While I judge his youthful naivete in going 'wait, the military killed people???' I support Edward Elric sapping government resources for years and then immediately leaving when he got what he wanted. Same energy as the guy who took a job at a software company, fixed one bug, and then quit.

Alex 🤝 FFS Ef: trying to convince their healthcare providers to not provide a sliding scale fee
The healthcare providers like 'omg how do I deal with these guys, seriously.'
Look is it my dream for all of my healthcare providers to charge me less because they take one look at me and know I could do with a break? Yes. Yes it is. Do I get to repeatedly live that out in fanfiction? Yes. Yes I do.
Fictional worlds get to be (slightly) more merciful than the real world, when I'm writing them, lmao.
(Also honestly I have had healthcare providers do this. Not always, but enough that like... I know how that mercy feels. I once burst into tears because of it. We have *some* free healthcare and then some *very expensive* healthcare. This is a place where I get my cancer treatment free but have to pay $650 outright to see my psychiatrist for the initial appointment, and then $350 for every subsequent 15 minutes. Without insurance, that's just...painful - but like without it, I think I'd be dead maybe so).
Anyway, yeah, living my fantasy life through these characters and I'm sure a few other folks who have dealt with needing to pay for healthcare are doing the same fsaldkjfdas

Lorcana Headcanon-Magical Girl Avengers
Messing with the cards in Lorcana gives me lots of ideas for decks, plus some headcanons.
First, I have an Amethyst Magical Girls deck I want to build that consists of Elsa, Madam Mim, Lena and Magica, with some other random cards I want to throw in. Then I find the Sorcerer's Tower card and a bunch of Magic Broom cards and suddenly I get a headcanon for a Marvel's Avengers type story where the Magical Girls are the Avengers and Yen Sid (or Mickey) is Tony Stark and The Sorcerer's Tower is their headquarters. And the tower needs to be cleaned, so the Magic Brooms clean it, but they're also allies you can use in battle.

i need to let go of the residual anger i feel towards several of my male coworkers at my most recent job including my co-history teacher who constantly bragged about how much better he was at classroom management than other teachers (almost all female) and gossiped about other people at work (almost all female) and was generally really dismissive and smug all the time BUT he was having some convo w other teachers in the last couple weeks of the school year and he was like “i love being a teacher so much, i really feel like the only thing i would leaving teaching for is if i got the opportunity to be a stay-at-home dad” and i swear to god it took all my willpower not to blurt something like “oh, you’ve found another traditionally female line of work that you want to appropriate?” lmfaoooooo. shake it off girl. shake it off.

this is so funny. it’s like that infographic of all the “organic” food brands being owned by the same fucked up corporations as everything else. maybe we should think critically about the rise of the disney monopoly / the rise of the star wars cinematic universe / the rise of real world fascism because bro andor is nuts

Also, since apparently talking about him is something I do now: my answer to the “why didn’t Kazama do anything to help Nishiki’s dying sister” question is that he just didn’t have 30 million yen. That’s it. It’s a lot of money even for yakuza, if the things Nishiki has to do to get it are anything to go off of, and I doubt he had any access to organ traffickers given his family’s reputation as the noble one.

How has the group been getting materials and food before the stable noticed them? As I know by Robbie’s lab there is that gorge and in it are some monsters and a monster camp near the furnace? Plus akkala is full of monsters and camps so how did they get the food and materials for stuff?
Before the monsters arrived, Robbie would get all his supplies from the stable. I'm assuming that post-Calamity Hyrule still has somewhat of an economy - where merchants travel goods to and from the major settlements and stables. I forget what chapter I mentioned it in, but there's a line where Hoz realized that recently, Robbie's been asking for a lot more ingredients/materials than usual.
Which means that Robbie's food bill undoubtedly skyrocketed thanks to our monster squad, which means he has to charge Link more to make ancient equipment lmao
