Charles and Y/N get in an argument (probably something Jules related) and Y/N goes to a cage fight to let off some steam. Charles shows up to apologise after learning from Arthur where she was but his entrance distracts her and she gets a big hit to the head. When she wakes up she has amnesia (foreshadowed in part 7) and essentially becomes the person her parents always wanted because she can't remember Jules or Alicia or any of the nice people who taught her compassion and humility growing up. She becomes the entitled rich bitch she used to pretend to be and Charles tries to remind her of who she really is but she doesn't listen. One day he snaps, ready to give up, and goes to her house to return the book of Jules' he stole and blurts out that he loves her. It doesn't make a difference. A few days later she is bored and picks up the book to read and opens the page, smelling the berry scented ink and recognises her writing where it says 'For Jules' and the memories start to come back. She leaves her family after remembering what pieces of shit they were to her and goes to Monaco and confesses her love for Charles and they get their happy ever after.

⠀ ★ ⠀ | ARTHUR CONFIDES IN YOU WHEN HE can. It’s never when wants of course, he didn’t have that luxury. The life he lived would never offer him that. You knew that very well, so did he.

In fact, Arthur Morgan is the very reason your springs were lonely, left alone in fields of sweet grass, spring clovers and fresh morning dew.

Sometimes it felt like the cardinals were mocking you, singing in a lovers coo with nothing but soul in their hearts. Every spring, you’d watch the environment change by yourself, somehow your thoughts would drift to him, that damn cowboy who stole your heart one faithful evening.

It was the little things of course, little echoes and path ways that led you back to him. Sometimes it was a deer, a fawn on new shaky legs. So young, so spirited. Speckled over with daisy white speckles on brown fur.

Then sometimes it was simply a meadow, covered with soft grass, fallen logs cultivated in lichen, springtails and moss. You could already envision the various ideas scattered throughout his journal from the mere description of Strawberry in the springtime.

Filled with life and greenery, everything was so beautiful, so full. Yet it still felt empty without him— Arthur. Suddenly the look of morning dew on an early morning under the suns golden rays didn’t satisfy you anymore.

What was the word for this yearning? This desire to bring back

Your lost love? Mooning, it was mooning. In fact, the moon was a somber reminder of that. Beams of moonlight illuminated your bed; the bed Arthur Morgan used to lay in.

It still had to he faint scent of leather, gunpowder, and sandalwood. The smell of Arthur came in like rising tides at dusk, washing over you in waves. Hazy visions of the outlaw clouded your mind, calloused fingers that used to rub along your side and spine.

Maybe this love was tainted, like an icicle melting off into a stream during the spring. It would form again, then melt once more.

It was the cycle of your love, he’d always trickle back to you. Creating permanent cracks in your mind, pathways that always lead you back to Arthur Morgan.

Your thoughts come to a stop, the knock at the door startles you. Surely it wasn’t… Could it be?

It takes you about two seconds to fully process everything, you’re already peaking through your blinds to figure out who might be at your door at such an hour. A familiar blue button up shirt and an even more familiar hat instantly soothed your wild thoughts.

Your heart only swelled, with your chest filled with warmth.

Oh, Arthur.

Your feet are quicker than your mind, it would be wise and logical to stay in bed and just wait it out. But you’re thinking with your heart instead, your feet propel you forward

You’re finally met with your door, there’s a sense of dread. The possibility of Arthur not being the one at your door was frightening. Apparently not frightening enough to make you turn back though.

Palms would grab the handle of your door knob, twisting with in a slow fashion. You’re met with the sound of creaky door, heavy boots and a shaky breath.

One thing you note, is how hesitant he is to enter your space. Despite the many months you’ve spent together in the privacy of your residence, away for prying towns folk and travelers… he still hid away. Was it out of shame? Or was it out of guilt?

You’d always feel Arthur back in again though. With open arms and an open door.

Like headcanons? Sure 😌 I’m sorry this took me so long!!! I kept having to really think about it and kept forgetting it was in my drafts.

Al:

Annoyed at first, since he thinks you’re ignoring him. Cranky old man who’ll be pissed when you “aren’t listening” to what he tells you. Once he figures it out, he’s maybe a tiny bit sheepish, but not by much. You should have told him up-front, so it’s your fault you got hurt!

He can’t whisper things in your ears, so he’ll have to find other means of making you squirm and tremble, purposely breathing hot air on your throat and nipping your earlobes. If you can read lips, he’ll probably take keep the lower half of his mask off, so that you know what he’s…ordering you to do 😏

Eventually he just finds it cute, being able to sneak up on you and grab you from behind when you’re looking elsewhere, enjoying your shaking and fear each time he startles you. It’s cute, watching you jump when he comes up behind you and breathes on the nape of your neck.

Ernest:

There’s not…much to say about him, really. He’s kind of impartial about it. I feel like he might know sign language himself, or would take the time to learn it for you.

If he’s in the pining stage of not yet having you, I could see him saying all the things he wants to say while your back is turned, knowing you can’t hear him. He’s a Shy Boi, so he practices what he would say to you behind your back.

Arthur:

For sure already knows sign language. He’s a smart cookie. He already conveys a lot of his emotions with his facial expressions, so you probably won’t even need to hear him to know how he’s feeling/what he’s trying to convey to you.

He’s a bit…overprotective. You’re by no means incapable of doing things yourself, and are wholly independent, but he still worries. You can’t hear—what if someone snuck up on you? Stole you away before you could so much as scream? He keeps a close eye on you.

Paul:

He’s already a man of few words himself. Doesn’t talk a whole lot, except to his dog. So he doesn’t think much of it, just does his best to communicate however he can. He’s more of a man of actions, anyway.

Lars:

Probably kind of an asshole at first if you’re a hostage. Like?? Did you not hear what I said? Get on the ground!! Except…no, you did not hear what he said, and now he’s incredibly embarrassed.

He doesn’t know sign-language, but he’s trying his best. It’s kind of endearing, watching him awkwardly scramble to write things down for you, unsure of how best to communicate, apologizing profusely for his mistake.

Lars is like a clumsy puppy, torn between trying to seem intimidating and keep you in line, but also being incredibly accommodating to your needs and as helpful as possible.

She fell for Kieran only for it to all be a lie😭😭 He kinda reminded me of S1 Grace with him coming from Ireland and tricking the reader into falling for him as a cover for his evil! I loved how Eva was ready to help her and didn't seem to blame her for what happened to Polly either! I didn't think she would but I feel like Tommy or Arthur would possibly blame the reader for what happened a bit just because the reader was dating Kieran! It also made me laugh how Tommy had said he stole the rug in America but Eva was like "nope" don't go lying to my maid! I also liked how you described her study room! It was very well done and I could almost feel the readers apprehension (nerves?) about going in, but this time it was more peaceful! I loved it! And then at the end Eva had her given a key to the sitting room! Oh that's special!! 🥰🥰It was sweet and also reminded me of a post I think you had made about Eva probably having a room full of cursed (or de-cursed) objects given to her by tommy! Only this de-cursed thing (us!😁) is able to move in and out of the room😂 I loved how Eve started telling the reader about her "younger" years too! Oh hi! So first off “A Tough Sell” was the cutest thing I’ve ever read!!!❤️❤️❤️Elsie is so cute and she’s also a girl who knows what she wants. Tommy was definitely surveying a future possible employee when he was making deals with her😂😂 also look at the big soft gangster giving her more money for chocolate chip cookies🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 the. Elise was like you can have all the cookies but not my moms basket!!!!! Ahhh idk why but that part was so cute to me! ❤️❤️ Also on a different note when reading this something else came to mind😂…. …….So have you ever seen the movie Despicable Me? when I was reading this I just through of that movie and how Gru literally adopted the girls so they could be his spys (or their cookies could) and for some reason this story just remind me of that😂😂 liks I started picturing this conv In my head, where one of the blinders boys doesn’t believe she just wants to sell cookies and he is trying to convince another boy that she’s a “tiny agent” (thanks stark) spying for some enemy or something 😂 while like finn and isaiah just sit there eating the cookies they stole from tom and Arthur, completely ignoring him. And then when Elise come back he suspiciously watches her make her round and when she gets to him and asks him how many cookies he wants, he does buy some (b/c snickerdoodle is his moms fav and he can’t be the only one to not buy them) but like he hands her money whispering “I’m on to you tiny spy” and Elise is just like “Ok fine, I did save 2 cookies because they‘re my daddy’s favorites, but that’s it!” And this boy is just like “wow her cover is deeper than I thought.” Whenever he brings it up he gets whacked on the back of head b/c “she’s like 6 and only wears pink”, “Some criminal masterminds start young, besides crime has no dresscode!” and yeah. BUT!

Arthur stole me from Leonardo. Beyond the チャラ personalitu is one really kind and serious person. According to Theo, he is the most human despite becoming a vampire. And, he is smart without being cocky. 🤓✨💕

Lastly, his plot route was really written well.
