Many years ago, in a different country, a set of twins were born. In another room, a runaway league of assassin also gave birth to a baby boy.

To punish the runaway, a hit was put on their newborn son. The assassin silently traversed the hospital and grabbed the baby from off the cart as the nurse was distracted.

After successfully securing the child the assassin ran off into the woods behind the hospital. They grinned to themselves as this was their first mission and glad to have made such a great success. Preparing a dagger in one hand they raise it above the child to strike when...

The wristband on the baby twisted to look at them, and with horror, they read the last name 'Grayson'.

They kidnapped one of the Grayson twins...

In a panic, they threw the baby into the woods and fled back to the hospital. But by the time they got there to kill the real baby they were sent for it was too late. The runaway assassin and the child were gone.

Meanwhile, two ectobiologists scour the woods behind a hospital on their honeymoon. What better way to celebrate marriage than with ghost hunting in a new country!

Then they hear the sounds of crying... suffering spooks! Is that a baby? Well we already have our daughter... why not give her a new baby brother :)

Dick notices that Talia gives him a weird look whenever she sees him. It's one that he has never seen her wear towards any of the other bats, so it bothers him.

Then one day after Damian and him defeat an assassin sent to kill Damian Talia shows up and says something that makes Dicks blood run cold.

“I'm so glad that you're the Grayson twin that hadn't been killed.”

Honestly Ozai’s treatment of zuko and Azula was probably less about who they were and more about him projecting what he wishes his father would have done for him with Iroh.

He is after all a second born child himself and he’s always just wanted his father to see that he was the better child.

Azula was never a person to Ozai not really she was just his self insert in the fanfiction he was writing himself. It’s why she stops mattering the moment he finds something bigger than being fire lord.

Generally I don't imagine he would ever bother with the techniques and worries of the Eldar because he doesn't regard them as having made anything of worth. But after 3000 years waiting, Melkor returns from Valinor and ONLY has eyes for these jewels-- made by an elven smith, someone of his own profession who is now seemingly having done something better than he ever could.

Despite the fact that Feanor never gave Melkor anything but cold hatred it appears Melkor has a higher opinion of this inconsequential elf's expertise in a profession Sauron basically INVENTED-- he HAS to see what all the fuss is about right? What if he was able to do what Feanor did, and throw away those burning things that are bringing nothing but trouble to them? Imagine how loved he would be-- and imagine how utterly ruined if he tried and could not succeed.

and he can't succeed. no matter what he does no matter what incredibly powerful and beautiful jewelry and metalwork he can bring into being, he, a spirit of the forge who has honed his skill since the beginning of creation, will never ever come close to imitating the work of a petty short-lived elf. I think that would haunt him until the end of fucking time

If there is one phrase that has defined this man throughout his journey, it is this.

Considering I rushed him through ARR to take this specific gpose set, and then fell in love with him from then on, I wanted to echo it in homage to where he started, and how far he's come.

I love this big, dumb orange cat with my whole heart, and I'm so happy I ran back through the story with him.

Now it's time to see him off to Tural for his next journey.

That one world quest with cassadee where we try to help her realize that her idolization of merlin maybe not for who he is as a person, but rather what merlin represent.. Which is magic itself....

Anyways, take that concept and put it to when young mirael when she was still merlin student. In a sense, her adoration for merlin appear the same to cassadee idolization for merlin, and once merlin had said to young mirael; "are you sure you're adoring me for who I am or are you adoring merlin?" and for the longest time mirael was so sure what she likes about her mentor IS for who that person really is, not the title he carries, not what he represent as a whole. Merlin was mirael dearest and she so sure of that, so sure she looked for her mentor for 20 years...

Then she meet her dearest again, except... He's different. no longer the same person she remembers (and he doesn't remembers her)

So once again came in the question... Is it merlin she adore, or her dearest "mentor"?

As someone who actually still likes Kanade to an extent (mainly due to ond memories of roleplaying as a very ooc version of her with friends when i was younger) the part i dislike about her the most has to be Linuj saying that she is evil no matter what.

I think i hate the "Born evil" trope just as much as Bubbles hates Chapter 3s, it's just such a lame way to write vilains and almost always results in them being 2 dimensional hate sinks that would have been so much more enjoyable if they weren't written to be flat as a piece of cardboard. A quick example that comes to mind for me is Stella from Helluva boss where i genuinely feel like the Stolas family drama would have benefited immensely from her being an actual character and not just an all around stupid awful woman with no redeeming qualities that exists just to make the audience see him as nothing but the poor little guy in comparison.

And depending on the scenario is just flat out unrealistic since no one comes out of the womb being the spawn of satan, there's always something, be it their upbringing, something actually reasonable or small and petty, that makes someone start being a piece of shit. Kanade's awfulness could have been used as a way to show how abuse from a loved one twists and shaped the kind of person she became, but instead Linuj came in and went "Oh Kanade? Nah, she would be a bitchass yandere no matter what" and that's just really dissapointing.

//The best argument for someone to be born evil is that they have certain genes that makes them more malicious and evil. Of course in a normal setting this is unrealistic but in more fanastical setting its normally possessing corruptive elements or just not possessing any positive emotions whatsoever. Or the best one is someone who is born fated to be evil, tries to prevent themselves from going bad but fate just drags them to be evil.

Honestly despite my feelings about how the last arc of MHA went down I really love Deku and his story.

I just feel like a lot of the time we get these protagonists whose whole philosophy is it doesn’t matter what you were born as everyone can achieve greatness. But then the series goes on and it turns out that actually it DOES matter because the protagonist has this really great lineage and these really great powers you can only have through birth they were actually born born, predestined if you will, to do this.

But MHA actually sticks to its guns. Midoriya wasn’t revealed to have some great connection to all might that the universe had put in place. He wasn’t defended from some great lineage that makes him uniquely suited to this. Hell All for one didn’t even turn out to be his father, there was no hidden powerful quirk he was always meant to have. He was just Midoriya Izuku a boy who was in the right place at the right time and simply decided to act while the world did nothing. And that’s what really made him a hero.

I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I believe him a bit more when he goes anybody can be a hero if you just decide to act

Maybe unpopular opinion but I don't get the Howard hate lol. Like Chuck and Jimmy are worse than him IMO.

An oathbreaker paladin (formerly a paladin of devotion) who has no idea why he had fallen from grace. He has never broken his vow. His devotion had never once wavered. So why has he been abandoned? Branded a traitor? Why do his prayers now go unanswered?

But instead of feeling contempt or desiring revenge, he only tries to remain faithful and do as much good as he can. In the hopes that one day, he will be forgiven for whatever transgression he must have committed.

Additional note: He's abstinent and naturally I need to make him needlessly hot. Because I am a sadist.
