Everybody is thirsting over Tenoch Huerta, and I agree that he's so so hot but the sexiest thing about him is his soul.

Every time I'm watching an interview of him, I'm humbled by how much he brings into the conversation.

I've personally never really seen a male actor talk so vocally about colorism and racism in the entertainment industry and in soctiey (the only ones I can think about right now are John Boyega and Jesse Williams) but it's something that isn't so common.

Tenoch talks about it so unapologetically and actually says the words, he doesn't sugarcoat it or minimizes it. He not afraid to talk about how racism and colorism are still present in Mexican society.

He's not afraid to talk about what the movie means to him, he's not afraid to talk about his origins, his history, about how for hundreds of years Mexican people with Indegenous origins like him were thought to be ashamed of those origins, and how they were taught to be ashamed of their ancestors, how it's a trauma shared with all the people who were "conquered" but how proud he is of his origins now.

He's not making his way by trying to blend in but by being himself.

Another example I have in mind was in a talk show the other day he was asked a question about accents and explained how accents are part of our identity, it's our linguistic identity. He gave the example of "American English" and "British English", he went on to explain how you can't really say that one or the other is the correct accent, it's just different linguistic identity. Let me tell you, I had never thought of accent that way but, wow.

He explained how happy he was that Ryan Coogler wanted to keep his accent and didn't ask him to work on it or change it and made it part of his character.

I'm mesmerized by the way he talks about such important issues, I mesmerized by the way he talks about his castmates, I mesmerized by the way he doesn't let any question destabilize him and just choses to be unapologetically himself.

A small Hazbin theory

We all know Alastor is trapped, but I think I know a bit more about that. The strings in this scene here are the exact same color as Husk’s chains. Secondly, the strings aren’t just on his mouth, they’re on his shoulder, both common places for puppet strings to be attached. Plus, the string looks like the stitching of a doll, especially when combined with the eyes that look like buttons. Even the way he moves is odd. His head constantly moves jankily, at speeds and angles that would snap a persons neck. But, those movements would easily be done by a doll or puppet. I also want to bring up the fact that he’s helping the hotel in the first place, because I don’t think it’s out of boredom like he said in the pilot, at least not entirely. The sinners that are willing to stay at the hotel are desperate. They’re the bottom of the food chain. The people who don’t have any power, who actually find their surroundings to be hellish. Desperate people do whatever they can to survive, including making deals. The hotel would be a cesspool of desperate people, perfect for deal making. Pulling all this together, I believe Alastor is a puppet of sorts, who has to capture souls to exchange for his eventual freedom. Alastor is power hungry. He has constantly shown his need to be in control of his surroundings. He got his power through the one he made a deal with, but that power isn’t really his. I’m open to hearing anyone’s thoughts on this though.

Alyx wasn't alone.

And she likely didn't leave.

Here me out: The first thing we learn about Alyx is she feels loneliness upon returning from the EverAfter. However, up until this point, she's been described as fairly estranged from everyone. No-one mentions her by name, humans are pretty hated by those who know what humans are.

So, why is she lonely?

Because Alyx didn't fall alone. She fell with someone else.

This person is the likely culprit, seeing as in the beginning we see two dashes across the sky.

Considering a good dose of RWBY fairytales feature Ozma in some capacity, people making stories based on their own adventures isn't too far-fetched.

I'm thinking they both entered, but only one was able to leave. Maybe one person had to stay behind, maybe one of them died. Nonetheless, they wrote the story by erasing the second person or merging their interactions into one person.

How likely is it that Alyx had to give up both her happiest and saddest memory? Doesn't it make more sense if only one of them had to give up their happiest, and the other, their saddest?

We've already seen some revision. The Red King died! Likely killed by a human! We don't know for sure that was Alyx – it wasn't in her story. But how much can we trust her narrative, if there's possibly some heavy revisionism going on?

Listen to the Curious Cat. When Ruby says they're humans, they answer: "You're not nearly as interesting as the others I've met." That's otherS. Plural. Could be referring to Neo, Jaune, or maybe there's a whole village! But equally likely Alyx wasn't prancing around alone.

There's even more evidence in the song, Inside. During the instrumental break, I posit we get a conversation between Alyx and the mysterious companion:

"Okay, I'm almost certain that last time WE went to the left." "So, no way, WE should not turn back, WE need to go in that direction."

That only begs the question: why were they erased from the narrative?
