and knows how to make you laugh when you most need to. It helps a lot in your mood, especially when you're feeling down. Deuce is the first to notice this. He once blurted out that when you don't smile, the world loses its color and that's why he captures it so quickly;

Needless to say, those words generated a long moment of silence between you, Deuce trying to hide his beet red blush face with his hands while babbling gibberish and you looking away, your heart suddenly pounding. You could only think of the natural and subtle way Deuce said that, literally without thinking;

Deuce will always defend you if someone makes fun of you because of your lack of sociability or takes advantage of your shyness to do something. It doesn't make him very proud but, he knows exactly what bullies do to more shy people so a siren always sound on his head when someone makes a weird approach on you;

If you're not feeling well enough to shop, Deuce offers to do it for you and deliver to the Ramshackle. Of course, you know he won't be able to do it all the time but, his care is very touching. Even if he makes multiple calls to make sure he's picking the right things off the list, you know his intentions are good;

Talking more with you, Deuce began to understand more a world of which he never had much contact. He must have been a shy kid at first, until his life started to “shuffle” from pre-adolescence and continue on that path until he won the game. But next to you, he doesn't worry too much about these things and manages to be himself;

At the end of the day, Deuce didn't have to do more than the impossible for you to think of him differently. It may not be entirely but, Deuce understands your difficulties and wants to help you in whatever you need, in addition to showing how much he cares about you. He is very cool without even realizing it. You sigh, but it's a joyful sigh. You are in love after all.

It didn’t need to be very smart to realize that you and Sebek were two really contrasting people. You were extremely shy, talking to other people was a real challenge. Meanwhile, Sebek was imposing and audible — literally — with a strong presence that set him apart from everyone else. But despite these differences, he eventually fell in love with you;

That's because you two are more alike than you think, and you had earned Sebek’s trust by quickly commenting on how Malleus had a fantastic aura — the reason you couldn't talk to him very well, just as strictly necessary. But this recognition about his Young Master made Sebek think about how you were an excellent observer;

Soon after, Sebek was completely fascinated by your stillness and your quiet manner. Your kindness in always being willing to listen to him and take him seriously. Sebek always invited you to watch his workouts and even though it wasn’t a very interesting activity for you, it was kinda cool to watch Sebek in a sword duel with Silver;

Lilia had to pull Sebek's ear for wooing you so “badly” in the beginning. Yes, he needed to train but it wasn’t you being a special spectator in those sessions that would win your heart. He needed to do something more sensitive that could involve both of you. Sebek had no idea what to do — at least, he never had that kind of concern in the Valley of Thorns;

Following his tutor’s instructions who only had experience through several romantic and obviously unreliable books, Sebek sought to try to be kinder to you and understand your difficulties as a shy person. Which he doesn't quite understand because quieter people like you would be very welcomed in the Court of Thorns;

But in any case, Sebek would like to show you respect. You are his beloved one after all, even though he took quite a while to accept. But, therefore, you must be treated well and even if people cannot hear your voice, Sebek will repeat your words and make sure that you are definitely heard;

Sebek sometimes shouts your name in the middle of a conversation and turns to you, smiling excitedly, “Do you have any comments to make on this topic?”. You take your time to advise Sebek how not to try to please you, which he devoutly writes down in a special notebook. Despite Sebek's strange manner, it is visible that he has good intentions and his care captures your heart;

Even though he’s just as socially awkward as you, in his own way, Sebek is much more effective in other activities. He helps you during physical education with some tips and offers to carry you in case you’re tired. If you have a question and are afraid to ask someone, you can pick him up without fear!;

Sebek will always praise you, even in the small things, loud and clear because in his opinion, the world needs to recognize your greatness — and the Young Master’s too, of course, but... maybe yours should be more? The first years ended up calling you the “New Waka-sama” because of this, in which Sebek defended your honor by praising you even more;

Talking to you more and getting to know you better, Sebek remembers other humans he met who were very similar to you. Mr. Zigvolt is, much to his own surprise, the first one that comes to mind. When you smile, grateful for his help with something, Sebek wonders if his father would be happy with something like that too. To make you soften his heart built of principles hard as a rock, you are really an amazing human!;

But it's a side of Sebek that you're happy to get to know and join with your growing admiration for his potent way of putting himself in front of people. Watching Sebek yell at people for bothering you for being a recluse or talking in a lower tone might not really solve anything but, it's pretty funny. The way he is willing to stand by you makes your heart race and you want to become stronger to do the same for him, even if it’s in your silent ways.

Within all proportions, Jack understood very well your personality type and the difficulties you feel most of the time when trying to talk to other people and not get too used to the lively social environment in which you find yourself in. Well, Jack wasn't called a “lone wolf” all the time for nothing;

First of all, the fact that you two met was the fruit of a mere chance — and a lion full of issues. Because, in general, you two are the type of introverts who wouldn’t be able to interact under normal conditions. Jack never approaches people unnecessarily and you would perhaps be intimidated by his tough aura, which would make conversation more difficult;

But you met, became friends, and now Jack realized how madly in love he is with you. He doesn’t know when or how, only that your company does him great good and if it were necessary, he would give his life for you. Jack sometimes doesn’t believe that he is already thinking about these things so soon;

You will notice that, whenever he has the opportunity, Jack will be by your side to help you in whatever it takes. Jack tries to control himself on his answers when you ask about his kindness — or you don't even question anything, he's just used to excusing his actions — because he doesn't want to seem overly rude and push you away. It's a hard habit to control;

While respecting your personal space because that’s something Jack also likes, he will always end up following you or walking next to you in one way or another before he realizes what he is doing. Sometimes you call him to stand beside you to walk together. Jack is a good company and his stature gets people right out of the way without you having to put in a lot of effort to ask them to;

Jack always stays by your side when you get together in a group with others. If he makes any comments, it is usually in your direction and he pays close attention to your reply. He doesn't try to make you a highlight of the conversation but, if you happen to let something slip — quietly or loudly — he'll know and in his quiet way, show that he cares;

It could be said that Jack’s most reserved behavior came from his mother and some of it ended up passing to his younger brother as well. Because of this, he knows how to act normally with you and do things that you would probably enjoy — at least, if it were the other way around, Jack would enjoy it too;

When you don’t feel well enough to go out or do something, you end up staying by the Ramshackle and Jack is the first to support your decision, saying that a “time for yourself” is always good and healthy. His understanding is always welcomed by you. But if you happen to be tired of being alone and want someone calm to talk to, he will come in a minute;

Spending time with Jack is precisely the moment of tranquility you need. You can spend a whole hour in silence and it will still be worth it. In general, you read together or study. To your surprise, Jack gets very close to you. “A lot” in the sense of being more by your side than you would expect coming from him;

But not too close to the point of suffocating you. There is a comfortable closeness and a feeling of security that takes your heart every time you watch him read or do something. Sometimes you notice Jack try to look at you as subtly as he can and then look away, disguising it;

You couldn't help it — in fact, you didn't even want to try not to — to fall in love with Jack back. His way of doing things always puts you at ease and you feel safe to be yourself around him, even if you don't have much confidence in your conversational skills. Still, in conversation or in silence, you would always choose Jack to keep you company.

It will be after hours in the Oscorp building when you're preparing to either head home, or continue working, and you've spent all day on edge because you know Harry could drag you away and get his revenge at any. moment. so you feel this false sense of relief at the end of the day

That is until... you hear Harry's voice right behind you and your heart leaps up to your throat and a squeak leaves your lips

"You have thirty seconds to run, Y/N. Time starts now~ Tick tock~"

You're doomed after that. Good luck. Harry's gonna tickle you to tears and smile adorably the entire time

Harry's scarf is 100 percent an attempt to evade any neck tickles (like Peter, the neck, more specifically the back of his neck, is a DEATH SPOT) and it doesn't. work. at. all.

Peter has tickled Harry awake multiple times. Sometimes you too, but most of the time, Harry's sudden laughter is enough to wake you up

You, Peter, Harry, and Gwen have movie nights a LOT. And there's always this game of "whoever reacts the most to a tickle scene popping up gets wrecked with tickles." Gwen's the champion. Harry has 100% lost (but then again, is it really losing?) the most amount of times

Gwen is so entertained by how flustered the three of you get when a scene comes on. She's the average level of ticklish but she is a ler through and through. And she is so not phased by everything that flustered you three

She's gonna throw you three under the bus against each other and it's hilarious.

"Peter, you’re running your hands through your hair. Did something catch you off guard?"

"Wh-What!? N-No... I uh... Nope. Not at all."

If YOU happen to throw Harry under the bus, after he's recovered from the three of you ganging up on him, you'll end up being chased up from your spot. Then the movie's just continuing on and Peter and Gwen are watching it while Harry's tickling you behind the couch

Gwen just turns the volume up on the tv so she and Peter can hear the movie better and Peter's just snickering at Harry destroying you

"Pay attention to the movie, Peter!"

Harry is the type of ler drag his fingers in close proximity to your worst spot, and then when you think he’s gonna do it, he just moves away again. He repeats that until you’ve let your guard down, and only THEN does he actually do it, and then you're screeching with laughter

He uses surprise to his advantage ALL THE TIME- Harry will make you brace for tickles at a certain spot and then catch you completely off guard with a raspberry in an entirely different spot. Evil

When he's chasing you, he'll either be RIGHT behind you, or he'll casually stroll toward you. I'm talking, as you're scurrying down the steps, Harry's casually sliding down the railing because he KNOWS you're not getting away (omfg AHSJSHSJDJF)

when you first started working with him, he was very friendly and would teach you anything you needed to know

like where the guns are, etc

but from time to time he would be unintentionally flirty

everytime you hugged or shaked hands after a succesful mission, his touch would always linger

you both layed down on the ground and took deep breaths, that alien was terrifying. "you know, you looked good whole fighting that thing earlier."

"what?"

"nothing."

this kept on going until you (sorta) catched on to what he was doing

"clay, do you like me?" you said out of the blue. "what? no- our relationship is strictly professional and platonic."

yeah you didn't believe him

and he didn't himself

but then again, he said it himself,

okay maybe a little bit

he finally confessed when he thought it the was the end for both of you

the alien threw you against the wall, roaring loudly. it ringed through your ears, causing you to yelp. the alien grabbes clay with its other hand and raised him above its mouth.

"y/n since this is the end," clay yelled, "i want you to know that i like you! a lot!"

you looked at him shocked, you opened your mouth to say something but the creature's scream of pain cut you off. your other colleagues had come to save the both of you.

you both watched as they brought the alien back to where it came from.

"so, you like me?"

"uh, yeah. i really, really do."

"good, cause i feel the same." you smile and kiss clay's cheek.

George

he would act very prim and proper

and he'd want you to act the same

he would do little things like fixing your tie, fixing your hair, etc

but on missions he would be very rowdy and make bad decisions from time to time but still calm

"y/n, let's drink with them!"

"but what if the-"

"i heard a yes, let's go."

but then the bad guys showed up

"i told you they'd come!" you said with a slightly panicky voice.

"don't worry, the alien is safe and we just need to get out of here. let me think of a plan."

and boom with george's calmness and smartness you survived😎

but you both got a warning cause you drank on the job-

anyways,

he started acting strange after a few months of working with you

for example, everytime you passed him a weapon his hand would rouch yours

and he would just blush and continue what he was doing

you wouldn't really notice tho since he was subtle with it

george finally confessed after a mission

"get yourselves cleaned up at the headquarters."

"yes ma'am." you both said synchronously. once you were both back at the headquarters, george tapped your shoulder. "uh- so i really like you, can we go on a date?"

you just looked at him, not saying a word. george started to feel more nervous, thinking he did something wrong. "it's fine if you don't want to, i understa-"

"no no no no george, i wanna go on a date with you." george just smiles and grabs your hand, caressing it.

Sapnap

as soon as you became partners, you both got really close a your personalities just matched

anyways, every mission crazy and very chaotic

sapnap cracks jokes all the time

"oh my god, is this alien pussy??"

"sapnap... I THINK SO!!"

its so fun working with him

at the start of your relationship, he made flirty comments here and there

but the longer you both knew eachother, he made flirty comments all the time, like dream

"sooooooo has anyone told you how hot you were earlier?"

Karl

people called you and karl childish and immature during work

but in reality he just made lots of jokes and you both laughed easily💀💀

missions with karl are very fun

fun but at the same time serious

like he thinks very quickly

so if your ever in danger, karl will be there to help

but after you both make jokes directed at each other

"you were the one that dropped the bomb"

"you would've died if i didn't save you🙄"

but its all light hearted and you care for each other

anyways he started to act more serious and calm around you

sometimes nervous

like after every mission you hug

and everytime you both do it you could just feel karl's heart beating so fast

"karl are you alright? you're heart is beating really fast"

"oh uh- yeah. just shocked from the mission and all"

he would also ask you if you're hurt/okay way more

"oh god y/n, are you alright?"

"yeah it's just a scratch"

"okay, if you're hurt just tell me"

he confessed while you were both undercover during a mission

you both sat in the cafe, eyeing the alien that disguised itself as a human. "psst, y/n."

"what is it?" you say, not taking your eyes off the creature. "i like you." karl says quietly. as if he was a kid whispering a secret. for the first time, you take your eyes off the alien.

you look at him, mouth agape. you smirk and chuckle, "so do i." karl smiles and starts giggling, you reciprocate this. "now let's go back to- WAIT WHERE ARE THEY?"

Quackity

chaotic but at the same time quiet duo

during missions its crazy and some times gets out of hand

but at the headquarters/office, you're both very proper and organized

soon he started to act very nervous at random occasions

like you were both just talking about a recent mission you both just done

and you complimented him on defeating the alien

"that was so cool alex!!"

and he just stands there like 🧍‍♂️ "thank you y/n"

and it's not like your first time complimenting him

he just started acting like this out of nowhere

he confessed while you were doing a mission

you were in the passenger's seat, holding onto dear life. "alex, slow down!" he just glances at you in disbelief. "slow down? we're gonna die if i do slow down!"

after a few turns, you reached a long road with a fiver at the end. alex looked aroud to find another road for you to go on to avoid drowning. unfortunately, there was none.

the buttons that cotrolled the car currently weren't working. so you kept on pushing them. "y/n, before we die, i wanna say something!"

"we're not gonna di- oh nevermind, what is it?" you yelled. "i like you!"

all you could do was to push the buttons more aggresively, hoping to get out alive. to your surprise, the car started to float of the ground.

once you had both reached the sky, you both started clapping and cheering. "lets go!"

"we did it y/n holy shit"

"so... you like me?"

"what? no, i didn't say that. what do you me-"

"its fine alex. i like you too"

Technoblade

he would be quiet and professional

also a little intimidating

like on your first mission he did almost all the work

and in a way you were kinda his assistant

at first you thought this was how missions worked

1 leader and 1 follower/assistant

but then you talked to your colleagues about your missions with him and they told you it was meant to be 2 partners, not leader and assistant

so you confronted techno about this

which left him a little surprised

cause he was the one supposed to confront people, not the other way around

this made him intrigued about you

so techno spent more time with you to learn more about you

which caused the both of you to get closer

when people saw this, they were really confused

cause he was so soft, caring, and nice around but around them he was cold and intimidating

but then techno started to act very flustered and nervous around you

he tried to hide it, but failed

like you would just be talking to him and he would just randomly act flustered

"okay so since he's in [street name], we should turn left to catch up." you said while holding onto the steering wheel. "uh huh..." techno just looked at you, not saying a word.

"techno? are you listening?"

"oh- uhm. yeah, sorry." he said as he opened the sunroof and got out his gun.

this kept happening so you decided to confront him about it

"techno, are you alright? everytime we're in a mission or just talking you seem really out of it"

which isnt true?? his whole brand was like staying up and still having enough energy for a mission

so you were suspicious but didnt think much of it

he confessed while you were at a diner talking about an upcoming mission

you drank some water and cleared your throat. "do you think we need a disguise?"

"need to?" you waited for his answer. "i like you." he blurted out, looking down at the ground tp avoideye contact. all you could was smile, "i like you too techno, a lot."

technoblade looked back up to you slowly with a small smile but with a shocked expression. you cup his cheek from across the table and caress it, smiling.

Wilbur

he would be a combination of george and dream

prim, proper, and friendly

missions with him would be fun but still professional

he'd crack jokes all the time but at the same time he can finish the mission

idk why but for some reason he loves timing himself during missions

"aye y/n, we got 3 days and 7 hours! not as good as last time but still alright"

"wilbur why do you even keep track-"

all of a sudden, he started to be more messy during missions out of nowhere

like instead of having everything in control, everything would be out of place

one time you both almost let the alien escape

"wil are you alright? you've been a little off lately." he rubbed the back of his neck, "yeah, i'm fine, completely fine."

you were worried so from time to time you would ask him if he was alright

and he would always answer with the same thing

"i'm fine, y/n. don't worry about me"

"wil we could've died! we and many people could've died." wilbur paced around the room, rubbing his neck and running his hand through his hair from time to time.

"i know, i know."

"if you know then why did you do that?" you said, raising your voice. "because-"

he cupped your face with both of his hands as his eyes began to moist as well. "i-i like you too wilbur." was all you managed to choke out. "but please be more careful. you promise?" wilbur placed his forehead on yours, "i promise."

"Hey."

"Get lost, variant" you muttered under your breath, not even biding one look to the man that was bothering you this whole week already.

Loki was leaning onto your desk, head resting in his hands as he admired you simply filling out some files. "But need your help with something."

Does he really think he looks even remotely cute with that stupid, cheeky grin on his face? Well...maybe he does.

Still, it doesn't matter to you. The only thing you were meant to care about is the work assigned to you by the time lords.

"And what would that be?" you suspectingly rose an eyebrow on L1130, who was still giving it his all to look as innocent as humanly possible.

The God of Mischief was now circling your desk and you couldn't help but wonder where he was taking all that energy from. Much to your displeasure, his excited way of acting towards you made you snicker just a little - and he'd never miss such an important detail.

His eyes were shining in great anticipation, and admittingly you caught yourself to stare into them a little too long once or twice.

"Well, actually" he began, and you immediately knew this was gonna become one of his long speeches again. Ugh...

"Actually, you need my help!" he exclaimed, pointing to you with his index finger and making you groan in frustration. "Yeah, and since I'm a generous god, I'll assist you as way of exception."

"Damn it Loki, what the hell do you want?" you gnarled, only to be rewarded with said man now grinning from ear to ear. "This is the first time you've called me by my first name! May I take this as hint for a certain sentiment towards me?"

"You may take this as a sign that you are making no sense and are driving me crazy." Rubbing your temples, you shoved him aside and went to the cafeteria.

"I mean it!" the Laufeyson shoutet as he followed you closely, just like a little puppy. Not that you've ever seen that animal in reality, but there was one on a motivational poster right in front of your desk.

"The TVA needs me to capture the other Loki variant, right?" Obviously. So you didn't bother answering. "Which means they grant me some freedom, to a certain extend."

"Otherwise you wouldn't roam around here, bothering working people" you snapped, poking his forehead, thus stopping his motion. "Didn't Mobius give you something to do? Anything?"

"Well, yeah..." he rubbed the back of his head, stammering "But I thought...I could combine labour with pleasure."

You had no nerve to listen to any of his empty words. That man reeks of lies, that much you knew.

And you knew him better than he himself, as far as you were concerned. They all were the same - always have been, always will be.

"Don't you want to ask me what I had in mind?" Oh man, he's still there. Can't that man take a subtle hint?

Right now he was sitting in front of you, while you were struggling to not let him interrupt your meal - time works differently in the TVA, but breaks feel just as short as on the actual timeline.

"No."

"Great!" Loki cheered as if you didn't just turn him down. "So, I thought you're probably bored in here, right? Every day the same, for all eternity. Such a dull desk-job wouldn't suit someone of your calibre."

His silver tongue was well known around here, so you couldn't wrap your head around why he'd try to lull you with such cheesy compliments.

And why you, of all people? The persons doing the paperwork around here instead of risking their lives on the battlefield were actually considered the lowest of the lowest. There was no way he could gain from your status, or knowledge at that.

"So what? You're gonna take me to a field trip or something?" The imagination alone was enough for you to laugh so hard, you almost choked on a piece of lettuche.

"Exactly." At first you were sure he was mocking you, trying to pass time by joking around - but the look he was giving you right now seemed determined. "Whatever I want to catch the variant, they will provide. And I want you."

Suddenly, the situation began to scare you. "Why me, of all people?"

Loki placed his hands onto yours, expression gleeful but also somewhat gentle. "My dear, isn't it obvious? Because I-"

Before he could finish the sentence, the man that was just inches apart from you had now disappeared.

"So it was a trick after all" you thought, the small ember of whatever emotion he made you feel fainting as quickly as it appeared.

It was best for everyone involved if you didn't get any closer to a Loki...again.

"And that's enough strolling around for today" Mobius spoke calmly, putting the remote aside. Those necklaces were sure a blessing for his work in containing the God of Mischief himself.

"Hey!" Loki yelled, slamming his fist onto the table. "I was just onto something!"

"Rather trying to get onto someone, right?" Right now, Mobius was trying way too hard to not laugh at his own pun, needing to clear his throat before he continued. "You're here to investigate, not for fooling around with one of my best coworkers."

"It's not like that, you imbecile! I was trying to-"

"Don't bother explaining yourself, Loki." Oh, how the god hated to be interrupted. All kinds of fantasies about what he'd do to this place once he got into control again were flooding his mind the more he spoke.

"Don't take it personally" the Analyst reassuringly put a hand on Loki's shoulder, almost seeming as if he'd pity him. "But you're by far not the first Loki trying to have his ways with Y/N."

The god tilt his head ever so slightly, how he'd always do when something confused or upset him. "Wait- seriously?"

Flipping yet another switch on some retro machine, the images of several Loki variants flooded a holographic screen. Some were only slightly different from the 'sacred timeline's' Loki, others made the Laufeyson wonder what breach they caused to look that way.

"Those are all variants of yourself which we successfully contained and, well...you know" he shrugged. "And all of them tried to get close to Y/N, even in the face of neutralization. The TVA might know all about the timeline, from beginning to end - but some things not even we can explain."

"My naive brethren on Asgard would call this fate."

"Oh come on, Loki. You of all people, believing in such a thing?" Mobius sunk down on a chair, sipping on a soda. "There is no such thing as fate, destiny or free will. We are all slaves to the sacred timeline, and in that one, you were never supposed to meet Y/N. No one in the proper flow of time should ever interact with members of the TVA."

Slowly and hesistantly, Loki sat down as well, still staring at the variants - so many opportunities to turn his life for the better, all gone.

"Is-" at first, he stopped himself. A god like him, taking advice from the people who humiliated him beyond reason? Never!

But curiosity kills the cat. "Say, is it allowed for TVA members to have relationships?

"As far as I know, it is not forbidden" he explained, acting as if all of that didn't concern him. "But we are certainly not meant for that kind of purpose. Existing separately from the timeline, but are still connected with it. The freedom of our actions is limited, yet we have emotions and can build up connections to each other. Why do you think that is?"

"Beats me." Loki crossed his arms, seeming deeply buried in thought.

"Because the bonds to other lifeforms are what gives us strenght, Loki. It lets us connect with the people existing on the timeline, even though we're never allowed to live a 'normal' life of our own."

"You've got it all wrong." As always, Loki was touched, but would never dare to admit this - because it would mean letting one near his core. Maybe they'd use you against him, if he allowed himself to have such a 'weak spot' for someone.

So he did what he could best: Acting all high and mighty, to cover up for his insecurities. "I was just using her to get information. So don't you dare preaching to me about love and trust. I don't need anyone but myself."

He rolled his eyes in disinterest, preparing to leave again, when Mobius' last words made him stop in his track for a second.

"The thing is: After so many times of meeting 'you'...at some point, Y/N began to take a liking to you. Don't disappoint them again."

"Again?!" Loki thought to himself, not knowing if he should be mad at Mobius or himself. "That wasn't even me, damn it!"

But it sure fit his profile, he had to confess. Was he doomed to stay like this forever? Life is about growth,his brother once said...

And yet...if the Loki Laufeyson of the sacred timeline was destined to bring death and destruction only, wasn't he - the 'variant', the 'error' -not able to avoid that cruel fate?

"Still busy scheming against the TVA?" a familiar voice brought him back to the present. It was you.

"A lowy bureaucrat like you would never understand the ways of a god!" Ouch, that sounded way less mean in his head.

And the way you pouted at this insult only made him feel worse about himself. "My apologies...it has been a hard...timeline."

"I know that, Loki" you spoke with a tone so genuinely kind, that he actually believed you to understand his pain. "On the inside, you're actually a big softie...at least I hope so, L1130."

Trying to regain his cool, he fondled with his jacket before scoffing "Do you mean those other variants of me? They are inferior, compared to me, my dear. I can show you things far beyond your imagination, if you'd let me."

"Well, let's find that out, shall we" you smiled at him, meant as half an invatation and half a challenge. "Meet me in the library after my work is done, then I'll teach you blockhead all you need to know to get along here."

With a swift movement, the god placed the ghost of a kiss onto the back of your hand. "What kind of man would I be to decline such an invitation?"

"Don't get too full of yourself" you advised him, "You're still a criminal against time, one of thousand versions of a Loki that should never exist in the first place. Why should I trust you of all people?"

"Because what drives me is different from those, petal." The way your eyes widened at the nickname was enough for him to become more engaged. What else had he to lose, anyway? "I have freed myself from selfish desires, and am willing to prove myself worthy."

"So, what is it that drives you then?"

"Meeting you again."

In japan a girl gives all the people they know chocolate on valentine's day. Theres a catch tho. Only crushes partners and spouses get handmade chocolate

So yeah ace attorney characters when you handmake their valentine's gift:

Phoenix: drops what he was holding no matter what it is: coffee cup, paperwork, his wallet, his lunch. The only thing he wouldn't drop in that situation is his daughter. Hes far from the lovesick fool he use to be with dahlia but he is annoyingly cheerful and apollo athena and maya have noticed

Miles: had done research prior about y/ns culture as he hadn't lived in japan for a long time/at all/whatever capcom's decided now. Was sweating on if he should give y/n something back and also expecting store bought. When he sees the chocolate hand made he calmly smiles gets up and hugs them. Shocking everyone around him in the process.

Franziska: will take anything you gift her today as a subtle flirtation. Has done a little research on japan and valentine's day though so when she sees the handmade candy she is really happy tho just like her she doesn't let it show. At least until she reaches under the table and pulls out handmade chocolate of her own.

Diego: do yourself a favor and store buy. Tell him you like him but you understand that he only accepts food in closed packages. That you respect his boundaries. Trust me he will appreciate it. Confesses then and there

Dahlia: she wont exactly eat it store bought or handmade cause of poison and calories. Also will not reciprocate. Does take a picture for her Instagram.

Iris: I honestly think it's against her eating restrictions. Get her a plushy instead tho she will almost certainly give it to a needy child. She will still think your sweet tho

Klavier: didnt research. Was irritated when y/n gifted candy to everyone. Did notice his gift was different then everyone elses. Asks either franziska or miles about it in german. While y/n is still in the room. After he understands right when y/ns about to leave he tackle hugs them. It takes a hour to convince him to let go.

Mia: pretty lady is shocked. Has NEVER gotten a gift on valentine's from a girl before. Feels guilty cause babe doesnt have a present to give back. Reassure her please. Relieved that y/ns into girls. Takes y/n to dinner to reciprocate. Almost doesnt want to eat it cause it's a symbol of love.

Gumshoe: thrilled, completely and absolutely thrilled. Runs around showing people like phoenix shows people his badge.

Damon: Wasn’t expecting anything but is pleasantly surprised by your gift, especially since it’s homemade. He’s not too happy that everyone else got a gift from you as well, but he puts up with it; it is your culture after all. He probably wouldn’t know about White Day, though, so he’ll just reciprocate your gift that day. Surprisingly, he’s actually pretty good at making sweets.

Shelly: Very, very happy that you got him something, even though chocolate isn’t really his thing. He’s also not the best at making it either, so expect to be treated to a nice dinner that day as a way to make up for it. He’ll also give you something on White Day, too. Though the chocolate you receive is store bought, it’s very high quality, as he wants you to have nothing but the best.

Matt: Hesitant to eat it unless it’s store bought and even then, he won’t be eating much. He’s an actor, after all and he wants to stay in good shape. He will reciprocate, though, but he’s too impatient to wait until White Day. Expect to get chocolates, flowers, a teddy bear, etc. that evening. He goes overboard with his gifting, mostly because he wants you to feel like you have to stay with him since he’s done so much for you.

Kristoph: Actually was expecting to get something from you but is surprised that it’s homemade. He’ll graciously accept it, though, despite the fact that he’s not really a fan of sugar. Being who he is, he’ll likely try to one-up your gift when White Day comes around. However, since he’s not good at making sweets, he likely orders chocolate from Germany and gives you that.

Wocky: Listen, listen, listen - this boy will cry and hug you like there’s no tomorrow. He’s never gotten something for Valentine’s Day before, so he’s both surprised and emotional when you hand him his gift. He’ll excitedly tell his parents about it afterwards, and they’ll help him find a good recipe for sweets that he can make you.

Ray: A hopeless romantic through and through, so of course he’d planned to surprise you with something on Valentine’s Day, like a nice date or a thoughtful gift. The one who ended up being surprised was him, though, since he was not at all expecting to get homemade chocolate from you. He’s very happy and even a little emotional, tearing up a bit at your small symbol of love. He doesn’t wait until White Day to reciprocate, though, as he wants to show you his love for you every single day.

Sebastian: Has never gotten something for Valentine’s day before, so he’s very emotional when you give him chocolate, regardless of whether it’s homemade or store bought. He probably got something for you as well, but he feels it pales in comparison to your gift. He’ll try to make up for it on White Day, though, and do his best to make you something that’s at least edible.

Simon K: Immediately gets jealous when he sees you giving candy to others, despite the fact that he doesn’t like sweets himself. But when you give homemade chocolate to him (and explain the meaning behind it) he’ll feel conflicted. He’s never felt loved before, so your gift has caused a lot of emotional conflict within him. Still, he’ll make sure to give you something back on White Day, even though he’s not the best at making sweets.

Katherine: Going to give you homemade chocolate of her own since she kinda does that already. Even if your sweets aren’t the best, she’ll gladly eat them and even offer you advice if you want it. When it comes to her gift, she goes all out, pouring her heart and soul into each and every piece of chocolate she makes for you. She’s also very careful not to let them become misshapen like her usual chocolates are.

Bobby: So happy that he’ll nearly burst into tears (who am I kidding? He will burst into tears). He promises to return your gift on White Day (after Blackquill, who was very annoyed, explains it to him) but he ends up giving it to you a week earlier due to his impatience. Also, the entire precinct will hear about your gift because he refuses to shut up about what an amazing partner you are.

Simon B: Becomes very red but tries to play it off like it’s nothing. In reality, he’s just surprised by your gift, especially since it’s homemade. He’s very grateful though, and it helps to ease his worries about the relationship. When White Day rolls around, he’ll give you homemade sweets in return. They’re not exactly pretty and are quite misshapen, but it’s clear that he put a lot of work into making them.

• oh boy

• we all are very well aware of the fact that shouto is one dense baby boy. like super dense. so dense in fact, that it took him literal m o n t h s to figure out that you had been flirting with him this whole time.

• you see, he liked you, a lot. even if he wasn't exactly sure what he was feeling. and i mean who could blame him, he didn't exactly have a good (or healthy) example of how relationships or the whole courting process works. so he was kinda a bit baffled?¿ like why was his heart beating so rapidly whenever you were near him??

• super confused. it literally took, ochaco, tenya and izuku to tell him that what he was feeling, was in fact, love. or a crush at the least. this confused him even more, because what was he supposed to do now? he wasn't really good with words, so telling you at this point in time wasn't an option. so he opted to wait and see how this whole "having feelings" thing would develope.

• what he didn't know tho, was that ochaco actually went and told you about how todoroki feels about you. which made you absolutely ecstatic. but honestly you didn't want to full on confront him about it either, because you knew about his hardships and didn't want to like overburden him. instead you decided to go about this lowkey and letting him make to first move, as to not make him uncomfortable

• aka, you started subtly flirting with him, making him lunch, inviting him to study with you, etc. all with the hope of him picking up on your hints, and ask you out.

• which didn't happen....at least not for a while. you would try everything in the realm of possibility, while still wanting to make sure not to make him uncomfortable. but honestly it was getting a bit...frustrating. he wasn't picking up any of your hints, like at all.

• it even went so far that your classmates would make very obvious comments, while the two of you were conversing, and every single time they would fly straight over his head. which in turn would make you even more frustrated.

• all of this reached a tipping point, when the two of you were walking back from grabbing lunch, which you even paid for, and were talking about a training exercise you did earlier that day. you were complimenting his quirk, and his battle finess, and also making very obvious statements about how good he looked while fighting bakugou.

• and yet, he still didn't get it. and at that, you kind of started crying? your frustration getting the better of you. and poor shouto was bamboozled as hell, looking like a puppy caught in the rain. he didn't know what the hell was going on.

• until you basically told him how much you liked him, and that you thought he liked you too, because uraraka said so and that everything you did the past few months were dropping hints in hopes of him picking up on them.

• literal lightbulbs lit up in his head, as he gently took a hold of your hands, and apologized in that sweet, monotone voice of his. this time you were dumbfounded, not at all expecting such a bold move from him.

• but you ended up talking it out that day, and well the rest is history

☆.｡.:* finally dating .｡.:*☆

• a sweet, sweet boy, trying his absolute best.

• like i said earlier, he didn't have a good example of how a functional relationship is supposed to look like. so in the beginning he will be quite hesitant to initiate physical contact, or well, anything really.

• he really doesn't want to make you uncomfortable and to be honest, he also wasn't really sure what was appropriate and what not. so it will be up to you to show him.

• i don't think he will ever be the biggest fan of pda, at least not the 'making out in front of a bunch of people' kind of pda. he prefers a more subtle form of public affection. like hand holding, cheek kisses, and the like.

• shouto is also a very perceptive person, and while he can be quite dense at times, he somehow always finds the right words for any situation. if you were feeling insecure, he will tell you in the most sincere way possible that there is absolutely no need to doubt yourself, because you have your own unique strenghts and qualities. feeling sad? he will offer you his shoulder to cry on, and his ears to listen to your worries and concerns.

• also loves buying you expensive things (of course, with his father's money). you see a nice dress in shop window? he will drag you into the store and make you try it on, and then get it for you. also shares all of his accounts with you, like netflix and what other services endeavor pays for.

• he also pays for most of your dates, even if you tell him he rlly does not have to. and he mostly just does it to piss off his father. so, it really isn't a rarety that you two would dine at luxurious restaurants every once in a while.

• speaking of dates; mostly you two wouldn't go out a lot. you prefered to stay indoors and just bask in each other's company. often you would sit on the couch and just read a book, either together or each of you reading your own. it actually became one of your favourite activities.

• his siblings, absolutely adore you. fuyumi and natsuo are overjoyed every time shouto announces that you will be staying for dinner, or generally coming over to their house. they are incredibly grateful that their baby brother found a lovely partner that accepts him just as he is, and shows him the love and support he was devoided of as a child.

☆.｡.:* kisses .｡.:*☆

• he is such a gentle lover, and the same can be said about his kisses aswell. there rarely is a time when he uses force, except when he is jealous or extremely emotional.

• shouto is also a touchy kisser, he wasn't at first, too scared of overstepping boundaries, but after a while he starting getting bolder. usually one hand would hold your waist, or situate itself on yor lower back, and the other would either wind itself in your hair (if he is feeling particularly needy) or tenderly hold your jaw.

• needless to say, every kiss you share with this boy is incredibly special and meaningful. since he isn't the best with words, he is extra careful to show his feelings through his actions, and what better way is there than to make you absolutely breathless every time you kissed?

• your first kiss; was unexpected? in all honesty it was actually an accident, it was that cliché move of you wanting to kiss his cheek, and him turning his head a bit too early and in turn, pressing his lips to yours. you both were quite embarrassed at first, until you got your bearings back and eventually leaned in for a proper kiss this time

• (natsuo loves teasing him whenever he catches you two being all lovely dovey and sharing sweet kisses on his living room couch, much to shouto's embarrassment)

The way he was caressing her just to do a whole 180 😭 he’s SICKKK … 😢 I fear my love for naoya is just disappearing… I still love him tho.. . I just cannot find it in me to forgive his ass 😭

And the subtle hint to tojiii?!?!???? One thing about me is I’m a toji simp before I am anything else 😫 I love that man. And I love how jinichi wasn’t really trying to get yn in trouble or anything. She did not need that in the moment 😢😢

Sorry for the late reply! I've been doing things here and there, mainly because I'm slowly starting to get busy with my work, but we here now!!

I'm so glad you liked the new chapter!!! And that it evoked that kind of reaction from you hahahahah I was sooo nervous, mainly because I thought everyone was expecting something different? But at the end of the day, it's important to stay with my original vision of the story and go from there :3

Awww writing a flustered Y/N was like a dream!!! I always liked that kind of trope when it comes to romance, because I guess some of us have been in that position that feel as if we gonna do something to mess the friendship up hahaha but I also like the other side of the spectrum—I wonder if we'll see it in this fic?

AND I DONT KNOW 😭😭 I DONT KNOW WHY JINICHI WAS COMFORTABLE TELLING Y/N THAT I mean, ah, he probably was having like a moment of weakness, you know? He saw his brother's room being noticed and he was like ok, maybe I'm not the only one that has forgotten about my brother (Even though Y/N doesn't know who Toji is lmao) she was probably the first person in a long time he's to spoken about Toji. EITHER WAY THERE IS SUCH A THING CALLED OVERSHARING and she certainly didn't need that right now.

But I gotta say, I like putting hints about Toji here and there hehe and I'm glad you liked them! I feel like you can't talk about the Zen'in without mentioning him (considering how the clan basically exists because he allowed it lmao)

Now onto the shock of the season: Naoaki. 🥺 I'm going to haunt him for the rest of his life if he decides to do something wrong towards Y/N, but there's no denying he's been doing so much for her 😭 why must he confuse us like this :'(

And finally... Naoya. I wanted to portray his delusions hahahah how distracted he can get when things are seemingly going his way, only to fall right back down to reality. He just does bad things over and over again, I'm finding it hard to like him too but omg I guess I'm holding on because he's handsome (AND I GOTTA SAY, NOT THE MOST HANDSOME ZEN'IN SO HE'S ON THIN ICE) but yeah, that was unnecessary cruel from him :( he likes to say that he cares about Y/N but then does that shit 🙄 no wonder she likes Naoaki more and more each day.

But we shall see what happens next chapter :3 I feel like I say this allot, but the next chapter is like hand down, one of the moments I've been wanting to write since the beginning of the story, and I hope to pull it off!! I can't wait for you to read it ❤ (and after that, a break!!)
