Also it makes no SENSE for Feyre to be resentful of Tamlin not rescuing her all of a sudden? Tamlin saved her already by returning her to the human realm. SHE returned to fight and die for him. She KNEW she'd most likely die but she was there to rescue HIM. It's not like she got kidnapped by Amarantha and he just watched, no she came to die for him. It's kind of weird to blame him for not getting her out when she came in to get HIM out.

So yeah, ACOMAF is awful in this regard and I just don't get it. It would have been quite easy and possible to make Feyre realize that Tamlin isn't right for her without literally making shit up about him that conflicts with book one.

God your post about reading over that fucking guy's writing reminded me of the time my ex had me read over some writing of his and how not a single woman in that story was written in a good light. Every last woman was either the most evil bitch to walk this earth (according to the people in the story anyway - I thought she was the best character) or just okay if kinda boring... except for the fact that all of them "cheated" on the guys in the story and then were shunned by the town bc of it. There were 3 couples and all of them broke up bc the girl was "cheating" on the guy in some fashion (by "cheating" I mean, except in one case, the girl did something innocent that didn't put the guy first so the girl was then considered to be cheating on him by everyone in the town)

He asked what I thought about it and I gently brought up that I felt that he was being rather unfair to a few of the girls in his story. He was pretty adamant that no, he wasn't being unfair, they were in the wrong and deserved to be treated the way he wrote them. 🙃

We broke up 3 weeks later.
